I don't often review apps but I feel obligated to thank the makers of this app for doing an incredible job. When I bought this app I wasn't expecting much - just a simple calender that I could keep track of my cycles with. However, this app is so much morethan that!!! And with frequent updates it keeps evoloving and becoming better!I use this App because my future husband and I are going to be using Natural Family Planning methods after we get married and this App will help make all of the work so much easier. Thanks for the App an Updates and keep up the good work!!

I've never used any of the calendars discussed by other reviewers, so can't compare. BUT. . . This is a terrific app! I have to keep detailed records for my doctor due to a long history of problems, etc., and this allows me to note everything, add notes, and I can email it to her if needed! How cool is that? I also LOVE being able to see when my period is expected in the future (for planning vacations and such), especially since I'm not a 28-day cycle gal. Finally, I don't have to note it in my regular calendar, which is much more discreet.

I've been using this app for about a year now and have been very happy with it. It's easy to use and the updates are only making things better. I love that it has a password so I don't have to worry about nosey people getting into it on accident. I also appreciate that its as easy as a few taps to track my periods or to figure out when my next is due. There are lots of other features included in the app that are pretty nice to have as well.

What can I say, this is what my mother and doctor have been trying to get me to do since I first got my period! The best app ever for women. To get an idea, I am sooo lazy about writing reviews that I never do. I just had to for this one. To make things better the developers have kept their end of the bargain by keeping the price and not raising their prices regardless of popularity. I bought this app (after 3 others) roughly a 1 1/2 year ago for 1.99$. I got ALL the updates for free and the app still has this same great price with more features. Even my OBGYN raves about how much detail I can give him when problems come up. So recomend? Not really, I believe this is an OBLIGATORY app for every woman out there even those who think they don't need it like me ;) To the developers: if you could get these details to sync with Outlook, I would simply adore you!

I have never kept track of my period before and I'm only 12 so I always put it off because I always thought I had time so at first when I bought this app I thought it would be confusing and that there wouldn't be many details but was I wrong!! It's very easy to use and if you have troubles with it and don't know what to do you click help and it Lets you chose what you need help on and it gives you very easy to follow steps. And it has so many different details about your period like flow, mood and more! One thing that I really like about it is that it has password protection (optional) which I like because people including guys that I don't want to know about my period and all the details on it because that's to personal for me. Overall I love it!!!!!

This application is fantastic, does exactly what it claims to, and is well worth the money. The graphics are nice, and it's very intuitive to use. Just a couple of things that keep my rating from going up to 5 star - it's a little slow when you ask it to change pages, and also it's a little annoying that you have to click in the little box to for the keyboard to come up to enter your password - it knows I need to enter my password, why doesn't the keyboard pop up as soon as I open the application? Tiny picky things, if I could Id give it 4.99 stars :)

I have been using this app for a few months. Being pre-menopausal my cycle is all over the place but I am seeing more of a pattern using this app. My husband LOVES that he can get emails alerting us to my upcoming period. He knows when he sees the alert to just be more sensitive to my PMS. I am able to check my calendar quickly to let the dr know when my last period was and not have try to remember or just guestimate. This app has been very helpful and I highly recommend it.

Love this app! So much easier then trying to keep track in the standard iPhone calendar! Love all the choices, it covers all the bases. The data export is super! Particularly when you need to discuss matters with your doctor... Just go to the app or export the data and voilà , it is all there! Really like that with the most recent release the calendar can be set as the default display when opening the app. Keep up the great work!

I like this a lot. Makes planning so much easier. Could you add the phases of the moon please? //(even just full and new would be great) // Maybe an option in case some don't want it. That would be very interesting and we could see how it pulls us one way or another. Thanks.// update: could you please put days since last period in the summary? Doctor always asksand then I would have the info handy. Also sometimes I am just wondering. Thanks. I like this program with updates . 2/25/094/9/09 more updates. The notes is a lot easier. I am using it now to track any other syptoms of another condition I have and it is nice to have it together with my cycle. Many times the doctor says well how long have you had this and I don't remember. Now if I notice something I will take notes.1/9/09Update is good and I can hide the name but now on the opening page it says Next Period on big letters. Also is that one page all that is changed by new skins? Please make one without Period in big letters.Also this is good for pre menopause. My periods are irregular and I made my own reminder if when I have hot flashes, tired, headache, and ovulating? for when there are signs of it like spinn. Trying to guess when it will start again.

When I initially purchased this app (7-8 mo. ago), I felt silly because it did not seem to be relevant---tracking one's period. However, in 2009, I had to have fibroids removed. Guess what?? Every specialist, nurse practitioner, and even operating staff inquired about my cycle (and the irregularities that the fibroids caused). This app is so clear and easy to track, even predicting future cycles (great for scheduling around---doctor appt, special ceremonies, etc.). Again, Fabulous...period (pun intended).

A great app that just keeps getting better!

I have been a fan of iperiod since I got months ago. It is very easy to use. Having user defined icons, the ability adjust your luteal phase, and other customizable options are extremely helpful. I like having a few different options to back-up my data, especially considering I don't want the information on shared computers. It is very convient to be able to e-mail the data to my doctor or to bring it with me to an appointment. The latest updates have been fabulous, only making iperiod more convient to use. Being able to track my basal body temperature is an addition that could not have come along at a better time. This update has made charting my BBT so easy.I truly love this app & can't say enough good things about it. Hopefully I have pointed out some of the features that in my opinion make it far superior to other period and/or ovulation predictors.

I started off with this app abou 6-7 months ago. I thought at that time "wow" the perfect thing to keep up with my crazy cycles. In the short time I've had it they have added and added great things...weight tracking, breast exam reminder!!! This app rocks!!!! And it's great to have all this info at your fingertips when u visit the doc!!I can't even remember what or if I paid anything for it...but Its worth a ton to me!!!Thank u for making part of my life a lot easier!!!

Simply put, I love this app. Everything is so simple and easy to use. I used to use an online tracker, but iPeriod makes that tracker look like overkill. Tracking my cycles is now so much easier and way more convenient. I don't need to track a lot of stuff with my cycles (like symptoms, weight, flow specifics, etc.), but I like that I can if I ever need to. If you need to track a lot of stuff, though, this app will fall short. For example, if you need to track more than 4 symptoms and you don't want to be hassled with marking their severity in a note, then you need to keep looking. But if all you need to track are start/end dates and the occasional mood swing, then iPeriod is perfect.
For me, iPeriod truly is perfect: It tracks a few things, does it very very well, and then gets out of my way so I get can on with my life. Thanks Winkpass!

I use every single feature this app offers, from the password lock to the custom icons. The interface is simple, pleasing to the eye, and intuitive. Their customer service is great! I sent an email inquiring if they planned on releasing a way to track and visually trend basal body temperature, and I got a response within minutes! And yes, they have something in the works! Yippiee!
You can modify the date you actually start you period for any cycle if the app miscalculates it. Just go to the summary page and edit the cycle that was wrong. Remember, we all have different cycles that can be influenced by stress, hormones, and so many other things. I highly recommend this app! Especially now that it's 50% off! I paid full price and am thoroughly happy!

the person that wrote the review "misleading app description" clearly doesn't know what she's doing... this app has 4 types of detail graph tracking! (read the instructions people) simply turn your phone landscape as opposed to how your looking at your phone now in portrait view and you'll see the graph come to view - and yes you could also log in symptoms and all sorts of detail in the notes section and by choosing various moods... I've tried other similiar products but none compare to this one! don't know how I lived without this app! 

This app is wonderful! I started using it when my husband and I were trying to get pregnant. It only took us two months which I credit partially to this app and the features telling your optimum fertility. It especially came in handy at my prenatal visits when they asked me specific dates and all I had to do was pull up the app and there it was. I was very greatful that I didn't have to guess and the doctors were right on so my baby's due date is near perfect within one day. I would use this the next time!!!~ Greatful User

This app is so much more than just a period tracker. The updates now provide me with a weight tracker, and a BBT tracker all in this one app! Moreover, a rotation to landscape view gives you your data in a charted format! (I love that!) It is seriously fantastic.Also, disregard those reviews from people who whine about losing their data...it's called being responsible and backing up your data. The option is built right in - how much easier can the developer make it ??Excellent app!

...and not only that, the developer is extremely responsive and solved issues I had with the app crashing. This app is now keeping track of more than my menstrual cycle. with the new calendar icon options, I'm keeping track of days when I'm sick, have a headache or have gone to the gym. Highly recommended and completely worth the price. Both my sister and a girlfriend of mine have already purchased this app as well!

This app was great when I bought it, and has gotten better with each update. A very intelligently designed and easy to use app, I feel it was well worth the reasonable price.
The latest update did cause a temporary problem. My data was initially erased, but since I had exported it as the designers recommend, I was able to re-enter it. As I started doing so, much of the "lost" data reappeared, saving me the trouble. I emailed Winkpass to report the problem, and they responded immediately with apologies. They were very professional and thoughtful, and said that they are currently working on enabling users to back up their data online at no additional charge.
It's a smart and easy to use app, from a company that genuinely respects their customers. You can't go wrong.

Had this app for a year and it just keeps on getting better (like Christina Aguilera  hehe)Anyway, there's a bug with the temperature. Even if u hit "Cancel" when in the Temp options, it still selects and records whatever temperature you were hovered over. Also could we have the ability to sort the various options. For example, arrange the options as notes, then moods, then love connection, etc. It's not a big deal it's just that more things you add the more I'd like the abilty to emphasize (ie putting at top) the things that are most used by and most important to me. Thanks for everything guys!(now get to work! lol, just kidding )
