FANTASTIC SOFTWARE  rating of Kenkou
By: Carl name already taken - Oct 22, 2008
Version: 1.4
This will be short, my last two review attempts were eaten by the system because my nick name was not unique I would recommend this program to anyone wanting to keep a log of medical information. I have purchased several applications of this type from the iTunes store and this is the only one that I have used for more than 15 minutes. I use this program at least six times a day. I would gladly accept a refund on the other applications so that I could send the money to this developer!!! Programmer/Developer/Aurhor: Great application, please keep up the good work. Thanks, Carl

I keep going back to this app  rating of Kenkou
By: BatouOfNexus - Sep 22, 2008
Version: 1.3
I like the app and I keep coming back to it because it is the only thing I have found that tracks multiple things all in one place. It still needs work but I do like this application.
One feature that would be very useful is the ability to define user tracked information. Even if it just is to create your own category so you can keep things seperated. Currently, I just use the Mood field for tracking all sorts of things and it would be nice to be able to seperate them out.

Nice app  rating of Kenkou
By: John the artist - Aug 9, 2008
Version: 1.2
This app lacks a biy in creative design, but makes up for it by tracking everything I need to keep track of, and offering the ability to email the results to myself as a backup. I'm still experiencing some crashing, and I wish the insulin type showed up in the list with the glucose. Ideally I'd like to see my food (cause of my rising glucose), readings, and shots (treatment of high glucose) in the same list chronologicaly so I can see how things like food affect glucose, insulin affects glucose level, etc without having to back out and hunt around.

A Great Start!  rating of Kenkou
By: Buzzwami - Jul 14, 2008
Version: 1.0
I would have given it more stars if it was more polished (I'm commenting on the first release, v1.0). If the developer continues it may someday rate a 5 star, it has the potential and the solid beginnings are there. There are a couple of glitches that the developer notes on his web page and says will be corrected. He has promised improvements so I look forward to commenting again.
I bought the program because I need to keep track of my Blood Pressure and Weight. It does both of those well, there are histories, graphs and averages, but no way to export (the developer has said this will be corrected). Everything is easy to navigate and data entry is easy (no spin wheels!).

Virtually perfect  rating of Kenkou
By: Cdawg - Jul 29, 2008
Version: 1.1
It's quick, simple to use, great interface and the graphing tools are a winning solution! The new features will make it almost perfect. I would personally like them to incorporate more use of the scroll feature for number inputs in future versions but I haven't seen 1.2 yet to be fair. If u like logging ur diet and excercise stats this is the thing for you!

Brilliant health care tracker!  rating of Kenkou
By: Aido431 - 01-Aug-2008

This app is fantastic and I cannot wait for version 1.2! My GP found it really useful due to the fact that my BP needs to be tracked while sitting and then standing. Thanks and looking forward to the update! Well Done on a fantastic app!

Great new features  rating of Kenkou
By: jckohler - Mar 30, 2009
Version: 1.6
I'm glad to see that you can now use the "All" selection for date ranges. It is really nice to be able to see multi-year trends this way. The date entry is also greatly improved in this version. The graphs could use some more detail like labels on the axes.

Love this App , BUT.....  rating of Kenkou
By: Chris.Emry - Sep 22, 2008
Version: 1.3
I like the app & use it a lot ... unfortunately it has lost my data more often than I can remember anymore. I wake up, go to enter new BP & weight data, & poof, it is all empty again. And not just after an update, whenever. I think there should be a desktop app to sync via wifi with like my Splash Money.

Great start  rating of Kenkou
By: Thlewis - Jul 27, 2008
Version: 1.1
This program provides functionality I have wished for every since I bought my iPhone. The features listed for the 1.2 version add significantly to the usability. My only concern right now is the ability to restore the database to a different iPhone. This program certainly is not "crap" as one person would have us believe. It is a great program that I use daily. Good work!

Good software, great developer  rating of Kenkou
By: Dave. in SF - Jul 21, 2008
Version: 1.1
I highly recommend it as is and I'm certain it will get even better because the developer is very responsive and open to input. A very good app for tracking things that affect your health. A terrific bargain at twice the price, too.

Too many problems  rating of Kenkou
By: fox talbot - 14-Aug-2008
Version: 1.2
Originally I gave this software a 4 star rating - I've now been using it for 6 weeks and want to change my rating to a 1 star maximum. Kenkou crashes and freezes so regularly that I want to be compensated for all the time I've wasted.

No decimal point ?  rating of Kenkou
By: Frenchy_Ont - 29-Jul-2008

Very good if all your information you have to enter doesn't need a decimal point like glucose mmol always look like 7.5. So far so good.

Kenkou Responded  rating of Kenkou
By: kmmcgea - Sep 29, 2008
Version: 1.3
Developer has been very responsive to concerns about this App. I bought it and am waiting for the new versions to download. it has potential.

no instructions  rating of Kenkou
By: Elmo151 - Sep 16, 2008
Version: 1.3
lots of potential but needs work. instructions might be a good place to start.
For example, to enter your cholerserol readings there are two fields: Triglycerides (no explanation needed) and Cholesterol in the form a/b. I assume a=total; what is b?
there should be room for LDL and HDL; the app should compute the TOT/HDL ratio.

Worth the money  rating of Kenkou
By: Poge's Husband - Sep 16, 2008
Version: 1.1
I had a program on my Palm Pilot that was the best I have ever used, by Kalorie King. Not to have to carry a Palm & phone, this is good enough to track my "Numbers". Wish the graphs were more detailed with values on the X&Y axis.
