The combination of in-ear buds to block external noise and the internal white noise focus of 'medium thunder with heavy splatter' works a treat for me. The application has only three tracks and a simple but effective timer but still 5 stars as what's provided does the job.

I have this app as well as the rain sleepmaker and they are wonderful! Even if you just want to relax and calm down this is a BIG help. I listen to the tracks with low volume so it sounds like the storm is in the background. :)

Absolutely performs as advertized. If you have difficulty falling asleep this FREE app will definitely work for you . . . IF you LIKE the sound of a thunderstorm! Personal favorite is 'Gentle long rolls with lite rain'. Referred several family members who were having difficulty sleeping to this app, ALL LOVE IT!

I don't know about you, but I absolutely LOVE falling asleep to the sound of a thunderstorm outside my window. Now with this app I can replicate it whenever I want! The sounds are very calming and beautifully realistic, and that's just the free version. You gotta try this! I'm definitely buying the full version! P.S. This app works MUCH, MUCH better with in-ear headphones.
