Yes, buy it. Works great. Simple. Lovely. Peaceful. Nice.
Wish they would add a slideshow for each track rather than a single small pix. It would be nice if we could rotate our device to make the controls disappear to see a full screen image.
I wonder if they will allow us to purchase additional sound packs. I would buy them as the current ones are excellent quality. Would be great if you could make a playlist of desired tracks rather than choosing only one.
While the app is trivial to use, an online manual would be nice to ensure we are using all the features.

My 3rd buy from Freeverse, and it's as great as the rest! Before I start, let me explain a little: I just can't fall asleep in the night. I don't know what it is. I've always wanted one of those machines that play ambient sounds that help you sleep. I've put it off because they cost WAY too much. And this little app outdoes them ALL. First, it's chock-full of soothing sounds and pictures, more than the costly alternative. Second, it Isn't that hard to use. I just set the time and plug it into my iHome. This app is genius, and is a must-buy!

Puts me to sleep every time

This app is great for me. It has a train sound and it puts me to sleep every time. You see, when I was little my mother was a train conductor. She gave birth to me and raised me on a train and I used to listen to the tracks go by as I slowly fell asleep. When I turned 18 my mother told me it was time to experience the real non-railroad world and dropped me off at the next stop. I never saw her again. The real world is great but I often find myself longing for the gentle lull of the train. I had many sleepless nights until my friend told me to check out this app and I was pleasantly surprised! It sounds just like my childhood. Now I sleep like a baby! Thanks Freeverse!

Had a hard time finding a place to directly write to Freeverse but their site is all ads for other apps. Anywho, Tranquility is 1 of the nicest relax apps out there. Love the simplicity, dragging to another photo, & sound quality is STELLAR! Except 1 picture, since they're not titled all I can tell ya is it's the first picture, has no sound! Please update or some1 tell me how to fix this. I ALWAYS turn phone off after purchasing app then turn back on. This USUALLY works. Guys, this is a BEAUTIFUL app & I am 1 of those willing to wait a little longer for an app creator/writer to work out bugs BEFORE putting it out. I recomend this app highly WHEN FREEVERSE UPDATES IT. Don't put something out before it's ready, please. We ARE paying customers with a CONTRACT. Provide good product & customers are happy with purchase & keep comming back. Thx.

Enjoyable ambient sounds

Tranquility is a soothing collection of 18 different backgrounds and sounds. From city sounds to rain to white noise, you're likely to find something relaxing to listen to. The sounds are very well done and do not sound repetitive (which is a problem I've had with some other, similar programs in the past). The interface is simple with a play button and a configuration button. To change backgrounds (and, thus, sounds), just drag the current background off to the side. That's really all there is to it.
The one thing that I found a bit unfortunate is that there are multiple sounds that are extremely similar (such as a few different white noises) and it would be nice to be able to prevent some of them from showing up in the listing to have fewer things to scroll through. Other than that, I really don't have any issues with it.

Very well done with fine photos and EXTREMELY realistic sound (even with the small single speaker). This has the kind of quality in an App that I hoped for when the iPhone was opened up to independant developers. Good work and keep em coming.

Sound fixed for 2.2- just like that! Good selection of sounds, timer, has it all! I like the peaceful pictures accompanying each selection as well. A+ app- and for 99 cents, you can't lose.

Previously, I gave it a very bad review as it kept crashing on me (no matter where I touched in the app). Had to reboot my iPhone today, and after that, this app runs properly (no more crashes). Recommended.
