You want a iPhone, just call or go inside any Apple Store and order it. stop whining about the app crashing. you want to be the first to get one. then grow up and stop acting like a 10 year old, who just lost his ice cream.The app works as it should and if you don't like it, delete it!I'm believe this generation is going to grow up to be a slave to hype. and over board consumer buying. then wake up one day. broke and living on the street. cause they can't stop spending!You have a nice day now.

Listen, to all the people yelling at Apple, stop crying about not getting your iPhone 4 pre order. If you wanted it that bad, you either had to get up at 5:45 AM like me, or get extremely lucky, because so many people made pre orders, that Apple AND AT&T went down. 600,000 iPhone 4 pre orders were made. This app will nit be slow after all the hoopla is over. Calm down everyone, you will get your phone.

Crashed a few times in the morning because of the servers getting hit hard from iPhone 4 pre-order. People need to see beyond this day, and think of long term. This app is going to be fantastic. Easiest way to book genius bar reservations, and shop online. I was also able to get my iPhone 4 preorder through in a matter of a minute once apple and AT&T figures out the systems. Make the change to configure my machine and this app will be top top notch.

The app itself is solid, but the timing for releasing the app was very poor. The underwhelming ATT servers were quickly overwhelmed on iPhone 4 launch day, and the ensuing connectivity issues served to give the Apple Store app a disappointing debut. However, I must point that this app was the only way I was able to schedule a reservation for my iPhone 4, so the app has been a lifesaver for me.An iPad version is badly needed and desired.Lastly, ATT needs to GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER!Thanks.

After ~24 failed attempts to Reserve an iPhone 4 yesterday via Safari browser on a PC and a Mac, I saw an Apple Forum post about using the (new) Apple Store app store app. I downloaded and installed it, and in a single try, successfully - and QUICKLY - reserved a 16gb iPhone 4 for local stire pickup...wow!! Shortly thereafter, I got a confirmation email...everyone upgrading their current iPhone needs to use this app... =:o

I am revising my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars , since it has received very poor ratings for preordering the iPhone 4. I siuspect that reported preordering problems may be geographical. I easily  preorderd mine  in the Los Angeles metrpolitan area.  Include your area in your reviews for future reference. =============================I HAVE BEEN STANDING IN LINE AT THE IRVINE SPECTRUM APPLE STORE SINCE 9:20 A.M., AND I AM ONLY HALF WAY THERE AT 2:25 PM!!!. RIDICULOUS LONG LINE TO PICK OP A PREORDERED IPHONE 4.TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS, THE APPLE REPS RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON"T HAVE AN OUTSTANDING BALANCE ON YOUR ACCOUNT TO QUALIFY FOR THE UPGRADE!!! Worked for me on first try to reserve iPhone 4

This was the only way I could reserve an iPhone 4 today. AT&T and Apple's web sites were down or overwhelmed. This app let me right on through and I was able to reserve my iPhone 4 at my local store. AT&T servers were being wonky so while initially I was offered the $299 price, the final confirmation email said $699. I am going to have to be persistent when going to pick the phone up but that's not Apple's fault - more the fault of the swamped AT&T verification server. The process was very easy so I highly recommend this app.

If it wasn't for this app a lot of people would not be able to get their Iphone 4 ordered! I tried online and a ATT store and was turned away. Read about this online and had my phone ordered in five minutes! After ordering I kept shopping and like the site, but wish the descriptions on the devices were better. What I want is a little better sales pitch so I know everything about what I'm buying. Once again thank you Apple for getting this app out so people like me could get an Iphone without the waiting or hassle.

NOTE: This app is currently the ONLY place you can pre order an iPhone 4 through Apple. That alone makes it worth a download. Besides that it is a cute little app for shopping on the go or looking up the closest Apple store. You can even book appointments for the Genius Bar, One on One sessions, business consoltations, seminars and much more.Overall, no complaints here (and I haven't once experienced the crashing everyone is talking about). This app should come standard with every iPhone.

First off, people really need to stop giving bad reviews for stupid reasons. Today there was a major crash to all of apples and AT&T's servers due to te massive demand for iPhone 4. Don't write a bad review for this app not working when it wasn't an app problem, but a web server crash. Secondly, don't give a bad review because there isn't an ipad version. Apple is most likely bringing an ipad version but for now, there are more people with iPhones then ipads so it make total sense to release an iPhone version before. Not to mention for a little device like an iPhone should have an easy to use app vs. going through Safari. As far as this app is concern. It work great, it's smooth, and it's free. For that I gave it five stars.

This app saved my bacon when pre-ordering a new iPhone where AT&T failed. It took me two seconds to whip through the screens and reserve a phone. No crashes. No problems. I have received my confirmation email and now my only problem is finding the patience to wait a week for my new phone. Besides the ease of ordering, I have found this app very informative and useful for finding information about other Apple products and will no doubt use it with future purchases. Thank you Apple!

I LOVE APPLEI NEED THE IOS4 UPDATE OR ILL , HAVE A  AND ILL HAVE TO GET  BUT WHEN I GET THE IOS4, ILL BE SOOOO  ILL SAY OMG THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my iPod touch 8GB 2nd generation!!!!!!!!!!! My sister is going to big girl school and got a MacBook with a free Ipod touch and I'm like wow apple is so cool to make this and now at my house we have an iphone, 2 iPod touches, and a MacBook!!!!! Can't wait to get iTunes gift cards for my birthdayim gonna be  for iOS4! Oh yea great app just like doing it on a Mac/MacBook 

I didint have a problem going through the iPhone 4 pre order process but I did have a problem with not being able to pre order the white one. Hopefully that will be available soon. Anyway that's not because of the app. The app is awesome for a couple reasons. 1) I am a recurring apple customer and disliked using the data heavy apple store website. The app is quick and fully functional. 2) it's easy to make transactions all you need is your iTunes username and password and your ready to shop apple.3) this is also good for making reserations quickly so that you can plan , show up , set up , and get on all without the wait.4) it's free! I'd reccend this to anyone who has an iPhone iPod touch and browses the apple store. My only complaint is that there is no ipad version. An ipad version would be really great! But I'm sure there will be one to come.

There needs to be a way to anwser customer questions. I noticed there was a customer who asked a question about the credit card machine for the iPhone if u could send a recipt to a wifi printer and they said no but u can. From Any app you cam take a screen shot by pressing the home button and tapping the power then just open up the hp app and send it to your printer But other than that point that we should be able to help each other out it's a very well put togther app

I had been trying, unsuccessfully, since about 1am in the morning to pre-order my new iPhone 4. The apple and AT&T websites wouldn't work at all! At about 3:00am in the morning, i gave up. After two hours of failure, i decided to try again in the morning. When i woke up, i STILL experienced problems trying to pre-order the thing via Apple and AT&T. Until i saw someone on twitter mention this app. I downloaded it on my current iPhone...installed it...and boom. It worked like a charm. I don't know exactly why it's giving other people problems. But i was able to finally, after hours of trying, get a reservation for my new iPhone 4, to be picked up on launch day at my local Apple store. I'm extremely happy. I say be patient and give this app a try. Especially if you're having a hard time pre-ording the new phone right now via the websites.

Guys, if you are having trouble with the app crashes continuously, try delete the app from your iPhone and reinstall it. Or download it wirelessly on your iPhone using the built-in App Store.If none don't work for you, try rebooting your iPhone and launch the app again. If not, wait until Apple release the patch. Do understand that Apple is in a hurry of doing things lately, even the Safari 5 doesn't seem to work fine. So, be patient! :D

Great job guys i love this app , put it right on my front screen . The only thing missing is the ability to check my Order Status and i also noticed there is no itunes gift card , hope these are included in the next update . For those who are having crashing problems it's because of the high volume of iPhone 4 pre-orders even the main Apple online store and At&t online store are crashing and having problems too , i reserved my iphone4 and purchase a bumper using the app.

This app was really usefull and I used It on my 8gb iPhone 3G to order the iPhone 4 and it was quick and easy and has a great interface and I really have no complaints. To the people that say it's slow it must be their phone or their connection because the app was really smooth and didn't freeze or crash and I didn't have to wait fo anything to load it was all touch and go. I highly recommend this app but it can get addicting and expensive!
