I love this app. been using it since it launched. It is by far the best one out there. i've tried them all. It's not just a wine log - but a powerful search engine. And i have to say, Drync is the ONLY one that consistently finds the exact wine i am looking for. love the new features. it is SOOO much faster!! almost instantaneous! And i love the cellar filtering and editing features - you make it so easy to do. Serously, this app blows away all the others out there. It's the only one to have. Keep it up Drync! Can't wait to see what you do next!

I'm not sure what happened with the last version... it was SLOW. It had some cool new features, but the speed issue made it a big disappointment. I got in touch with the Drync guys about it and they assured me they were going to fix it.
And clearly they did. I just downloaded this new version (v2.1) and it's MUCH faster. The search is faster. The pages load faster. Moving between pages is even faster. Thanks guys!

I gotta admit, I'm not much of a wine connoisseur, so I got this app on a whim when a friend recommended it. I've used this app so much in the past couple of weeks, I don't know how I got around without it. I've already saved about a dozen wines that I've really liked, and its helped me find new stuff that I never would have found otherwise. If you aren't a wine expert, this app will help you find and remember the wines you love. If you are a wine expert, I can't imagine there is any app you'd use more day to day.

I had a couple of issues with the app and sent in some feedback (several times) and got replies within minutes. Great responsiveness wins BIG points with me. Glad to see they really want to tailor this to wine lovers.
I love using this when I am wine shopping and see wines at the local Grocery outlet at an amazing sale price. Sometimes the sale is because the wine is a bad vintage, sometimes it is just a smoking deal. I can easily look up review with this app in seconds, and know if it is a good buy. GREAT TO HAVE !!!!

This is the first review I wave written and I am glad that it is a possitive one. This is going to be one of my favorite apps on my phone. I am a true wine lover and a fairly sophisticated buyer so I figured I would test this app with several wines that I have in my cellar that are very hard to find. It hit every one. I would have been impressed if you had found just two if them. I would like to see three things added to this app. First the ability to arrange cellar and searches by type-region-vintage-price etc. I would love to be able to perform a search for 2003 howell mountain zins or 2006 napa cabs. The second thing I would like to see is the ability to add wines that you don't have. Finally maybe a dashboard that would be able to see other users notes and impressions. Keep up the good work. I am thrilled with this app. GM

This application is actually useful. I love wine, but I'm not a conoisseur, so when I'm handed a wine list I don't know what to expect. I've used it twice now to look up the wines on the menu that i'm interested in and find out how they rate. The wait staff can offer guidance, but they often don't have a clue. This application also solves my other problem which is when I go out and find a wine that I really like, I can easily record the information and my impressions. Over the years i've had many exceptional wines. Wines which I would have ordered, had I been in posession of the proper information. Also, somebody knew what they were doing when they designed this application. It focuses on the essential and leaves out the rest. The screens are well designed and the flow between them is logical and works well. Kudos to drync, whoever you guys are.

Great first Drync App, but now I want more (Drync Beer, Drync Scotch)

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this app. Then again - I expect greatness from a five dollar app. I wouldn't have bought it if not for the recommendation of a friend as it exceeds my 2 dollar cost limit. I am giving this five stars not because of where it is today, but where I see it going. This app is well designed, easy to use and useful to even the occassional wine drinker like myself. Once photos are in, more detailed reviews, and recommendations this will be my go to wine app. But I don't want to stop at wine. I am more of a beer and scotch guy so I see the need for Drync Beer and Drync Scotch. Of course, once those are in place, how about some that appeal to the college crowd - Drync 40's, Drync Wine Coolers (for the ladies of course), and Drync Mad Dog 20/20 :)

great, simple app

This is really a great, super-simple app, I like how easy it is to search and save wines to my cellar. Then when I need to pick up a bottle on my way to a dinner party I can simply launch drync, look through my cellar, find a wine I liked and purchase it at the store. When I'm saving a wine the abiity to see the label makes it much easier in the search to scan for the exact one I'm looking for. Being able to recall the label design also makes it easier when looking for the wine on the shelf in the store or when I need to ask the store associate for help. I'd love to see the ability to take a photo and add it to a wine I am saving. I'd also love to see a version of this app for beer.

I found the lite version pretty good, but then ran out of bottle space - the lite version gives you 10 wines (I think). Upgraded to the pro version, and it found my 10 wine lite library and imported them, and it is working really well. It has even found an Australian wine I didn't know existed - Shotfire Ridge 2003 Quartage. It looks like they have improved the number of Australian wines available.
Sometimes a specific year of a variety is not available, but you can choose the variety, and just change the year.
Nice thing about this app, is that it works with the iPod Touch - it doesn't keep the labels if you are off line, but it keeps everything else.
One enhancement I'd like, is ability to rate a wine 3.5 - it has a rating system of 0 to 5 bottles, but no option of a 1/2 bottle.
Otherwise - a great application, and seems to find Australian wines now. Well Done.

Im just a casual wine drinker, no large wine cellar or such. this has proven to be the best program I have tried so far. Its search function works great and most common wines and all of the more exspensive wines I have purchased were located. It has a pleasing interface and look and works smoothly, no lockup or freezes like another well known popular wine program. I rate this 4 out of 5 only because I reserve 5 for perfection, and although I have no complaints there is always room for improvement

Sorry naysayers, I must defend this app and be bold enough to go against the negative reviewers who, say, try it for 15 entire minutes before deleting. Yeah, I had trouble finding some of my wines at first, but I kept trying and now have great results. I'm just a wine lover with an iPhone looking for the best app I could find that brought the two together. I paid the 4.99 that they were asking earlier and I still feel this to be the best wine app out there. I use this and the Wine Card app for vintage info.

Drync Wine is a great IPhone Wine app with great UI. It one of my favorite wine app. it's very professional and it's a great way too learn about wines. you can add them to your cellar if you like the wines u see. it also has Twitter integrated. you can do notes to add your own wine. and you can buy wine buy click the url link. I really like the start up wallpaper of Drync Wine and it's Icon. the downside is that you can't currently view wines that you added to your cellar, no images no text. i just hope it could work offline a bit. or some kind build-in info. it get all the info from the web, which i don't like. and it also lacks the visual effect like another wine app "Cellar".
one thing i can assure u is that the developer of Drync Wine is a very nice person.

This is a fun little app. If you are a wine lover you will enjoy this. Started my cellar based on some recent tastings, emailed a recommendation to a friend, and tweeted my current selection to Twitter. Cool! Had some challenges setting up Twitter but emailed the developer, who responded promptly (note: you need to go under your main settings to enable Twitter access). This may even replace my beloved wine diary! Only thing I am missing is the ability to add new wines to my cellar that aren't in the database. For example if you are adding notes on a wine under 'quick notes' you cannot save to your cellar if the wine is not found. Apparently custom entry of new wines can be expected as a free upgrade shortly.

Where have you been all my iPhone life? Just 5 minutes in and I've recorded my top 3 wines-- one of them a very limited reserve from a small CA winery. Love it! No more soaking bottles to save the labels. Killer app!

I love it! My previous gripes have been fixed - the app and searching is much faster, there are more reviews, i can edit the different wine attributes, i can filter my cellar. Thank you Drync team for listening!!

This app is fantastic and gets the job done. I have had none of the problems reported by other reviewers. It is extremely well thought out and easy to use. Every wine I've searched for has been in the database and I have added my entire cellar to drync. When I try a wine I like, stick it in drync.

A must have for any foodie

This app is a must have, whether you're an occasional drinker or a connoisseur. I've both chosen great wines from a restaurant wine list, and captured wines I've liked for later.
Was on the fence buying this one (I paid more for it,) but it's become one of my faves.

The first thing I did when I started Drync Wine for the first time was search for an obscure wine I had found back in the 90's but haven't seen since. Drync Wine found it in several seconds! I was hooked. Great features and note logging. It's intuitive and fast. This is a perfect iApp for everyone into wine at any level. I highly recommend it.
