UK Store keeps changing to US

its a great app, lets me view what im selling and buying etc, gives you detailed information and quickly and efficiently, although,
there is one major problem, when ever i click the home button do something else and then click on the ebay icon it says that based on my region settings etc you have been redrected to the US site version, which is annoying as it displays everything in $ and i have to change it back to UK every time!
sort it out ebay apart from that brilliant app

The main eBay search functions are screwed up -- the app uses them. Try again later when the site is fixed. This thing is awesome. Buy It Now also works, it's just items using immediate payment that you can't buy, but I know they are working on changing that soon. To watch an item use the button in the upper right corner of the item page. To view sellers other items, click on the seller info on the item page then you will see a link to it. I love this thing, just play around a bit. Best offer eons. I also love calling customer support directly if I need to!

I love it, it's almost perfect now everything works for me including paying for items directly from inside the app, page viewed counter brilliant, the guys at eBay listened and have added quite a few things I asked for excellent, love the sharing option (Facebook etc...) All I need now is push notifications for messages from inside the app, and invoice options for customers then I could practically run my eBay shop from my phone. This is one of the best apps there is, if not the best if you sell on eBay then you need this app. 

I read a couple other reviews on here complaining about the lack of options for this app. No, this app will not let you see a sellers other items, but it will give you a fast and nice looking interface with which to monitor current bids, re-bid if you are out bid, or search for new things to bid on. I really can't say how it is for selling things, I don't really sell anything on ebay. I do buy WAY more than I should, so if it makes me happy, it will probably make you (as a buyer) happy.

New update is great. Suggestions: 1. Change color of search bar and the new grey toolbar. Doesn't fit eBay theme 2. Would be nice if we could now delete messages while looking at our inbox list instead of having to tediously go into every message to delete them. 3. How bout more features for sellers. This app is fantastic if you wanna buy something but not is much effort is shown for the seller side. We should be able to put a basic listing up right from the phone. Take pictures with a camera button or upload from roll. Think about this. It would be a knock out.

I used this app on my iPod Touch and is one of the reasons I decided to buy an iPhone (this way I could access the app even when I wasn't online via Wi-Fi). It is help as both a seller and a buyer. I love being able to see exactly how my current auctions are going. Having full access to your watching list is great. I was surprised to see some of the reviews that complain about some features you can't access but this is an App, not the website. This app lets you do all the basics and even lets you access messages or contact sellers/buyers.

This app works perfectly, seldom crashes, and is faster than going directly to the site. If a couple features could be added, it would make going to the website on my iPhone obsolete. The features that it doesn't have but should is 1) the ability to set a default auction type (ie ending soonest) 2) The ability to look at seller feedback comments 3)The ability to click on "more items from this seller" or a link to the seller's store, and 4) make bid assistant available. If hose things get added, it should get six stars! 

it is so ease to keep track of what I an buying and selling. I use the iPod timer when I have an auction ending when I am on the go otherwise I would just use my iMac. It does have a few problems, push notifactions informs you about all ending that you are watching and you can't revise, retract, or change an auction. Which is ok because I rarely have to do that. I think that the iphone and ipod touch ate revolutinary devices that truly have a big impact on the world. I know I can't live without mine. 

This is one great app! Very fast and simple to use. After waking up the first thing I do is grab my phone hit ebay to do a quick check on my watch list! Quicker than going downstairs and firing up my desktop! If nothing urgent I crawl out of bed and hit the shower! When I am on the road I have no time to search ebay anyway so not sure how that part works. All I need to do is keep eye on my "watching" and "won" list. If I need to I can place a bid on the road which is very easy. When I am back home I can do all the searching I want then. Just love it not to mention it's free!! Does it get any better! : )

This app is absolutely perfect. For all the stupid people out there, this eBay app can support many countries, so if you select USA, you will get listings from that country, to change, click on the little "i" when you start up the app, please people who gave this a low rating, change it, because you obvisously don't know what you are doing ! Pros : everything, not a damn problem at all Cons : nothing that I can see, I just love this app Overall : get this app, there's nothing more better than a app of which you could buy things at the last minute and frusterate other bidders when they are at work ;)

I love this for quickly keeping tabs on how my items for sale are doing, number of watchers etc. Not being able to pay for an item you win is a drawback and I don't think searching returns all the items you get from the desktop. A feature request I would want to see is how many messages you have, not necessarily to read them but just to know I have new ones so I can make a point of checking them from the desktop. As a free app it is excellent and not overly fussy.

I love this application; it immediately gives a dashboard of all the items I am watching, selling or have bought. As a seller it's a two touch process now to see my items, how many watchers there are, the current sale price and how long until the auction ends. It's actually quicker than loading up a web browser and logging in to the eBay site. As a buyer it lets you search, watch, bid... even get down into details like a seller's feedback profile. Highly recommended for eBay users.

Update 11/5/09 I've noticed lately that everytime I close out of the eBay app and later come back to it I've been signed out. It's not a deterrent for me, but it is annoying, please fix.ThanksNot bad on the update. I would like to see the ability to create listings on the go. The craigslist mobile app let's you. Also I would like to see what people wrote in the feedback section, not just how much feedback you have.Thanks

The app looks and feels good when it works and you'll now not need your mac/pc! E:Mail functions now work, no more error pop ups appear when you try and send your message to ebayers... as very clever eBay app technicians have appeared to have fixed it without launching an immediate update via apple apps.. congratulations you clever people. 5  now given due to this beautiful app being extremely addictive 

Good job on the update, this is the only app I have on my phone that I use everyday, the messeging is a wellcome addition, just a few tips for some of the users bellow. 1 when you install or update an app on your iPhone, restart the phone to clear out the cache, the data contained here can conflict with newer data loaded, you should do this before you start the new/updated app. 2 occationally restart the phone, at least once a week, you wouldnt leave a pc on 24/7 and not expect any error. 3 for the user asking about the post/zip code, I believe when you use it once on the ebay site it is associated with your account. Well done again for another great update!

Latest review: Ok so I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it looks completely different! It used to be all yellow and the layout was different, now it's silver and has newer features! Everything works better now though. Changing my review to 5 stars. Updated review 6/27/09: Keeps crashing back to the home screen every time it loads a search! Please fix this! It's unusable now! I restarted and it still crashes! Original review earlier this year: I was using this app to bid on some things and it kept giving me errors when I placed a bid. All of a sudden I got emails saying I won two of the same, really expensive, things!! I'm deleting this app after I post this review!

Using this app, ebay on iphone is far more manageable and streamlined than ebay on my PC. There is one issue I wish you could address, however. 'Watch', 'buy', 'question' and 'message' tags are emailed through the PC and because ebay sends so many updates and alerts on bidding, these pile up and become a nuisance on the PC. Once removed from the PC they still need to be deleted from every iphone connected to our email address. Is there a way to keep all iphone ebay email contained to the iphone actually used for ebay?

This is a great app to have on the go. I use Ebay a lot. Although I wouldn't use it for selling like most people say would. I'd prefer to use my computer for that so I can actually upload some good pictures and go about the listing process. It may be convenient on the phone but it's honestly less hassle on a computer.
I like all the other things that come with the app. Like, checking MyEbay at a glance and being able to search for items in the go. I can see why some people would complain but I think people these days tend to ask for too much. It's good enough for me and the things I use Ebay for. If you want the entire Ebay experience use your computer ;)

At last this app has arrived in the UK, but many people are saying its rubbish / pointless but i beg to differ!
Someone said you cant pay for items through paypal since it does not redirect you, but for me, knowing i can track the progress of bidding wars and then knowing i have won the item is great!
If people cant wait to get home to finish the transaction, well...i think thats just crazy!
Think of the app as a progress tool or tracking tool just to keep up to date what you HAVE won or maybe lost, cause for this its spot on!
I have also not been affected with these logging in issues people are having. Maybe its just luck!
For a free and easy to use app, i think its well worth installing............what do you have to lose??
