This is very comprehensive, most beers have bottle pictures and brewer info. Mine has never crashed, and it works well. If you like beer, spend a buck, it's worth it.

The list of beer is extensive. The info on each beer isn't much but at least it has ABV. However it keeps crashing after about 2 minutes of use. There is a search option but each time i've tired to search it freezes. It they fix the bugs this could be a great app

This app worked fine and I was very pleased with it. Until, that is, the last update. Since the last update my ipod touch tries and fails to update this app everytime I turn it on and hit the app icon which is annoying leading me to have to delete it - what did you do? Im sure its not my touch as every other app works and updates fine!

Here's what's keeping this from 5 (or yes, even 6!!) stars. Crashes too much. At first, it was only when submitting beer reviews. Then it started to happen when I pressed search or back or just about anything. Also, please widen the Sam Adams selections. They have a delicious product line expanding far beyond Oktoberfest. And take out bud light. (I'm only half-joking). Seriously this is beer drinkers app! Anyway, overall this app rocks. Bout time Czech beers get some love...England, well represented...keep up the good work guys. This is a 5-star app w/o the crashes

Lack of canadian beers... Can't even find keiths or rickards... It has potential though. Good if you want to try European beers you may not have discovered otherwise.

I've been looking for something like this. It's a nice start but needs some work. My version (an update) still crashes! The info isn't always accurate and only a few beers from a brewery may be listed. Lots of really popular beers are missing!! Would also be nice to have ratings (maybe from Michael Jackson) or sync with a website like Beer Advocate. When I'm out buying beer, I want more info than just what's already printed on the box. If I'm dropping $50 on a case of beer to try, I'd like to know if it's any good. There are wine apps like this but nothing yet for beer!!!! Maybe an easy solution would be to add beers to TRY like the app does with favorites. At least then when I hear (or read) of some beer of some beer I'd like to try, I could use this app for something other than to see that it comes in a 12 ounce bottle or has 5% ABV.
Could be good, info seems very good, but crashes before I can read any of it...

This has potential, because from what I've seen of the information entries, they're pretty good. It would be nice to have a comprehensive beer encyclopedia at my fingertips when I go to a store and find a beer I haven't heard of. (Needless to say, I like to find new beers to try.) But the program crashes almost instantly. I haven't been able to use it for more than about thirty seconds before it blips off. Scrolling, I can't get down past the E section before it's gone. Searching, I might get to an actual entry, but again, it's gone before I can read anything.
It's one of the few times I've been tempted to ask for a refund, simply because the program is unusable right now.
Hopefully, the developer will take a look at this and consider updating and fixing the bugs in the app.

I looked up Bass Pale Ale. It says "type of beer unknown." It says pale ale on the bottle. The app says 11.2 ounces. Again, 12 ounces, right there on the bottle. The app says 0 alcohol content. Pretty sure that's wrong. I tried to look up something else, and the app crashed. Worthless.

There are too many mistakes in this app. Miller high life has 0 alcohol content? I would rather have less beers listed and have them correct than have thousands listed with mistakes. Don't waste your money.
