Not only can you view all of your favorite recipes & chefs, but there's also great utility to this app (kitchen timer, unit conversion etc.). If you have an iPad, the experience only gets better. Great work Food Network!

I was worried when I saw the review about the search issue, but looks like it's fixed. FINALLY I can access My Recipe Box with my apple devices. Shopping list that works offline is amazingly helpful for my grocery store that won't allow me to make a phone call. Way to go Food Network. I expect improvements soon. Unit converter could be better. Expecting video! All in all great first step!

For some reason if you start up the app the first time on 3g it wont start. Even a reboot didn't help; switching to Wifi solved the problem. Now works on 3G.Other wise this is a great recipe app. The only thing I don't like is you need to create an account to save recipes. -1 star for this.
Many flaws

This app would be so great if the recipes had completed instructions. Some don't have any at all.I "love" FN & I'm an avid fan, but disappointed that this app has so so many flaws... When I scroll the recipes & find 1 I like & want 2 view ingredients or the directions on preparation, then tap 2 go back, I have 2 "re-scroll" the entire list just 2 get back 2 where I was again. So annoying. Please fix.... TIP: proof read the "instructions", a lot of them aren't completed & just leave u hanging on what 2 do next, & quite a few don't have ANY instructions on how 2 prepare the recipe. I have NEVER gave a bad review, but there are so many flaws in the recipes that I had 2 in hopes the developers will fix them... Also agree with the other comments, "Signing in 2 save & view recipes". Yuck!!Will change rating when fixed

One small flaw in design is: I touch a recipe the one above it shows up instead.e.g. pancakes- eggs.I want to see 'eggs' and but 'pancakes' shows up. Petty, I know, but I did pay 99 cents; I expect near perfection if I pay for an app.Otherwise ok, but not awesome status for me. I love the all the chefs & cooks, past and present.Alton: you ROCK! You should have your own app. You too, Emeril.

For a food network app with recipes! I've been waiting for it & was so overjoyed to see it. However, it is rather buggy. The app closes down when I log in, doesn't hold my log in so if I save something it asks me log in again, the search function is not great & the app is slow. Please fix!
