Description:
Note: A portion of the proceeds from the sales of this App go to the ASPCA: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. This software is compatible with iPhone software version 2.0-3.0 We all love our pets and would hate for anything bad to happen to them. Hopefully you will live your lifetime without ever seeing your little friend in pain, but just in case something happens, you should be prepared with information on how to care for them in an emergency. Also included is a list of things to make your own Pet First Aid Kit... This is a very comprehensive guide that should be all you need to confidently care for your pets. This iPhone-iPod Touch software contains information on caring for Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, and other pets. It is a guide that will enable you, at a moments notice, to know exactly what to do in any emergency situation. It also contains general day-to-day care information. In addition, this application contains an innovative "Find A Vet!" feature that uses the GPS capabilities of the iPhone to determine your location and instantly find a local Veterinarian to care for your pet in the event you need to find a Vet quickly. We here at Phantom Particle Software created this application because we found there to be a disturbing lack of information in the App Store on how to care for the pets that we love so dearly. We hope you find the information useful and take comfort knowing that and you will be prepared to care for your pet if anything ever happens. Lots of people love this software, and we're sure you will too! Also available from Phantom Particle: Medical Terminology and Abbreviations Quick Reference. Impressed by the bredth of information By: dbrown0690 - Mar 20, 2009 Version: 1.0 I am one of those people who have had just about every type of pet. From iguana to chinchilla to fish, not to mention the typical, cuddly pets. I only wish I'd had a comprehensive as well as concise reference back then. The Vet finder is also very welcome as we vacation with our dogs and never know when one might have a crisis. Definitely worth the small price. Highly recommended if you currently own a pet or or thinking of adopting one for your home.
Bought this months ago, actually used it today! By: aa1020 - Jun 21, 2009 Version: 1.0 An app that comes through
Great for emergencies By: Scarlet47 - Apr 9, 2009 Version: 1.0 Wonderful to be able to access emergency vet clinics on the spot--I've been in a situation before when I found an injured animal in the middle of the night and couldn't find a place to take him. Wish I'd had this then!
A must have By: Ammea - Mar 24, 2009 Version: 1.0 Anyone with an animal companion should get this. It goes to a good cause, and aids you in any ailment your animal friend may have. The only thing is I can't seem to get the vet finder to work. It says I'm not connected to the network? Any ideas why?
Really spectacular! By: Liquidhandle - Mar 23, 2009 Version: 1.0 I love this app! And so does my dog Rufus! For 2 bucks you get a constant companion that could help your little friend at a time of need.
Great Job!!!!!!! By: preciousdaisygirl - Mar 22, 2009 Version: 1.0 Excellent work and congratulations on the development of this application. It was time that someone paid attention to pet lover's needs. Both me and Tobyboy ( my pet pommeranian) thank you.

A Handy Thing To Have Around.... By: ScrubbedOne - Mar 17, 2009 Version: 1.0 This is one of those Apps that I'm going to appreciate having someday.. much like the "level" app, though I may not use it daily, it does fill a very niche need that someday.. I may just need.. ESP. with my dog.. who eats everything and gets into trouble all of the time.. Doggie first aid on demand..... Well worth it..
well done By: MedStudentGuy - Mar 17, 2009 Version: 1.0 Got this app for my son because he wants a dog. Now he's learning all about how to care for it before we even buy one. Great idea!
AWESOME APP By: Feif27 - Mar 17, 2009 Version: 1.0 This is really helpful for anyone who is trying to take care of a pet with limited time! I really did choose to ignore what pH balance was all about but thanks to the little summary here I am sure I can now keep my fish from ending up (as they were doing so often) in an early demise to the NYC sewer system. They and I thank this app!
Positively Wonderful! A must have for all pet lovers! By: robnpat333 - Mar 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 The first thing my wife and I did was start building our own Pet First Aid Kit! Then we discovered the, "Find A Vet" feature and the worries of traveling with our two dogs vanished! We can now quickly choose a vet from a list of local providers with a single touch! Great Job! Thanks! Rob, Pat, Bosco and Sugar.
suprisingly useful!!! By: Piratebroadcast - Mar 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 not just another throwaway app!!! my wife and I were pleasantly pleased.... very useful information.
Meh By: Kittiedogma - Apr 5, 2009 Version: 1.0 This is not a very good resource. There is no information about common health issues for cats like symptoms of nausea or kidney problems. I also didn't see anything about hotspots on dogs or other common dog issues. I think I know to call the vet in an emergency. I should not have paid for an app to tell me that.
No good By: Denise 69 - 12-Apr-2009 Version: 1.0 Extremely limited info
Hamsters. By: BuffaloRules! - Jul 3, 2009 Version: 1.0 The app says that it includes information on hamsters. It doesn't. There are only 2 diseases listed under the rodents category. Wettail isn't even included. Please update this app with more information on hamster and it would be nice if te app included a nutritional chart and feeding schedual.
