Amazingly helpful app

My wife and I just had our first child last week. I am not sure how this week would have gone without it. Being able to keep track of the feedings and subsequent output helped us with our dr. visits and stay ahead of some disconcerting weight loss. Logging all the info is so easy and is a life saver for the sleep deprived. My only desire would be able to change the format of email export from HTML to .csv. Amazing app, thank you thank you thank you.

Being new parents for the first time, the first night at home was killer, and trying to write down start and stop times while your eyes are practically shut was agonizing. That morning, I immediately look for a technical solution and reviewed a bunch of them. From what I can see and read without demos, Total Baby took the cake. So I downloaded, and showed my wife after timing her for nursing. She was hooked. In fact, we impressed the pediatrician when we were able to talk about total feeding time and pattern at night. Hands down the worth the money paid for. The only suggestions I made is to have multi-iphone support and printable reports for the doctor.

Wow! This is the best app I have on my phone. This is an all in one application. As a new mom of twins, I love having all the important info in one spot. Any mom would love this app for organizing life! I can barely remember my last name, forget the last time the twins ate ... and how much?!? This application allows me to not only track feeding amounts for each twin, but if I nurse together, I can time them together. I love it!! Timing the feeding is just the beginning, you can put everything on here. I do mean everything. Just look at the developers website for a quick instructional video. This app is way cool. Also, I am so impressed with the technical support. I had a question on how to enter an item and received an answer quickly. This app is worth every penny - anything that makes a new mom's life easier is priceless :)

Seriously a great application! I love how it is all in one! Perfect. I needed a good baby tracker and downloaded many! But nothing compares. I do however prefer the graphics that are like the diaper and nursing tracker. The logos of those apps would look great integrated into this app. The subtle baby colors of those are great and not overly done. Anyways, this is the only baby tracker you'll ever need!

Overall, this app is amazing. It keeps track of everything, which is fantastic when you're completely sleep deprived and taking care of a newborn. The app remains useful with an older baby, although I've stopped using the diaper meter, and never used the sleep timer in the first place.
One issue, though: when using the breastfeeding timer, it takes four keystrokes to save the session. There's really no need for that (any changes to the session can be added by editing the entry, and starting with the other breast would require a keystroke anyway). I really wish breastfeeding sessions could be saved with a single keystroke. Developers, if you're reading this, please update!!

This app is what you need if you are any type of serious tech person. Even novice users like grandparents can pick up this app in no time. Our baby has "own" iTouch just to run this app. It "lives" with her and no matter who is watching her or taking care of her they enter the data and help us keep track of each feeding, diaper change, nap and bath. It's great. No more sloppy notes being passed around or incomplete reports from the nanny when they can't remember "exactly" when baby last ate or how long she's been asleep.
In short a must have and an amazing deal. Less than $5 for your most precious "ASSET" in the house.

I love this app! When my little girl was born (August 24, 2009) I started recording her feedings and diapers in a notebook and used the timer on my iPhone. I tried other baby tracking apps but they were not good. In the middle of the night while nursing I found ANDESigned's Nursing and Diapering apps and fell in love instantly. The next morning while writing a review for those two I found this app. Finally something that works perfectly! My phone died the other day and I was without my charger. I had to resort to pen and paper and was not happy. Really missed my app. Thanks for a great product!!! Every new mom needs this app!

This is a super impressive app clearly written by someone who has been there and done it all by hand. I'll be recommending it to all my friends who are having kids. We've been using a notebook for recording and one day was planning to put it all on excel but this exports directly. WOW!
Only suggestion for future update from my wife would be an alarm or reminder when the average time between feeds is approaching. Well done!

I have 12 day old twins and this app is a godsend! Very easy to use. Data very accessible & I can tell my midwife & the child health nurse EXACTLY how many nappies and types of nappies, & feeds and length of time & any supplemental EBM given & whether they took it. Plus other things can be tracked - i am not yet using the full functionality of the app. Until 4 days ago I was hazy about these details - who did what & when,
This app possibly saved us from a post natal admission to hospital due to weight loss of one baby. Because the medical staff could see precisely what was going on with feeding times and length of feeds & supplemental feeds, (from my use of the app) they were able to advise me on what changes to make and how so that we could stay at home.
The developer is very responsive, I had an almost immediate response to an email I sent suggesting a minor potential improvement.
I paid $9 for this app and even thou it's currently listed less than that price, I don't care as now I know how well spent that money was.

I love it! I bought I Bear Baby and it crashes often, and then I found this and it is Great! I would only like to have growth charts to see how my baby and preschooler are doing. They have great support, I e-mailed late at night and they answered promptly. If you want growth charts as I do write to them, because they update on demand and right now not many people have asked for them. :(. I highly recommend it!

I love this app! It does everything I need plus way more. I had purchased another similar app after the birth of my son and found after a couple of weeks of using it that it was missing some key things, not that user friendly and always loosing my timers. I wish that I had just purchased Total Baby to begin with because it is the best! If you are currently checking out all the baby tracking apps out there STOP and just get Total Baby! I was mainly looking for something to track nursing, diapers and sleep but I now love the milestones, diary and other additional features Total Baby has to offer. Fabulous app, thanks!!

I just got my itouch a few days ago and found it was great to have while nursing. I also want to do some sleep training and needed to keep a log so got this app. I am loving how I can keep track of nursing and sleeping with positions, locations and any notes. It is super east and you can track multiple activities or kids simultaneously. You can also track baths, diapers, vaccines, growth or anything else you want to add. I just wish I had this from day one with all my children!

I bought this app shortly before giving birth to my 4th child. I wish I had had it (and the iPhone) when I had my other children. Keeping track of the baby's feeding and pooping/peeing schedule while in the hospital was a breeze with this app, and since the nurses were always asking me the last time the baby ate and for how long, I could easily pull up the info on the app. Several nurses were really impressed with the app and thought it was a great idea. This app was also very useful for when I was in labor in the car on the way to the hospital. I just had the app on and could time my contractions so when I got to the hospital I had a log of exactly how long each contraction was and how far apart they were. I haven't used the app since I left the hospital, but it was well woth the $5 for the first few days of having the baby.

We just had our first child and this app has made things much easier. Keeping track of feedings, diaper changed and sleep is important in the first weeks of you childs life. I would reccomend to all néw parents.
One thing that would improve the app is if you could get it on both phones for 4.99 and could sync for both parents. My wife and I are not always together, and this would keep us updated.

I don't often write reviews of apps but have had such a good experience with this one that I'm motivated to tell others how great it is! I have a new baby, and this has allowed my husband and me to accurately track his feedings, diapers, baths, etc. Very helpful to have in one place when making early visits to the pediatrician. I can't say enough good things about the functionality and intuitiveness of this app!

I was using another Baby application and my friend told me about Total Baby. I downloaded it not expecting it to be that much better than the one I was using, boy was I wrong. This app blew my previous one out of the water. It does so much and so easy to use, I wish I had found this one first, as it would have saved me some money and time. Do yourself a favor and buy this one, there is no need to look any further it's TOTALLY AMAZING.

I can't say enough good things about this app. It was just what I needed. No more having to make sure I have a pencil and paper handy or trying to do math in my sleep-deprived state! This app does it all! Through no fault of the app, I lost all my data. I was devastated. The author of the program worked very hard with me (even offering to call my home) to try to get my data back! 5 stars all round! Best $5 I ever spent.

When my baby was born, she had to have surgery immediately. She spent almost 3 weeks in the intensive care unit, and while she was there, I was able to keep track of her feedings and diapers using this app. The nurses of course all had this information, but it was great to also have it myself, so that I could get to know my baby's habits right away. Being able to retroactively enter information has been most helpful. I also use the app to keep track of when I give her her daily vitamin, and to mark the day that we were finally able to bring her home. At first I thought that remembering to use the app would be a hassle, but it's been easy, since I keep my iPhone with me. I'm still discovering all that it offers, but I am very pleased with it so far.

This is by far the best baby diary/timer/sanity-helper tool for new parents with newborn. My wife gave birth 5 days ago and this app has been beyond fanastic. Timets work perfectly, even in background with app closed Easy for wife to jump right in a use. Wi-fi sync/backup works great with my iPhone and hers. Email export formats into a very easy to read table imbedded into the email so Excel not needed to review.
I would give 6 stars in possible.
Devs - please do not screw this app with a broken update. It is great right now.

Haven't tried any other baby logging apps but this one is really great. My wife is very excited about this app. We were previously recording just the feedings and the eliminations on a paper sheet for each day.
The app's design and interface are very good. It was a bit confusing originally when you get routed into the diary area but it only takes a few minutes poking around to get the hang of where everything is. I'll chime in with what everyone else is suggesting and just wish that there was some sort of sync between more than one device. That feature would make this app perfect. I'd be willing to deal with having the data on a cloud if it meant that I didn't have to do manually update one device to the other along with the possibility of accidentally overwriting some events.
