So anybody can get it! You can also shut off your ipod without exiting the boombox by just clicking the top button on your iPod Touch or IPhone.By doing this you can save your battery on your iPod/ iPhone.You save your battery by not using as much light on your screen. This awsome app is so great! You can search music and you can listen to the whole song. It does have some bugs but it is still worth getting. The reason I love it is because I play the drums and I have an electric drum set so I plug my iPod touch into the drums and I can play to the music that I am listening to. This application is not a waste of time getting, it is the greatest music app ever. The only thing I wish they would fix is when search for the song I want to play it, sometimes it says: This track can not be played. And I don't get that. This is great for people who want to listen to music legally and without spending a buck a song. I think the freedom this app gives overcomes the multiple crashes. Plus, think of the bandwidth everyone is using by listening to music. There is a cap to the amount of people doing one thing at one place. So the server will boot a few people off because it is overloading. I'm going to stop now before I take up an entire page of a review.

this is coming from someone who never does this because i haven't found an app this usefull yet. this app is a huge help to me when i am considering buying a song on itunes, I get to hear the whole song instead of 30 second preview. in the past hour, i listened many majority of artists including the eagles, Bruce springsteen, eminem, lil wayne, and aerosmith. i would strongly encourage anyone to get this app, after all... ITS FREE!

Not kidding,this is the best app ever. I don't get y people complain about this! It's free easy to use and u can listen to a ton of songs for free! This has never crashed for me so for u people who say it crashes all the time, get a better iPod! U iPods are probly a piece of sht!!! Go get a life all u people who hate this! It's free and don't complain! Wow anyway this is like the best free app ever highly recommended!! I would give it 10 stars if you could listen to songs offline. That would be really nice! Take the offline thing into consideration!!! Highly recommended I would give u 5 stars but it doesn't work offline :)! Plz make it be able to work offline because it would save me alot of time and I could listen to any song whenever I would want to noadder where in the world u r! Thanks and I hope u make improvements on this app

Let me say one thing first: CRASHES. Anyway, other than that this app has true potential to be amazing. I use it all the time! It is similar to the website Playlist.com and is a great idea for portable players. Here, however are some suggestions, first for the developers and then for for the consumers: - please fix the crashing FAST. It's clear that more than 90% of the consumer are just as frustrated as I am with the constant shut-downs. Make the customers happy: FIX IT. - it would be nice if I could continue to listen to the music outside of the app like I do with the music on my player. This would surely please your buyers, and it would most definitely please me! - add more tracks. The availability of songs are sparse, and I have trouble finding songs from indie artists and even big artists like Hannah Montana for crying out loud! - the whole 80's boombox look is great, but maybe it's time for a little redecoration other than the grey monotone design it had currently. IF YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD THIS: - sure, why not? It's free and what the heck: if you hate it, then there's something called delete! - be cautious though, if you aren't the one to take even a second of your time for this stuff, it might be safer to go with something like Pandora (I know they are way different, but it's a great app) and save yourself "the misery". Thanks and also, seriously: if you're gonna update the fricken app, then update it! Gosh! My review will hopefully change in due time if this app is fixed. Me =)

Sure, there are some early bugs & limitations to this app (I.e., periodic crashes, works only on Wi-Fi, limited to one playlist, limited song selection) but this app is unbelievably cool! I'm sure these issues will be addressed. My suggestions: - allow Boombox to work over 3G - add album art - alternative skins would be nice - allow multiple playlists - allow shuffle / repeat - ability to save playlists online like you can save artist lists on Pandora I'd gladly pay for an upgraded version. Look forward to it. Thanks for developing Boombox.

Big varietyof songs. The only downside to it is u have to be in a wi-fi area. Other than that it's useful to find songs. Awesome app!!!

this is a good app if u see a song on itunes and hear the preview, and u want to hear more b4 u buy it. then u can just type in the name and listen to it. its really useful. only suggestion is, since none of the other things on the "boombox" are interactive, at least mak the sound bar animations smoother, they look kinda choppy. otherwise, perfect. thanx for the app.

Not the biggest selection to choose from, but most songs are high quality. A HUGE plus for this app is the ability to create a playlist that stays on even after you exit the app. Free music, what more could one want? Look forward to an update, keep up the great work guys.
