Well as I see it you guys giving bad reviews are not djs this is not a toy. This is a tool. When you mix music you have to plug into a mixer #1. #2 you have to have 2 itouch or iPhones conect each one to the mixer. The you can transfer your music and mix it throu the mixer by using the tempo tools of the app. For you to use it properly you will need to use the ff buttons play and tempo to the right. Other wise there is no use for the end user to have this app. It's a turn table people. Educate your self before rating. Idiots gosh!

Tried to use version 1.01 but this seemed to crash on my ipod Touch rev1 8GB. This version seems to work fine and I like the new feature that shows you your location in the the track although my uploaded aiff file did not seem ti show.
I have used Virtual Deck and although it does not have all the bells and whistles of that product it makes up for this with a very simple but effective app that sounds great and is probably easier to cue. Would like to see the the cue improved so that you can stop and start again from the same position that you have set as a cue point.
Looking forward to the next version and would obviously like the ability to play mp3's etc but the cueing is really the main feature request.

It has been said before how this app is 'misunderstood'. Anyone who is a dj, or knows the techniques behind djing can see the potential of this app. It is a simple tool to be used in conjunction with your music player to work on beatmatching. Tho I do think that this app is very bare bones and could do with some spicing up, it is still fun to mess around with and refine your skills in beatmatching (you can never have too much practice at it, lol).

This app is designed for those who DJ. Most of the people that are reviewing it do not. They don't understand what the app is meant for. You are supposed to play a song in your iTunes and then open this app. You then use the pitch slider (someone referred to it as being upside down but it is actually accurate to it's orientation on a real turntable) to adjust the tempo of the loop to put it in time with the song playing. Think of it as a live mash-up. This is what a DJ does when they play out. Therefore do not necissarily listen to uneducated reviewers. Though it is limited, it's function is far more purposeful then an uneducated person might see.

Sure you can practice your (lack of) beat-matching skills. But even cooler us that you can load up your own loops and play them over top any music in you iPhone or Touch! And it's free!
