With GestureMusic you can control the music from your iPhone or iPod Touch by simple gestures without the need to be looking at the screen.
Now you can use the iPhone or iPod Touch in your car safely, avoiding the usual distractions that happen when you switch songs or operate the iPhone while driving.
Move your finger from right to left to switch to the next song, or from left to right to switch to the previous song. Briefly touch the screen to put the iPod on pause, and touch again to resume.
You can also control the volume by moving your finger from top to bottom or from bottom to top.
Also, the application displays the artist name and song title in big, easily readable letters.

This app is so very well written. It is simple, clean, and in every case does exactly what you want it to do. It works in portrait, landscape, upside down. I like to play the iPod in the car and this makes it very easy. I couldn't disagree more with the previous reviewer who wanted fancier graphics. I want to easily see the key data without any clutter -- this does that no matter how I pick up the iPod.
I've read about some of the other apps: 1 finger for this, 2 fingers for that, 3 fingers for the other -- what are they thinking about??? For the car???

I've been looking for an app like this which integrates with the iPod app for ages. There are several other apps out there but you have to add songs from within the app itself so it's pretty irritating. You guys need to get this app known as it's pretty well hidden in the app store

I've been looking for an app like this for listening to the music in my car, easy to change track and easy to read the track name.

This app is excellent, make the use of the ipod/iphone (at car) so natural, intuitive and EASY. Great concept & incredible interface. The only objection is that the GUI is not eye appealling or catching. Please consider the following recommendation to make it more eye catching:
1.- Place the album art in the middle of the screen and place 2 black bars on the top and the bottom of it (something like the image displayed in a widescreen LCD/TV)
2. - Use those two black bars to display the info of the song.
On the top bar : display the name of the currently playing song (Use a bigger bold font). Also display (under the song of the currently playing) centered the name of the album (Use a normal and smaller font).
On the down bar: display centered the name of the currently playing artist/band (use any color/font).
I think those simple modifications on the GUI makes this app a totally winner (on usability & eye catching). Keep the good work. Best Regards and thanks.
Esta app es excelente, hace que el uso del ipod/iphone (en el automóvil) sea natura, intuitivo y FACIL. Gran concepto e increible interfaz. La unica objeccion es que la interfaz gráfica del usuario no es muy atractiva o agradable. Por favor considere la siguiente recomendacion a fin de que la misma sea mas atractiva a la vista:
1.- Coloque la imagen del albúm en medio de la pantalla y coloque 2 barras negras en la parte superior e inferior de la misma (algo parecido a la imagen desplegada en los TV/LCD pantalla ancha)
2. - Utilice esas dos barras negras para desplegar la información de la canción.
En la barra superior: Despliegue el nombre de la canción actualmente reproduciendose (Usar fuente grande en negrita). Ademas desplegar bajo el nombre de la cancion y de forma centrada el nombre del album actualmente reproduciendose (Usar fuente mas pequeña normal).
En la barra inferior: Desplegar de forma centrada el nombre del artista/banda actualmente reproduciendose (usar cualquier color/fuente).
Creo que estas simples modificaciones en la interfaz grafica de usuario haran a esta app una ganadora total (en uso y atractivo a la vista). Sigan con su buen trabajo. Muchos saludos y gracias.
