I wouldn't characterize myself as a big T-Pain fan but I have had a blast with this app. Sent some christmas emails with a rocking rendition of O Holy Night. Fired it up at a small xmas party on Sat. and had several people do renditions of songs that we played back over some mini speakers. It's cool b/c even some of the really shy folks were willing to give it a go b/c they wanted to see how the sounded with the T-Pain effect. Definitely one of the apps I use the most and share with friends.

I saw this app on gizmodo and thought the autotune feature was gonna be crap, I was wrong, it's freakin' awesome!! I sound nothing like T-PAIN but I can have the autotune feature and sound like a retarded T-PAIN. I guess I need to find a scale that suits me but you have alot of flexibilty and control on how you voice sounds. Trust me, you won't like the way it sounds when you have headphones and sing, but when you play it back, you'll be in tune and won't sound like a retarded T-PAIN. This is a badass app and highly recomend it to anyone. (I'm sure I misspelled something)

When i first saw T-pain was releasing autotune for the Ipod and Iphone i was mad happy. I myself use autotune to record my parodies and raps so i can tell this app is gonna be mad fun not only can you sing infront of your friends and show off your skills now you can sing live without worring about sounding bad....can't wait for my ipod touch to come in this week so i can test it out......But from what i saw its def gonna be a smash 5 stars and two thumbs up to you T-pain

This is one of those rare apps where u just go. 3 dollars for autotune... Portable... Wow. Imagine buying this for your studio. Sure functionality would be vastly improved. But it's gonna hit ur wallet 25x harder and it's not nearly as conveniant or intuitive. This apps straight balla. A real real autotune app that was free to be used on top of iPod built in app ect would be the best thing to happenTo app store. But until that day for 2.99 u can't even complain.

I AM T-PAIN! It's worth the 3 bucks!

I normally won't buy any apps that actually cost money. This is the 3rd one out of 6 pages worth of apps that's I've bought over the last 2 months. It's totally worth the money. It's a wry well built app and the autotune is very cool, even though it doesn't seem to really work that well with my voice. Hah. :( Anyhow, 5 stars all the way and I hope Smule finds want of making this app even better!-Hershey

This app is great. For all of you Debbie downers out there, you must be stupid to not understand how to work this. I run sound for my church and we use this all the time and it has worked flawlessly. It works **best** with your headphones if you don't have anything to plug it up to but it is **PURE QUALITY** if you have a sound system that you can hook it up to. And who cares if you have to buy a song so you can sing along with it, the point of this app is for the developers to make money while pleasing their customers. I am very satisfied with this app and hope that I have helped in someoes decision.

Had a whirl with a few friends in the car, this app was hilarious. Both in freestyling and singing along karaoke style!
Two issues: the uploads to smule account to share on facebook dont seem to work. Or rather it never asks for my login details.. so how does the app link me up to my smule account I created on the desktop?
And.. scrubbing the audio progress bar for playback would be good (and should really be in there anyhow)
In app downloads are very addictive...

I finally bought this to see what all the fuss was about... Omg- this is the best thing ever!!! Ignore the bad reviews- it is dope fun!! I can't wait to be able to access my iTunes library so I can sing over my own beats. Get that feature added, so people aren't limited to the Tpain stuff- make it easy to bring your own beats and loops in, and this will be the BOMB! Love it... Works perfectly- if you're having trouble saving or sending, just be sure you're registered- that fixed that glitch for me.

Smule and antares. You are genius. This application is amazing. Don't knock it until you've tried it. If you're a casual application user looking to fiddle around and get a quick fix, this really isn't for you. Maybe you should go and check out one of those pointless "Hot babes" applications and you know, have some fun playing with yourselves. So don't write bad reviews. However, you gotta appreciate the amount of technology that's gone into this application. Look on the web for any music based application like Cubase cos you'll need that for the auto-tune add on, and you'll be paying some serious money. So for £1.79, this is a steal. T-Pain you are a legend. Professionals and even sh!tty singers who think they can sing can do some serious sh!t with this, and it has the potential to be a great party tool for if connected to speakers/microphone etc. Good stuff. Awesome. Love it. Money well spent.

This app is pure hilarity and a ton of fun. No I'm not the next pop sensation and I don't think this app promises that I will be, BUT it's a total blast to use. At first I was upset because there are not too many included songs, but then I noticed I can play any songs on my iPhone! How awesome is that? Now i'm singing along to everything! I sent the 12 days of Christmas to my boyfriend and he couldn't stop laughing.

I DONT EVEN LIKE T-PAIN AND I <3 THIS APP!!!This app is my new recording device. I use the Apple in-ear Headphones, because I use an iPod Touch, (By the way, those work great!!) and this app can record regular talking/singing, sing to T-Pain's songs, and my favorite, use your own music to sing along. Not to mention te Auto-Tune. Works Great. The only problom is, not sure if it's my headphones, sometimes when i'll be singing, it will get all fuzzy sounding when I talk. Again, not sure if it's the headphones.Do Buy. You Shall Not Regret It. That Is Why I Am Capitolizing Every Part Of These Sentences. Good Bye.

Ok this app is incredible. A must buy. T-Pain and all the people involved with this…splendid job. It's super addicting. I love the fact that you guys updated it to where you can choose from your iTunes library, just the only thing is that you can't here your iTunes song as well as you can with the beats from the app! And I highly recommend putting a delay option on the voice in the tune section! That would complete this app I think! Anyways guys, purchase, get addicted and have fun!

This app is amazing! To have Antares Auto-Tune for $3 is awesome! I have enjoyed many hours of random singing into the app and it never gets dull. One issue I do have is that when I switch on the T-Pain switch when in freestyle, my voice doesn't change. It changes for everything else (different keys, the T-Pain effect during songs), but it just won't seem to work when I try to freestyle with that switch on. Hopefully I'm not the only one. Tried restarting/uninstall-reinstall/force quit-reopen but nothing seems to fix this. Other than this minor flaw, the app is everything I expected and more. Keep up the work Smule!!Update:The newest patch has fixed these issues making this app amazing now. Great job Smule! Can't wait to see what's ahead!

I never write reviews just because I am lazy but this is seriously the best app ever. I have so many apps but I use this app the most just because it's so amusing. i have a lot of instrumental tracks of songs being played on the radio so I choose those from my iTunes library and tpain it. it's hilarious. you dont have to to actually sound great in reality, this app will make you sound great as long as you're in the range of those notes. if you love karaoke as much as I do then you HAVE TO GET THIS. haha

This is the first app I've purchased. And I've had all iPhones. Pain, why didn't I win the Everybody Else contest? - Santo Valentino-EDIT*The songs that are promoted in the video aren't included!!! You have to buy them! Also I'm VERY IRRITATED that the makers upload your recordings to their website! I did NOT agree to that! I bought this to support T-Pain not to let the makers "allow to know my location"

This app provides so much personal and group entertainment, hilarity (when needed), and yet serious functionality when I'm on my own singing and coming up with new material. I am truly inspired to rekindle my love for singing. Only a device as powerful as the iPhone could pull off Auto-Tune technology.
My only wish (not really a complaint) is that you can't select music from your iPhone/iPod touch. While I understand they have included beats and the ability to in-app purchase more tracks, it would be really fun as a musician to sing along to your own uploaded music (a la GarageBand) as well as sing along to other songs, not related to T-Pain (no offense, of course!). Make this happen, please!

This app is just plain and simple. It is auto-tune/vocodar at it's best. Love the t-pain preset "saves so much time" and it's a traffic killer! People will think you are crazy singing in the car but who cares! With this app, you can be on xfactor aswell along with cheryl cole and mariah carry "2 artists I noticed using auto tune recently" WOW- this will keep me happy till I get my new mac pro lol 10/10

Um.... I think the title says it all. 'Nuff Said. And all you haters hatin.... don't hate the playa hate the game naw'msayin? PREACH!!! What I mean by that is, that this app is amazing. You can pay $400 for the Antares Autotune Plug-In in stores, or buy this app for $3 and get the same effect! Anyone who says this is a bad app doesn't realize how amazing it is to have this technology in the palm of their hand, not to mention the fact that you can record everything you do inside the app and then publish it to Facebook, Myspace, or send in an e-mail with one tap! And they recently added iTunes library support! Freaking amazing!

Rarely do any revolutionary and extremely fun applications come around for any platform (iPod, computer, PS2/3, Xbox, etc) but without a doubt I am T-Pain is one of them. I litereally spent hours playing with this. Don't listen to the one star reviews saying that it is not worth it. They just don't want such an excellent application in the top 10. And at $.99 it's not even worth debating on buying it. I am T-Pain is the one app to rule your iPhone.
