Awesome Free App By: Got Latin Lover - Feb 27, 2009 Version: 2.0 Let me just start off by saying that this app is awesome...I got tired of always having to upload my music on my iPhone and be on the go. But with this app there is no need, also I love how it gives you the thumbs up or down. Lastly, the only thing that it is missing is the ability to play on the background while your surfing the web and/or multitasking. Something that is Apple's fault not Pandora, they did there job in providing an awesome application that gives desktop interface and best of all it's free...KEEP THEM COMING! =D
Pandora is love. By: Reventos - Jan 26, 2009 Version: 2.0 I use this application ALL the time. I drive to and from places a *lot* and I get tired of listening to the same songs on the radio constantly. By just typing in an artist's name that I like, I am constantly exposed to new bands ^_^ I've been introduced to all kinds of songs that I have never heard of that I LOVE. Plus, when I'm hanging out with my friends and they don't like the sadly limited amount of songs I have on my iPod, I just tell them to open up Pandora and type in anything they want to hear! This application is really my favorite - I use it allll the time. And it's FREE... Which honestly doesn't make sense to me >_< Get it. Now. I insist.
Fantastic By: imaflamingo - Jan 11, 2009 Version: 2.0 Does everything it says, perfectly.
Didn't think I could love it more until the update came out and it is even more perfect. The only feature on the pc version that needs to be on the app is the "don't play this song for a month" option. Otherwise it's perfect.
To all you voting it down: voting it down because it only allows 6 skips an hour and is only available in the US are bad reasons to vote it down. These are copyright and online radio license/regulation issues. Complain to the FCC; don't vote down this fantastic app. To those who want it to run in the background; that's not pandoras fault, apple won't let any app run in the background. Stop voting pandora down for external reasons that have nothing to do with the app.
First Review By: ARS-Christian - Jan 20, 2009 Version: 2.0 This is the first app. for my iPhone that really wow'd me. I listen to it all day at work and it has virtually replaced my iPod. I haven't even added any more songs to my phone since getting this app. You can find music by almost anyone, from modern pop to dean martin Christmas songs it has em all. It's the only application ive found trully deserving 5 stars. It's better than the competitons app. in my opinion.
Great with suggestions By: Apathy Sidecar - Aug 17, 2008 Version: 1.1 First off, I love this app. Some rhongsb I'd like to see in future updates however: full rating system rather than simply like or dislike, maybe a ten point scale of something. Also access to your bookmarks on the app so I can qui ckly reference a song I really dug but couldn't buy because ofb wifi. It reallybis fantastic though. Oh I also wish it could sync with your iTunes and not play music you already own if you select that option.
Pandora is an amazing addition to the iPhone app lineup By: OpenBear - Oct 8, 2008 Version: 1.2 This is absolutely one of my favorite iPhone apps. For a few years I had a Pandora account that mostly collected dust since I could only use it while tethered to a computer. The Pandora iPhone app has changed that, and I now use my account constantly since I always have it at my fingertips. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it even works fine while traveling in the car, and was compelled (for the first time) to buy some cables to hook it up. The last update that adds the ability to create stations on the iPhone is great. At first I thought the ads would annoy me, but they are tastefully done and don't get in the way of having a good Pandora experience on the iPhone.
Please Don't Let Pandora End By: kaden22 - Sep 20, 2008 Version: 1.1 This app is awesome. I have many apps on my ipod, but this one gets a lot of use. It's fantastic that you can select an artist or a song and build up to 100 radio stations that are tailored to your musical tastes and discover new artists at the same time! Unfortunately, it can all come to a crashing end, thanks to the corporate giants in the recording industry. Licensing fees, which Pandora has to pay per song, per listener, have doubled, retroactive to 2006, thanks to a ruling on copyright fees. The owner has been interiewed about this and has said that he does not know how much longer he can continue in business under these circumstances. Pandora was already paying a significant amount of revenue in licensing fees, but with this change, they need to pay almost all earned revenue for licensing fees. Compared to other streaming music applications in the App Store, this one is pretty unique. I only just discovered it, unfortunately, when it was posted to the App Store. Do a search on Pandora news articles for more information. In the meantime, if you believe, as I do, that Pandora not only deserves to survive, but thrive, visit the website <savenetradio.org> and sign the petition. Please help save this amazing app!
Never gets old... By: MarineMP - Feb 20, 2009 Version: 2.0 As a military police officer I spend alot of time in a patrol car and needless to say regular radio gets pretty boring when you listen to the same lineup of songs, day in and day out. But with pandora I listen to the bands I love and discover bands I never knew but love just the same. It's so easy to use and I love giving my fellow officers who use satellite radio a hard time because I consider pandora a better radio and best of all it's free. If I had to pay $50 for this program I'd do it in a heartbeat. Thanks pandora team!
A Must Download By: CFD703SPC - Jul 26, 2008 Version: 1.1 Not only do I love this app on my 1st Gen iPhone, but I can be found listening to Pandora on my Desktop through Safari. It was a joy to type in a band, and have the station suggest similar artists. Not only do I get to jam to my favorite bands, but Pandora has suggested several new bands that I never knew existed. Kudo's Pandora, keep up the jammin work. Quick Tip, Plug your iPhone into one of these speaker docks, with your home WiFi Connection, and you get awesome sounding tunes. You wont even know your listening to streaming radio. This without a doubt is my favorite app on my iPhone, and on my Mac Pro.
Just awesome! By: ttcbj - Jul 17, 2008 Version: 1.0 This app is spectacular. I think everyone else has covered what makes it awesome - it works great over edge, its like having the ideal radio station for your mood where ever you go, the app is easy to use and works flawlessly. One thing people don't emphasize is how cool Pandora the service is for music discovery. Many of my playlists were a little tired. If you put a few songs from a tired playlist into a pandora station, it will start playing music that sounds similar. Its amazing! I would guess that of 10 songs it plays, on average 3-4 are things I think "that should have been in my playlist", 3-4 are new songs that I really like, and 2-3 are songs that I skip. Anyway, just spectacular! Wonderful! Great! The best iPhone app, hands down.

Absolutely Superb! By: Just another brick in the wall - Jul 12, 2009 Version: 2.0.2 Create your own radio stations, and define them as narrowly or as widely as you choose. The ability to manage up to 100 stations should satisfy even the most electic tastes in music. Don't have the time or desire to create your own stations? Enjoy already established genre stations, and mold them to your own tastes by giving feedback to the songs that are played. The free version has limited advertising, almost all of which is visual; the rare audio commercial is always brief. If you believe in what the people at Pandora are doing strongly enough, as I do, you may wish to upgrade your membership to Pandora One, for $36.00 a year. This will end all advertising and provide you with a browserless desktop application. The only concern I have with this application concerns its use with my iPhone in my car. I use a 3.5 MM cable between the iPhone headphone jack and the head unit's aux. input. When I get an incoming call, the music pauses and I hear my ringtone- but I cannot answer the call. (One would expect the caller's voice to be heard over the car's speakers, while using the iPhone microphone to carry on a conversation.) I suspect this is an Apple issue, not a Pandora issue. I am hoping that a soon-to-arrive Bluetooth device will end this problem. I am in no way whatsoever affliated with Pandora, and I give the hghesp possible reccommendation. Try it- you'll be glad you did!
WOW! By: Evanescence rocks - Jul 17, 2008 Version: 1.0 I didn't really want to get it b/c I already had music so what was the point but after I got it and used it I was very pleased and satisfied. Its amazing b/c you can find songs that you like and if you want it you can go to menu and buy it from itunes! You can make your own station and you can waste tons of hours. Best of all its free! 1 thing though, you need wifi and its really best for the iphone, just like the phonesaber but that it. Its a great app for any music lover that can't get enough of music. I <3 U ITUNES!!!! YOUR THE BEST!!!!!
HEY PEOPLE WHO PUT 4 STARS By: Darouse - Jun 21, 2009 Version: 2.0.2 Take notice:
1. Pandora can not play in the background because apple will not let any app run in the background. So their is no way for pandora to run in the background.
2. Pandora will not play the song that you made a station out of because if it did then you would basicly be getting the song you wanted to hear for free. It is setup so that if you really like a song you will buy it so that you can hear it anytime you want. If it just played the songs you wanted it to play you would never discover new music (and the artists wouldn't get paid).
Killer App By: Jmo88 - Jul 17, 2008 Version: 1.0 If you love Classical music, its fantastic. I also love the Grateful Dead, and it is a wonderful app for that too. What do these genres have in common? Loads of recordings and various interpretations. I can just let Pandora do its thing and I know I will like it. I cannot possibly acquire all those recordings of classical music and Grateful Dead recordings. Just let Pandora give it to you for free.
Definatly worth it By: Landondd - Sep 28, 2008 Version: 1.2 A great app. Excellent sound quality. Type in your favorite artist and pandora radio will play that artist and artists like it. I can't believe it's free! I definatly without a doubt would pay money for this. You can put in so many artists in it and as long as you have good wifi connection it will play great songs. You can also skip songs on the radio that you don't particulary like. Switch through radios to skip song also to find that great song you want. Also you can bookmark songs and artist to later buy on iTunes. The best app on the app store.
Best App Ever Made By: Swissguy - Feb 27, 2009 Version: 2.0 If you have a WiFi connection and speakers to hook your iPhone up to, you can create the best party possible (without a proper DJ).
Tonight, I invited some people over, plugged my iPhone into my Harman Kardon Go + Play and had Pandora play some crazy techno music (accompanied with a strobe light). Yeah, not my usual stuff, but Pandora will definitely intoduce you to some new sounds with very nice quality. It learns from you, too, so if you like music, you will LOVE this app.
Amazing By: Itzecp - Jan 2, 2009 Version: 1.2.1 This app is simply amazing. I wish (like many other people do) that pandora did have a background option and this would not hurt apples iTunes profits simply because u cannot choose what song u want to hear just the songs of the artist of band u type in plus the fact that pandora only works when connected to a wi fi access point and the song skipping limitations would still make people buy music from the iTunes store so I think that pandora should have a backgrounding option
Free- Amazing By: Incubus1062 - Oct 5, 2009 Version: 2.0.2 I use the website heavily and listen to over 40 hrs of music a month. I've purchased Pandora One to over come this, but it appears that the iPhone app has no 40 hr limit. Extremely nice for free and limited ads.
For the dimwit monkeys out there complaining about the 6 song skip; stop being stupid in your ratings. The music is legitamatly paid for everytime you listen to it. Pandora can't have morons like you skipping through thousands of songs, racking up huge royalty fees for no charge. I know it seems un-American but let's have some business sense.
Don't be stupid this really is an amazing app/service
Best Of The Best By: Ricardo3G - Apr 2, 2009 Version: 2.0.1 Pandora is the only app that I'm constantly using. It's the best music radio app out there (for the iPhone). It works great even on the Edge network. I have no complaints, it is simpliy the best.
Ps:
For the people wanting the option to play a single song or artist your stupid. This is a radio app, if you want to listen to just one artist or song go buy their music... Idiots.
Update! 4-2-09
It just got 100x's better. They improved the quality of their music stream. Now its almost crystal clear. Pandora you have won my attention once again. Bye Slacker. 5 Stars.
Pandora ROCKS!! By: Dirty Dave Fitz - Jul 26, 2008 Version: 1.0 I never heard of Pandora.com until I saw this app at iTunes, so I didn't foresee this type of functioanlity when I bought my iPhone 3G. Whoever created Pandora is an absolute genius! Now I am able to stream my favorite music while at the office without freaking out the IT department. I paired up the iPhone 3G with Altec Lansing T612 speakers and working at the office has never been more enjoyable.
