Main Features: - Five octaves of high-quality sampled piano sounds, low-latency with no clicks - Export your recorded songs or import MIDI files to play with high-quality piano sounds - Create up to three loops or sequences to assist you while recording a complex song (double-tap on R1-R3 buttons to re-record or edit velocity/tempo/loop) - Scroll keyboard left/right using Accelerometer - Adjustable keyboard size - Ability to change position and tempo of the song playing - Slide your fingers to roll the keys - Play up to five keys simultaneously - Metronome Some of demo songs included in the application: - Arabesque #1 - Claude Debussy - Canon in D major - Johann Pachelbel - Clair de Lune - Claude Debussy - Fur Elise – Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata 3rd - Beethoven - Pathetique Sonata, Movement 2 - Beethoven - Symphony No. 5 - Bethoven - Turkish March – Mozart - Gymnopedie #1 - Erik Satie - Fantaisie Impromptu – Chopin - Etude Opus 10 No.4 – Chopin - Nocturne Opus 55 No. 1 – Chopin - Nocturne Opus 9 No. 2 - Chopin - Passacaglia - Handel - Symphony No. 40 I and III - Mozart - Spring - Vivaldi - Air on the G String - Bach - Badinerie - Bach - Bourree - Bach - Swan Lake Scene 1 - Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 3 - Brahms - Habanera - Bizet - In the Hall of the Mountain King - Grieg - Polonaise - Oginski - Sabre Dance - Khachaturian - Morning - Grieg - The Poet's Heart - Grieg - Greensleeves - English folk song - The Entertainer - Scott Joplin - Gounod - Soldiers Chorus To download additional songs, view demo video or support, please visit http://rambax.com Follow us on twitter @iRambax for news, updates and free promotion codes.

Piano!!! By: borgeslll - Jul 26, 2009 Version: 1.2 This app is a steal @ $.99... R U kidding me? I took piano lessons for years, ended up guitarist and front man on five bands and two albums. I find myself wishing this was around back then. Moog had this market. I can see this app refined into a working synthesizer. In your pocket... Whenever or wherever you are, if you have a muse moment! Whip out the IPhone and record your inspiration. Priceless! Well, $.99???
Great. By: Niahan - 18-Jun-2009 Version: 1.1 I've been looking for an app like this for a while now - something that will play midi files and give me option to control tempo etc. I'm a classical musician and with this app I can upload a midi file of a piano accompaniment to it and have an ultra portable virtual accompanist to rehearse with. Fantastic!
It's really easy to use, has excellent piano sound and you can change how many piano keys are on the screen (less keys for more accuracy - more for bigger range).
One problem at the moment is that there's a slight bug with it - most midi files I upload but there's a few that just won't and every time I try it crashes the app (I don't know if it's because it's over a certain size or has too many voices - if so it would be good to know -or for a future update to correct this).
Also currently the app does not disable the iphone's auto lock feature and so it just stops mid flow when the phone auto locks itself - which is very annoying if you're trying to play along with something. What would be most useful is if it would disable the phone's auto lock but still keep playing if the user chooses to manually lock the phone (so that the screen is not illuminated - to save battery power).
Really great little app tho. I'm a happy customer. N
(update to previous review) - overriding the iphone's auto lock feature has now been rectified with the recent free update! Brilliant! Really well done and many thanks.

Piano Sharp By: DRE1048 - May 29, 2009 Version: 1.1 This is an iPhone app for which I have been searching - a MIDI file player, with adjustable tempo. My principal use of the app is to play simple MIDI accompaniment files for my music students. Thanks to this app, I can present an accompanist to any of my students at any time, and match the tempo to the student's capability, without having to carry around and set up a laptop PC. Works great for me - I haven't (nor do I need to) stress it with complex MIDI files or very fast tempi. I found it very easy to transfer MIDI files from my existing library. I have also used the keyboard and recording features. Really nice approach to keyboard management. My thanks to the developer.
Very good for listening and learning midi music By: Bottomlineman - 6-Jul-2009 Version: 1.1 There are many piano apps for the iPhone and I tried most of them. This one has a couple of novel features. 1) you can scroll the piano keys left and right by tilting the iPhone left and right. This is neat. You can turn it off if you don't like it. I like it. 2) it can play your favorite midi format music and show you the keys in red and blue on a small full piano at the top. I use this feature to learn music by slowing down the tempo and repeating the keys that are displayed in red and blue. I like this feature a lot! However, I am hoping that the developer(s) will make the tempo go even slower than the it can right now cause some music is pretty fast to follow. Download: It was pretty easy and straight forward to download MIDI files from my MacBook to the iPhone using this app. Metronome and recorder: There is a metronome and recorder for 3 songs. You cannot edit the recorded music. You can only delete it. I expect that the developers will allow the user to delete last played note, last played take (set of notes) and add more notes to an already recorded piece. Now you can record one take and that's it. You cannot add, delete or modify. Other features: You can scroll the octave you want to play by tilting the phone left or right or by using moving a grey rectangle on the small keyboard at the top. Very well done. There are other settings which you can read about in the description but one thing I would definitely want to see fixed is the info (i) key at the top which is also the settings key. It is too hard to hit this button. Overall, I like this app a lot. Quick to load, decent piano sound, reasonable price, novel features, easy download of MIDI, can be used to listen and learn music, and has a lot of potential. Two suggestions to developer: slower tempo setting and bigger info/settings button. Highly recommended.
Great App! By: Liuxx330 - Oct 9, 2009 Version: 1.2 Love the app, but a few small improvements would make it perfect! First of all, I would love to be able to slow down replays of songs by much more. For technically difficult songs like Claire de Lune it's very hard to learn even at the current slowest speed. The other issue is related. It would be nice, if while you paused the demo, the red and blue marks on the demo piano would stay, instead of disappearing after a second or two. Claire de Lune is why I bought this app, and these two things I think would greatly improve my experience. I also feel a little jipped by paying $1.99 for this app while everyone below me seems to have only payed $0.99, but that's business, I guess...
Near Perfection By: Borgeslotr58 - Jul 17, 2009 Version: 1.2 This app is by far the best piano app out there, yet it's not perfect. There are several things that could be included to make this app perfect. For one, I would like to be able to save my R1, R2, and R3, so they dont delete should i need to exit the app. It would also be good of you could play them at the same time. Other features that I would like to see, is the ability to play with iPod, the ability to go back and edit and add on to songs that you've already recorded, and all of the other suggestions people have already made ;). Once these simple things get added on, this will be a must by even for people who dont like the piano :D

Great but please update By: Outerlav - May 23, 2009 Version: 1.0 This app has really great potential after a few fixes and updates. There are a couple things I noticed that that will need to improvement. The app will crash when when I have more then 2 recordings - please fix. Also there is no way to delete a recording unless I start the app over. This can get annoying. I give this app four stars because finally someone came up with the idea be able to record in midi format. Also I think this I a great start but it will need some further work.
Beautiful Experience By: Cascade Falls - Nov 6, 2009 Version: 1.2 This is an innovative use of technology and an inspirational concept. A great learning tool and pleasant to work with. The producer has been very helpful. This is a product that can grow. The midi import/export function sets this product apart from the others and makes it a clear leader.

Brilliant piano app By: Suzi1990 - Jul 15, 2009 Version: 1.2 This program has great piano sounds. It's a very good way to listen to my midi music. The small keyboard which shows the notes is nice and also a great way to learn a song by slowing down the tempo. Really great little app, I love it!
I love this app By: lunarlie - Jul 7, 2009 Version: 1.1 It's easy and fun to use and the recording options are nice. I'm self-taught on piano, so it's great to be able to practice anywhere and use the recording features to show my progress on new songs.
Mr By: Guy Funnell - 19-Jun-2009 Version: 1.1 This is a brilliant program and exactly what I have been looking for.

Finally... By: Sidewalk Lover - 12-Jun-2009 Version: 1.1 I've never left a review for an app before as I have never felt the excitement or motivation to do so but this app is brilliant. I've been a musician for 16 years and despite some obvious limitations due to the handset size, this actually feels musical. Some performance issues could be ironed out but still v.happy, look forward to updates!
