OMG Apple let you put this app in their story?! Haha! Score! Love the low memory required to run this while it's streaming!!! It's just perfect for those of us who are jailbroken, it run outstandingly well while backgrounded!! Pandora often closes out but this is pure music! Now it's got me thinking about buying music! Though... I won't be able to sync it in till I use iTunes but still!! Great app! Very clean codeing!!

My teenage days, would spend ten dollars on a casset (tapes) a month, 10.00 a pop and only wanted one or two songs in the album :(, for 2 to 3 songs would be worth the package. All adds up quickly back in the days. You people who complain about the prices are the ones are so cheap. 15.00 a month ?!? I bet over 2/3 spend more on coffee! If you don't have Enough $, make your coffee at home, quite ordering take out, Bottom line, unlimited down for 15.00. a month, I say Jake the price UP!!!, if you could fix the sound quility, I would pay 30.00 a month.oFor people who cannot affoard the price, public library has a large library of music, but then again how do you affoard an iPhone?!?!?GET A JOB

play.....WIFI at the office and at home ....App is awesome on the Raod....VERY Bad........

I was not a subscriber, but downloaded this app and was impressed enough to decide to become one. Yes, the sound is FM car radio circa 1990. But, did you hear Pandora when its app first appeared? Was that mono? The bit rate will be increased, soon enough, and the sound will get much better. The criticisms below are often nuts. Gee, they charge money for "on demand" listening. Pandora is free, buy a computer programs YOUR music. You can't listen in the background. Big deal. Whose fault is that? All I know is that I listened to a collection that would have cost me $19.99 to purchase. That is more than the monthly subscription. I don't physically "own" it, but can listen to it whenever I want, along with thousands or millions of other tracks. Sounds like a darned good deal to me. And, it worked perfectly in my car for my entire commute. Both ways. Good job with the 1.0 app. It will only get better.

I am shocked but happy that Apple would allow this app. It works perfectly with 3g and 64bps allows instant real time loading of just about any song in the world and it's continous play for just $15 per month. If you want better quality or to store songs and play them later without internet, you can do that with any play-for-sure mp3 player (obviously non-apple) without any additional cost. In fact, you can have up to 3 mp3 players total along with your iphone. Works out great for families.

The only legitimate complaint here is about the audio quality, which will undoubtedly get better. Remember Pandora audio quality when it was first released? Besides that, this app is perfect! Definitely not deserving of it's current low score. If you don't want to pay for the servce then fine, but to give an amazing app thats geared towards current subscribers 0 stars because you don't want to pay for the underlying service is ...ignorant at best. 5 stars.

This app is great. It worked fine for me over 3g and wifi. I agree that a higher codex on wifi may be nice on wifi, it may or may not be in their control (i.e. Apple). Freezing/crashing problem? This app uses a bit of memory space. If you run out, the iPhone/itouch general closes the app. So try restarting your phone beforehand if you can - or try closing tabs that you have open in safari. There are also plenty of "free memory" apps. To the people who think the ToGo subcription is an iPhone only thing: Hardly. This subcription is unlimited songs on the computer and almost any portible media player on earth. Because apple does not allow song subscriptions from any source, Real stepped up to make this app for all of us. Again, great work devs. I look forward to seeing how this grows.

I was already a subscriber before I got my iPhone so maybe I'm a little biased. This is a new app so obviously there will be some bugs to be worked out. Remember, the monthly price allows you to use several playing options- 2 computers and I think 3 devices. I have a Creative Zen and my son has a Sandisk player and it works great with those. It would be nice to play in the backround while doing other things on my iPhone. So give it a little time- and THANK YOU Apple for allowing this app!

Of this freakin app. It chooses when it wants to work. I shouldn't have to hope and wish when I open an app that it's going to work properly. It should already work. Especially with the time that this app has been out. I understand if it's been a week or two but it's been out for a while now. And I can't keep praying that it's going to work all the time. It seems like a hopeless app. But I'm the kind of person who doesn't give up. I'm still paying a monthly fee for it but come on. You have all these unhappy people and you have happy people that are soon about to get reallllll unhappy once they experiance what we've went through. I don't want to keep downloading this app and restarting my iPhone every so often. I love this app still and that's why i'm still rating it a 5 star. But I'm soooo sick of this crashing and server login failed attempts. Please fix and make the next update the revolutionary one. Too fix the major bugs. And this is my little add in you should add: the top songs you've listened too. I like knowing who I listen to the most. I know you can see that on the website but it would be a cool little add in. This app runs perfectly fine! In fact I'm using it right now, through a certain trick I'm sure most of you know, and it's working fine. I've never had a problem logging in or crashing or anything. I use this app almost daily in my car and the sound is fine through my car speakers on 3g. I'm sorry for those who have problems but i'm glad to report I have none. Aside from somewhat sluggish boot up (just a few seconds too long for my taste) it's perfect. Amazing app

AWESOME!!! ... Low bit rate (64kbps) keeps stream smooth and stable. LOVE IT!!!

This app is perfect. It's like renting an iPod loaded with seemingly all the music in the world. Maybe not for everyone, but to me, this is heaven. As for sound quality, considering it needs to stream over connections that are sometimes weak, using a lower bit makes perfect sense to me. I found the stream to be pretty smooth even where cell reception was weak. Given that Real is a serious developer of audio codecs, you can be sure they thought this through. I realize there are fancy tricks for streaming music across connections with varying strengths, but you can be sure the developers at Real had some limitations to work with. Besides, they didn't even know if the app would be accepted, so spending the money to develop new kinds of streaming technology for iPhone could have turned out to be a major waste of time if Apple had said no.

My life is now complete. Come on folks. Thoes that rant and rave about pandora obviously don't understand this app. I love pandora and slacker. Xm no way. With this app I can listen to the whole album, any album, not songs "like it" but exactly what it is that I want to hear. If you can afford the membership you may never want to "buy" music again. Why buy music when you have access to it all at your fingertips. I have been waiting for this for years.

This is a great application to work with the subscription service... Audio quality isn't that great... They're working on it, though, and the app needs to be smoothed up a little... What app doesn't? But overall, I was completely satisfied with this app. If it gets better in future updates, this app will continue to be my #1 app. I think it could grow to be better than the iPod app. Everyone says that it's horrible because you have to pay $15/month for it... Well if you bought one CD in a month that's not a lot at all but, oh, 15 dollars for 6 million+ songs is way too much? This application is great for the 1st one and in future updates will grow to be alot better. Stop whining about crap they're gonna fix it. And Pandora has "stations" not individual songs. I'd like you to show me an app that has almost every song available on demand right now. Oh, right, there isn't one. Pay the 15 bucks and get a great music service. If you think that's too much, don't pay it and shut up.

I wrote a review about this app previously (the ONLY review I've ever written about an app). The powers that be apparently have full editorial control and have not posted it. Doesn't surprise me. Here goes again - politically korrected: EXCEPT FOR MINOR TWEEK RE QUALITY OF STREAM, WHICH I'M SURE IS COMING, THIS IS ONLY APP ANYONE WHO ACTUALLY SPENDS MONEY ON MUSIC WILL EVER NEED. Between this app and something like OoTunes and Pandora I personally am in music heaven and my prayers and dreams over past 5 years have been answered and fullfilled. I am FOREVER GREATFUL to the developers and those that made this happen. I am even more impressed at Apple, that allowed it. THANK YOU, AGAIN AND ALWAYS. ( iTunes - get with the program!!)

This app is great. Even if there is a supscription of 15 dollars a month. That's as many songs as you wants month rather then paying only 15 dollars a months for only 15 songs. A couple flaws though are the audio quality, when you change a song it plays the one before or after it, and it doesn't play when you exit the app. Other than that I HIGHLY reccomend it. It's great for parties, in the car, or just whenever.

While I'm very suprised to see this in the app store, I'm very excited about the possibilties. I've always preferred subscription based service so I'm not really a fan of iTunes. Now I can have all my music on one player. No more dragging along my Walkman when I head out--I can just bring my iPhone! The app works well. I haven't had any problems with crashing. It is similar in nature to the web site. Not as slick as the software, but it does the job. The sound quality isn't great but overall, I give this a resounding five stars!!

$15 per month is a bargain, stop whinning

To all of those complaining they may actually HAVE TO PAY to listen to music, get a life. For the price of one CD a month you get pretty much every CD out there and can now listen to them pretty much anywhere. If this sounds like a lot it's because you've probably never actually PAID for music. Musicians earn their living selling music. How about you support the artists for a change?I'm sure the app will get better and better, but if you're such a cheap loser you don't want to pay for the music you listen to, go back to bit torrent all you thieves.

I downloaded this app becuz I saw it on A tv commercial and I said, "wat the heck, let me try it out!" so I did, and I have to say.. I'm very impressed on all the music genres that it has.. just about any song, album, and artist are a click away, all u have to do is, search it, and if it's there.. u can hear that individual track, or stream the whole album, that's really awesome and it's all at yor finger tips!! I read sum reviews on here, and everybody talked about the poor audio quality.. I'm not a picky person, I'm happy wit wat I can get.. THE AUDIO IS VERY TOLERATABLE!!! From a scale 1-10, I give it an 7-8, but it's very listenable.. I plugged in my headphones, and I started jamming! I hooked it up to my car, and not bad for a streaming 3g connection, i was pleased.. U can hear the slight low quality.. But it's not as bad as other reviewers make it out to be... And for being it's debut app, I feel it's on a good path.. in the description, it said on the next update it would improve the audio quality.. that's even better, it'll make this app 5-stars, in my opinion!! I think everybody needs to have patience, and not talk trash! if u don't like it! Then why don't YOU Invent and online music streaming app for the iPhone.. Let's see how well you do!! All you reviewers are full of sh*t!! Give these guys sum credit at least, u A-holes!!The only thing I would like for this app to improve on, perhaps on the next update? Is to be able to erase the search history, it saves the search history on the app, which I don't like.. That's my only complaint! 4-stars!! Keep up the good work!! :D

I wish deleteing songs out of que was simular to the iPhone email, like check a bunch and then hit delete,Deleteing songs out of there now is kind of tetiousAlso the new releases area is lousey.But I do love the app and can see myself ever with out it (:Thx y'allO yeah, any way to make it operate faster? (sure your on that one tho)Also complation CDs do not state the artist in preview. That plus if you can listen / even find movie soundtracks would be stellar!Again love the app!
