I love this app. I know there are other ways to do this but this is so easy! I've made over 100 ringtones in the first 3 days I've had it. Very user friendly and the help button that plays the video makes this app so easy to use. If you can't figure out how to use it after watching the video you don't know how to use an iPhone so you wouldn't have downloaded this app in the first place ...and we're walking

Easy to use. Took on a couple minutes to make a ringtone and have it installed. Yes you have to hook your phone to your computer to complete the process but it is not the programmers fault. Is it quicker just to buy one? Sure it is but why rate down an application because of it. This application does exactly what it is described to do. The UI is very user friendly and the "help" video works is great to explain how to complete the install onto the phone. Looking forward to any possible updates.

I have had good results with this app so far. Having the +/- to fine tune the seconds is really nice - I noticed that some of the paid apps don't even have that. I still find it a pain at times to have to sync everything with iTunes but you have to do that with any ringtone app. I have tried several ringtone apps, and this one was the easiest to use by far -- plus this one is free, so how could you really complain?

This free Ringtone maker works, no problem. Does not delete anything, very easy to use. A+++You can use any song that is on your iPhone. I have iPhone 4 with latest update on both iPhone and iTunes. Try the free one, watch the video and it's a piece of cake. My phone has not been hacked nor any mods. If u always hated to pay 99cents for a Ringtone from iTunes, especially of a song you already own on CD, or DL, get this app, it's a no brainer. What's wrong with this picture, you buy a song from iTunes and if you want a Ringtone of the same song, if you are lucky, you will have to pay another 99cents for a Ringtone of a song you just purchased. This app rules, I went ahead and bought the pro version, just for the fact that these guys gave an app away for free, which they could of charged $1.99 and that still would be fair. One Ringtone and the pro version paid for itself. You guys should be charging 99 cents for the free version and it still would be a deal. One Ringtone and it paid for itself.

The best app in app store, and it's FREE! You only get 20 sec of any song in your library, but it's still better then paying $1.29 for ring tones. Plus you choose the part of the song you want. The pro version is available but you don't need it unless you want the ring tone to be up to 40 sec. But who needs that. The phone rings you pick it up. 20 sec is more then enough. Stop reading download now!

Works great! Very simple to use. One improvement would be to be able to choose where in the song you want to start while listening to it, but that problem was easily solved by just figuring out on iTunes and then picking your starting point. I will probably have to buy this app. You can only make 20 second clips with the free version. Now if only we could make our own tones for text messages... 

I don't buy many apps but as soon as I tried out the free version of this I couldn't resist. Easy to use. Video included to show you how to make the ringtones. Got to make ringtones out of my favorite songs and my favorite part of the song as well. Bought the pro version just so I could have double the length for the ringtones. One of the simpliest apps to use and saves you a ton of money from having to buy actual ringtones. LOVE THIS APP!

Cool app and easy to choose the section of song you want to use as the ringtone. 20 seconds is quite sufficient. But really, watch the help video. The only doubt I encountered was when syncing the ringtones-a popup occurred indicating could not sync more than one device some data may be lost-I did it anyway everything was fine. Did lose music but just did another sync, no problem-only happened once. Created more ringtones today with no mishaps. App recommend!

The first 20 seconds of the song Firestarter from prodigy makes an awesome ringtone ( so is Heartwork from Carcass, Digital Man from Rush and New Skin/Echo from Incubus)! I recommend this app!Oh and those who think that 20 seconds isn't long enough for a ringtone, I'm pretty sure that in fact, you (or your voicemail service) never let your phone ring for more than 15 seconds!.. And those who whine about the fact that you can't record your own things, just record anything you want with your PC or iPhone, transfer it if it's the case, convert it into a mp3, transfer your new mp3 to your iPhone and there you go!..

This program was easy to use but it didn't explain these few items:1) You can create more and more after you save each song. It won't show you what you have until you sync, but you can build multiple ringtones.2) The first time you drag the to the desktop and then into the top left pane of iTunes and then sync to the iDevice, you lose anything on your iDevice (Apps, Music, Playlists). Apps resync, but I had to re-add my music which is not set to sync.Quick solution: Build a playlist that is for your phone and drop in other playlists to that one and then drag that into your phone.Once you sync the first time, you are free and clear to add more later without wiping music or non-sync items.Great app! I will pay for full version just to thank this guy for a good app!!

Only reason it's 4 stars is b/c you can't instantly use the ringtone once you create it- you have to transfer the file to your hard drive via iTunes, drag the file to your library, & finally add the file to your iPhone. Otherwise, I love that you can create a 20-second ringtone from just about any music file you already own.Another suggestion for improvement: when you drag the time to a point on the song, you can't hear the pnayback at the time you do it- you need to Stop then Play again- too much gurss& check. For a Free App it's fantastic!!

Easy to create Ring tones from music already on the phone. Works great on my iPhone 4. Fixed 20 second duration is addressed in the full version for anyone who really needs it.Would like to see the start point move automatically as music is played, since manually setting the start point based on seconds only is awkward. I play the song in iTunes first to find the starting point in seconds, before trimming in this app.In a matter of minutes, I used this app to give each of my friends their own ring tone :)For anyone not able to find the ring tones on their computer, read the instructions. This is due to the phone not yet allowing apps to write the ring tones directly to the phones ring tone area.

Awesome, thanks!I found all the file transferring a bit of a pain, but the video made the process easy to understand. It met up to it's description and really was simple to use. I don't feel the tone length is really an issue. I put songs in my iTunes to listen to them. My ringtones tell me I have a call, and in some cases who it is. 20 seconds is more than adequate. If I haven't answered by then I don't hear when it ended because I don't hear the phone.

At first I was worried that all these good reviews were made my the creator. However, this is the best free app there is. Sound quality is good, it is easy to use, and you can even buy a pro version (I did not though). There is even a video to show you exactly how to add them as a ringtone. Simply amazing.
