This is a great app!! I give it 5 stars because it is free and there is a great selection of music. Only things it needs is the skipping of parts of some of the videos at times fixed and to add unedited versions of rap and rock videos! It's not like kids don't hear cursing on a daily basis anyway... Just put a agreement at the install that some videos may contain adult language??? That would clear the developers. Only reason I say that is because being edited videos alot of songs it completely ruins them because of all the beeps and cuts. It's called freedom of speech people and this is America! If you don't like it then don't listen to it!

This app is cool but you have to check out PocketPooon.com. Too bad Vevo doesnt have any porn vids, Oh Well, I guess thats what PocketPoon is for. PocketPoon.com is the only web application made specifically for your iPhone dedicated to Porn. PocketPoon.com is pure genius! This is the only porn application I found that has a discreet icon so your wife or gf doesnt know that you have porn on your phone. I honestly don't know what people want. It really doesn't matter if this app is free or not. This is the best app for videos and yes it is free. So please be little grateful. Many people leave bad reviews for no reason. I have iPhone 4 and this app is working flawlessly. No skipping and/or bad audio. They even tell you that the best playback will be over wifi. Download this app and be your own judge but I'm 100% for *****.

VEVO: nice work here! It's very obvious you've spent a lot of time with this app! Vids load surprisingly fast!Rare skips--but this maybe ATT's fault.For a brand new app a solid 5 stars!Slim selection (as others have noticed) (MUSE has some awesome vids you need) but being new this is not surprising. iTunes store was slim when it opened.Tiny bugs here and there (rewinding in a vid is jolty, brief A/V sync mishaps, etc.) and a slim selection give this 4 stars but for an initial release a solid 5 stars.AWESOME, FRIENDLY, FAST INTERFACE--a pet peeve of mine.You have some talented developers--keep them! :)Very happy!

This app works perfectly fine for me.For the people who keep complaining about the quality, get a better/stable connection. I get great quality on my wifi connection.The people who complain about the ads, need to realize that this is how Vevo makes profit and keeps this app as well as its music alive. The ads are easy to bare with anyways since they're short and not very frequent.I love this app and recommend using it especially since its FREE!!!

This app is great!! It is mostly new videos which is all I want anyway. And they are good songs. Not some random junk. The quality and sound is great. I have my iPhone hooked up to eight TV's in my show truck and this works great for showing videos and playing music at car shows. To top it all off it is free!!! I could see a paid app in the future with more videos or the ability to search, but this works GREAT for me now!!!!

I have the iPhone 4 and this app is great. Only bad thing is within the first 5-10 seconds of the video takes it that long to sync voice and video. After that never skips a single time through out the whole song. Not worried about 5 seconds most videos don't do crap first 5 seconds. Must have app and in sure it works way better on the iPhone 4 and wifi. So if you have a older phone and ONE bar of service probably won't work all that great. Time to upgrade to the newer phone. Sell your phone online, I've seen plenty of people willing to pay a few hundred dollars for used old iPhones.

You won't find a better free app for playing music videos. The very first video I watched had the audio out of sinc for the first like 15 seconds, but then it corrected and was great. The video quality is great also.I can't believe people would rate an app that they haven't downloaded and used. You would give a great app 1 star because it isn't yet available to you?As for the one that said there is no search and that they only have pre chosen videos, are you serious? I found the search option within 20 seconds of opening the app. People, please use an app for more than 5 seconds before giving it a low rating. It isn't fair to the people who put the app out.

Vivo is the most incredible video app out there, and best of all, it's FREE! I love all of the great features it offers: top videos, music premiers, searching for artists, creating your own playlists, seeing other users' playlists, Facebook/Twitter/e-mail/app store integration, a HUGE video catalog, opt-in push notifications, etc.! The video quality over wifi on my first gen iphone is GORGEOUS! Over edge, the video quality is surprsingly good . . . however, when there is a "blip" in the connection that causes buffering, the video quality drops significantly -- but this is not the app to blame as much as the slow connection that edge has. Most 3G users, especially with newer devices, should have no problem with the video quality or connection. My point is that I use an old iPhone with edge and wifi, and I think it works pretty darn well on my phone -- so it should likely work better on newer, 3G devices better. The videos load surprisingly fast, and while you're waiting, music facts pop up on the screen for you to read! Sweet!For the developers: It would be great if you'd post general music news on the homepage. It would also be cool if you added a music chat room into the app where people could talk about various music topics. It could also be fun if you had a music related game -- like when the video loads, I know you list music facts. Perhaps you could turn that into a trivia game, or make a separate music trivia game elsewhere in the app.Above all, this should be an app in everyone's devices. Vevo is fantastic and free! Not sure why people are hating on Vevo, as they clearly advertise what to expect from it (ie: best used over wifi). They frequently update the app, so loading times and video quality will continue to improve. If you're having a problem with the app, contact Vivo support so they can fix your issues in future updates. However, I suggest that you all try it out, and perhaps you'll be plesantly surprised that Vevo is vivacious! :-)

This is app is amazing. No better way to put it! People r being stupid -_- of course there's a search! It has today's music in the featured sections (makes sense!) and you can search any artist ever! They have all the Guns N' Roses videos and Michael Jackson..I was getting email updates on when this app was going to come out, and I am NOT disappointed!! Wonderful app! GET IT. never buying a music video again! LOL

The app is awesome. It has great music selection, high quality video and audio. Sure it has some bugs but I'm okay with that since I've been waiting for it since vevo first came out. The only problems I have encountered so far are (1) the music and video aren't at sync in the beginning and (2) the videos are censored which in my opinion kills some songs badly. Other than that this app is great and the bugs should be fixed soon. Download the app it's great.

Great to see an app like this but it's missing a lot of I would think necessities.1. Won't play video through an iPod/iPhone dock2. Annoying nag screens asking if you're still there can't be disabled.3. No way to link your web profile/playlist with your apple device.4. No community area I can find to talk to other users and meet people.5. No way to get rid off annoying commercials.6. Streaming needs more work but is overall rather impressive.7. Needs better play controls like; random, skip video, go back, etc etcHopefully these things will be added soon in the future. Even with all this I still have to give this app 4 stars. Keep up the good work.

The app gives you the ability to make playlists of music videos which is nice. I had no trouble with out of sync or skipping (I am using iPhone 3GS so maybe the other people had older phones?) I do notice that using wi-fi is better in terms of loading time. My only complaint / request is that they enable the ability to output the video through the video cable... That way when I have a social gathering I could plug the phone into the home theater and get streaming music videos of my choosing.

I don't know what everyone is nit picking about! This app has a totally diverse selection of artists and genres. I searched for at least twenty artists and it found them all and had at least 1 video for all of them. I only experienced one sync issue and I prolly have played 15 or 20 vids today. Great app, I would have paid money for this one, but it's free!! So all you naysayers out there either try to make a better app yourself and see how far that gets you or look where it says this app was FREE and chill out and enjoy it...

I'm surprised it has such a big database of music videos, but an overwhelming amount are pop. Several of my favorite bands are not included, for example, Mudhoney, and, perhaps most notably, Green Day. It's good to know that while a large amount of videos are on Vevo, not all of them are. However, the sheer amount of videos is otherwise humbling, and definitely worth downloading, for any music lover.

It's what we've all been waiting for, and there's nothing to lose, so it's painless to download this as soon as you see it.Amazing quality, good sound, loading times are not terribly long, and commercials are short and don't really take away from the experience.The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars was because of the bugs. While usually minor, they are frequent enough to be annoying. All it usually is is a second or two of the video being cut out, and it almost never happens more than once on any video, but it's a 50/50 chance that it will happen...As soon as the video streaming is fixed, I will change my review to 5 stars.
