I use this product with my car's ipod dock on my dash, so i can listen to my iphone's music and hear iHUD's alerts through my stereo. also with it on my dash in normal mode, it works perfectly and is highly visable in bright daylight and nighttime. of course if your going to use the mirrored feature, sit your iphone on top of your dashbord so it can reflect iff your windshield. of course it only works best in lowlight environments and nighttime.
so at night you could use this app as a heads up display, but during daylight, i recommend having a dock/holder on your dash and using the application in normal display mode.

Looked at this app and thought "no, it can't work that well" based on some other apps I've seen, but lo' and behold, put it on my dashboard and drove around and is one of the BEST apps I've ever paid for! Works great! It's within 1-2 mph of what my car says, looks great during night driving, and immensely helpful! Shows direction and elevation (I'm driving, not flying, so what does the accuracy of elevation really matter?) and latitude/longitude coordinates. Can't wait to use while driving with some friends and get their reaction! Wish I would have seen this app earlier!

Absolutely awesome!!! Projects perfectly and looks awesome matches my bmw colour display. Other colours look good too so you can match the colour display. The speed is very very accurate, but the speed camera detector some times is not accurate or some times does not even work but most of the times works well. Overall I highly recomend this makes your car feel very futuristic puts a smile on my face even now after 2 months of using it. This would be perfect if this app had a sat nav on it as well, a heads up sat nav, now that would be the icing on the cake.

Picked up all three cams locally, tone is unique and can be heard over music, unlike my tomtom. Not sure why but the interface button is slow as he'll to respond. The app canes the battery, but then all apps do. And I FINALLY found a use for a non-slip pad I got free a few years ago. Y might use blutack to stick the phone down... Gps lock is 'ok' and height measurments aren't spot on I don't think, but the app as a whole us very very very cool, more fun than useful as far as the HUD goes (it's cool!) but with cams too?!?! Can't be beat! Get it now! Very happy and glad I bought it!

I was only going to give this app 4 stars as even though it's the best app I've tried you could not get landscape mode and you do not need things like course. I just recieved an update that now gives you speed only option and in landscape format. I can't wait till it gets dark now to try it out. As well as impressing your friends it also means you do not need to take your eyes off the road to check your speedo. Buy this app now!

As someone stated--because of the kind of windshield on some cars, the image reflected is doubled, making it rather difficult to get a clear picture. (when I held it up to the door window, it reflected perfectly) Of course, the creators of this app could have overlooked this or were simply unaware that this was the case with some vehicles--they definetely aren't to blame. A great app REGARDLESS. Perhaps a "heads up" (no pun intended) can be given to future purchasers informing them that this may be the case with their vehicle? (they can use one of the pics in the 'app advertisement' to check if this might be the case with their vehicle) Still a good buy--hope my other vehicle doesn't suffer from the same dilemma!! Great work!!

I agree with some about the buttons but other than that, it works ok. The HUD is nice but hard to see at night unless is really dark outside and only when I use the large speed only display. Too much info on the screen to read normal , imagine on the mirror setting. But overall, it does what it says it will. No complaints just comments.

This such a cool apps that turns your iPhone into a heads up display. It does exactly what they say. I placed a chrome tint on the windshield to enhance the image. It works best at night. If you like cool toys, this apps is for you. I just wish I can adjust brightness in the program itself.

This is dope when the new update comes out you should get this to work with video output so when I plug my phone into my in-dash tv I have a separate HUD AND listen to music that will be awesome

Great app and very accurate. The only issue I have is the display is doubled on my windshield which makes it a bit hard to see, but it's just the way my windshield is made

This little and yet powerful app is the one of the best yet. Definetly worth the price. It would compare to my 2000 corvette HUD. Speed is very accurate, I found the green setting to be the best color, but others are also nice. So many options. Obviously your not going to use this full time, but it is great for any night time driving. Great work!
