It does just as advertised. It is very similar to an RSS feed type app. I would give it 5 stars if it had a search function to look for specific items. It does not have the full CR article, but when you get to the Internet site, they give a nice synopsis. They can't give you the whole article or no one would buy the magazine or Internet subscription anymore! C'mon, it's free and it's actually something you can keep using, unlike the other dozens of apps I've taken off my phone.

Very informative. Lots of great and always updated information. Not sure why so many folks are giving it bad ratings because it is really very good for free and the info is free too. I am sure that the program will improve with future updates. In the mean time I love it and read it every day whenever I have any down time.

This app is very useful and convenient...I am able to view ratings so I don't know what other people are doing wrong. Plus, You Are Retarded if you actually think a company who's been supplying their paid subscribers with information is just going to let you view all their sh*t for free online. Get out of here.
Anyways, it's Definitely worth it, saves you from wasting money on cr@p.

What are all these folks whining about. The doggone App is free and does a great job of accessing ratings. A minor glich is when going to car ratings the visuals crap out. Otherwise I like it very much.

Would be great if it had search function. People who are complaining about the fact that there's a fee need to realize that CR costs money to access. If you don't want to pay for their services then don't complain when you can't get in.

I would have though this was going to be a mini version of the magazine (which is expensive and I would go to the library when I needed it). It's not only full-featured, It's more than just a rehash of the current issue. Well layed out also. I'd like to see where it could be improved as I have not found anywhere yet. I'm a current CR subscriber online. This app allowed me to sign in and access ratings. I find it easy to use and very useful. No site crashes and all pics download. I've tried everything from TVs to computers to cars. I can only assume upgrades have been made since the launch, because I don't understand all of the negative comments.
