I watch MSNBC so it wasn't a surprise that I downloaded this app. I didn't think I'd check it all that often but I do. I like having the ability to go get the news anytime I want and really like the interface. A friend of mine also has the app but didn't realize you could see more stories on a topic by clicking the menu at the top. Really glad to see MSNBC release this app. Gave it five stars because it does everything it says it will and it's free. I think it earned the five stars.

Good layout, nice appearance, Twitter integration, small ads.

I like news apps that make it easy to switch categories and don't overwhelm me with ads. The ads are tiny (I expect them because the app is free) and the app is very responsive. It's easy to watch the headlines flow by and the NBC peacock browser is kinda cute. If you're not skilled at reading things upside down you might find yourself turning either your head, your iPhone, or both to see the categories, but this is not a problem.

Nice app. Nice looking. But the user experience is lacking. Needs another round of simplification. The peacock thing is fun and helps the brand but a litlle clunky. Bug for the facebook share. How did that get by testing? Strange. Otherwise good.I think the low rating is obvious. Lots of old Fox farts got themselves computers once they realized that's how Obama won the presidency. Do us a favor and take the next 8 years off. We had to, your turn!

Finally a new interface, it works and is nice. Loads quick and lots of stuff.

Finally someone came up with a new interface for their news app. I don't know why so many complain about the interface. I think it's cool and get tired of all the apps looking exactly the same. Keep it the way it is NBC. Everything works great for me. Stories load quick and images and videos look good. I like it, try it out. Facebook connect doesn't always work.
Change the name you see on the iPhone to just "MSNBC" or something, "msnbc.com" doesn't look right on the home screen.

A different interface than any other news reading app I've used, but I like it a lot. And it's FAST. And it isn't unstable. Beats the AP Newsreader like a drum from a useability standpoint.

Great way to stay connected. Gives updated data that's intereting and easy to scan. A must have. No iPhone complete without. Awesome setup. Wouldn't change a thing.

Works flawlessly. I really like the efficiently designed menu for accessing the different categories of news. Has just enough news articles to keep me informed without giving me information overload.

This is the number one news app. I love the interface. You will never know how good this app is unless you've tried everything else like I have. The AP (associated press) was the best for a very long time. Now msnbc.com is taking over. I am sure AP will comeback with something better. Until then, this is the number news app.

I like how I can use this app in airplane mode. All the data is there and I can read news without being connected on long flights.

This app is the closest thing to a bible in my world. Checking it daily sometimes 3 to 6 times keeps me in the know and on top of any and all political debates.
