ZMFG this application just took my camera's spot on my home screen. it loads quicker than the default camera!! holy balls, it zooms in 4XXXX with a slim, non-intrusive slider that's always accessible. the photos are really clear with the zoom if you hold steady. PROTIP: the shutter does not go off when you press the button, BUT WHEN YOU LET GO of the button. also, how about one click access to camera roll? sweeter than a little kitty cat. this app is boxxy approved. if you feel it's taking too long to save the pic, then just CALM THE CRAP DOWN, and click out of the application and the photo will be on your roll, yo. oh, yeah. THIS APPLICATION DOESNT COST YOU A SINGLE PENNY AND I AM NOT SEEING ANY ADVERTISEMENTS WHATSOEVER ON IT. if you rate this application any lower than a 4 star, you are a neo-maxi-zoom-dweebie, and you probably have major trust issues and an over inflated sense of self worth and entitlement. so DO IT FARGOT! (that's French for pretty cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything)

The lighing feature is awesome. I had this app before it had lighting, but to be honest that wasn't a big deal to me since I usually like taking zoomed out and in pictures, and the regular iPhone camera allowed me to take a zoomed out picture, and later SS it to get the same picture zoomed in... But this lighting feature allows me to actually take pictures in the dark with no flash :D awesome, completely recommend this!!!

Fastest camera out there

I was looking for a comparatively simple camera app that can replace the standard camera, has a real digital zoom so that pictures when using it aren't blurry, and, above all, I wanted it to load quickly so that I don't need to wait so long for the camera to get ready on my 3G iPhone. This app has all of that and more. And it's free. I've tried out almost all of the paid camera apps out there, and this one is easily the best -- if only because when I see something I want to shoot, I start up the app, and it's ready to go -- twice as fast as all of the other apps out there. It's earned a spot on my phone's permanent menu at the bottom of the screen. Can't wait for the pro version!

@harryg100 I am glad that you liked the app. However I would like to clarify that at present Camera Plus does not have the Anti-Shake feature. This is however a sure addition in the pro version.
@Raw12013 Hey thanks for the comment, although I must say that at present the iPhone Camera only supports Digital Zoom. No other camera app in the App Store provides you with an Optical zoom. Moreover, Camera Plus provides you with the best zoomed quality possible.
We have submitted an update to Camera Plus. We hope all of you will like the new features.

If you were a "caring" photographer you a) wouldn't be asking so much from a camera phone or b) you wouldn't be using a phone to take your pictures in the first place... Stop writing reviews, seriously. On a good note the app isn't that bad. Has a lot of good features like the zoom and flash all in one app instead of two different ones. Of course we all SHOULD know that you lose sharpness and quality most of the time with only using digital zoom, but hey, this is a free app for a phone, not a 5d mark ll!

This is a very good alternative to the default camera app on my 3G. It's quite quick and quality is on a par with default app. The zoom feature is a lot better than that of the competition. IMO it doesn't deserve it's current 2 star rating. I want to encourage the developers to continue their hard work and build off a great foundation. The features of the upcoming Pro version are enough to make me buy.

This app is realy good I remember when the first camera zoom app came out you had to pay for it and it froze alot this one is even better and it dosnt freze :D carnt wait for update :)
