Reviews:
It's compatible to 3.1 By: RA RED - Sep 20, 2009 Version: 1.0.1 This app works so smoothly and seamlessely. It has some limitation but that can be condoned for it's amazingly beautiful interface. I find it better than Desktop version. Another great feature is it can upload video from any album on iPhone 3G S. Facebook and other apps can grab video only from camera roll but this, Twitterfon and Twitterfic can pull videos from any album. 3.1 update lets you put video in any album so this app is totally compatible.
Really impressive By: Chelicerata - Sep 8, 2009 Version: 1.0 Excellent, creative app. I'm pretty impressed. Very usable, and I look forward to the tweaks and streamlinings in future versions. So far my only 2 suggestions are that a) the overlays (title bar and controls bar along the bottom) should disappear faster in fullscreen mode, and b) the swipe gesture to go to the next image in fullscreen mode shouldn't require that you get past the halfway point. It doesn't feel as usable as the phone's built-in Photos app. A great improvement on all flickr options, web or app, out there. Congrats, flickr.
Wow, exactly what I've been waiting for! By: djwebster - Sep 8, 2009 Version: 1.0 I've been carefully creating collections, sets and tagged photos on Flickr for over a year to create a fully-online photo collection. And, I've been hoping for an official app from Flickr that would knock away the third-party apps, which have never been all that exciting. This app is on the level of the quality one would expect from Flickr/Yahoo!, and you can even watch videos that have been uploaded to Flickr on the iPhone (something even Facebook's new app couldn't manage yet). Great job Yahoo!
About time! By: Curb Stompin' - Sep 8, 2009 Version: 1.0 Finally an official app!...Nice clean, easy to navigate user interface.
Pros:
1) Landscape mode.
2) Two views, thumbnail and thumbnail with picture title.
3) Ability to email picture.
4) Search
Cons:
1) Can't delete a picture.
2) Can't delete comments.
3) Can't zoom in or out of a picture.
4) Can't edit tags or picture title.
5) Can only email one picture at a time.
6) Can't save pictures from the app to iPhone/iPod touch photo's.
All in all a nicely done app, just needs the above added.
Improvements. By: NGHayag - 01-Nov-2009 Version: 1.0.3 Hi. First off, I gotta say thanks for releasing flickr for iPhone. It's an outstanding addition to my list of useful apps. I'm a Flickr Pro user for a almost a year already so you can't imagine how much I've been waiting for this to be released. I'd like to point out some options that I think would be make this little app indispensible (as if it's not already):• It's very slow. I compared its loading speed to Mobile Fotos and that's what I came up with. • Would be nice if we can view the EXIFs. That's one of the outstanding features of flickr so why not include it. • An option to add users as contact. • An option in Recent Activity where we can choose to view activities only in our Photostream. • Photo cacheing. • Smaller font for the tags. They're really not important to get that kind of unnecessary highlight.• View user profile. • I think that's it. :)I hope you incorporate these options on the next release. Thanks guys!Cheers,Nathaniel
Almost perfect! By: davidNhouston - Sep 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 Why a 5 when I say almost perfect? First, I love Flickr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, it would be easier to log in through the app itself and to log out without having to be reminded that I'm in Yahoo! too. Keep it simple; log in to Flickr through the app and only Flickr. Log out the same way. Much easier. I do have a Flickr Pro account and will keep it as long as possible. PS The scrolling photos when the app starts is fantastic!!
Fantastic By: bfishadow - Sep 8, 2009 Version: 1.0 Here it goes. Flickr on iPod touch now!
The photo sharing site is my favorite web 2.0 site. Since Facebook has it's client on iPhone and almost every mobile platform, why Yahoo's flickr is missing?
This app is not just another version optimized for mobile phone. This is a whole new design for flickr addicts. You can do so much kore than flickr's mobile web: geo tagging, instant photo sharing, full control of photos...
Thanks Yahoo. I didn't waste these two years waiting. This app rocks!

Great App By: JDM79 - 25-Oct-2009 Version: 1.0.2 I have been using the Flickr mobile site for a while, wondering why there was no app in the app store. So here it is at last! It has a simple and clean interface that doesn't distract from your photos. Contacts are organised nicely and searchable. I also particularly like the ability to email photos as well. One thing I would add is the ability to view groups - hopefully this will be added in a future update.
I love my Flickr!! By: ricardobed - Sep 8, 2009 Version: 1.0 This app totally rocks! Compared to the mobile site, it's way better and easier to use. I love the fact that I can take a photo, geotag it and upload it all in a few simple steps. The Ken Burns effect on the main page is awesome. I love the recent uploads section; it's a very convenient way to keep up with all of my contact's recent uploads. Search works really well and I love how easy is to view people's photostreams and their favorites. I can spend hours and hours looking through photos and comment on my favorite ones. I highly recommend this app.

Prett Decent By: Andrew_V - Sep 19, 2009 Version: 1.0.1 I like the app a lot! It's free and much better than the mobile browser version and everything is really attractive in how it displays. There are a couple things Im hoping for in the next update though.
1. Customizable recent view would be great! So you can choose what you see.
2. Pinch, zoom etc...
3. It would be awesome to be able to view your Flickr stats right in this app...
Still a great app though.
works fine, useless geotagging By: madcow3417 - Sep 8, 2009 Version: 1.0 No problems authorizing, it went straight to safari then back to the flickr app. Uploading was no slower than the desktop app. This is much better than using the standard iphone email that shrinks pictures, and much easier than copying and pasting to get a full sized picture. Would be five stars, but geotagging is a bust. By default it will geotag by wherever you are when you upload the photo (not take the photo). If you turn that off then it will lose the geotag information altogether.
Close, but still a few updates away By: Lewinmg - Sep 8, 2009 Version: 1.0 Slideshow at start is nice
Still can't view latest contact updates
Can't click on a tag and see every photo tagged with it. Can only see that contacts pics with that tag.
No easy way to see pictues in certain groups without finding a photo that was added to that group and getting in there. But it seems to only show pics from that contact in that group.
There are other apps that do all of the above.
Finally By: Hiv0ltg13 - Sep 8, 2009 Version: 1.0 Been waiting for the official app forever. The interface is very nice. Only tested on wifi so far, so the pictures are loading pretty fast.
Cons:
- ability to explore recent/interesting photos would be nice.
- crashed twice when trying to navigate back to the set when looking at a photo inside of that set. (using a 1st Gen. iPhone running OS 3.0)
- ability to zoom in when looking at a photo full screen!!! Very surprised this wasn't a feature.
Good - Needs landscape. By: thirdhand - Sep 15, 2009 Version: 1.0 App is simple and straight forward. Much nicer than the third-party app I had been using. Tag feature is well implemented. Some places for improvement: Landscape mode would make text-entry much easier. I've noticed that if I select a picture and start to enter information about it, and then have to exit the app to look something up (check spelling, read a text), all of that information is gone when I return to the application. It would be nice if it would save this data until the picture was uploaded or deleted from the upload screen. I'd like to see a mass-upload or queued upload feature. App will cancel upload if you exit before the upload is at 100%. Can this be changed to upload in the background? All in all: 4 stars, room to improve.
Not too bad By: krakajap - Sep 15, 2009 Version: 1.0 A little unresponsive when flipping through images. You really have to slide more than normal to go to the next image. There is also no "pinch zoom". This is pretty much standard in any photo app anymore. I'm surprised it was left out of this one. Hopefully an update will correct this. :)
Overall a decent app and hey... It's free! :P
There should also be added functionality for those of us who pay for more photo space. Perhaps a way to mass-edit image info or tag sets. Or even organize the photos by dragging them as you would app icons on the home screen! :)
A great start! By: Hugh Nano - 8-Sep-2009 Version: 1.0 Love the slideshow feature, smooth interface, and easy set, tagging, and privacy features. Browsing is nice too - this is Flickr by Flickr! Needs an easy multiple image upload feature, and it is odd that, when browsing, there is no way to edit your own photos' existing metadata (tags, descriptions, etc.). A great start - I hope this will be actively developed by Flickr and become even better over time!
4 Stars with 5th Pending By: WidgetPhreak - Sep 11, 2009 Version: 1.0 I think this is a great app. Pretty GUI, loads faster than other paid flickr apps i've used.. can't comment on the stability of uploads because i don't use that feature. I think it's miles ahead of the paid flickr apps i've tried... the only thing it's missing is the ability to search flickr groups... or at least groups that you have subscribed to/joined. Add the ability to look at photo groups/pools and I'd give this a 5 stars.
torn By: smarty mcbrainbrain and the thinks-too-much - 8-Sep-2009 Version: 1.0 I'm torn between this and mobile fotos. this one is much more attractive and it navigates really well but mobile fotos has more options.
on mobile photos you can zoom in on photos which is pretty key, also it lets you assign photos to contacts, and save photos.
I think I will keep using mobile fotos and wait for this app to catch up and in the end, hopefully soon it will be as functional now as the facebook app is.
Quality first effort By: fasterisbetter - Sep 11, 2009 Version: 1.0 This app works well for virewing existing photos and videos but needs a couple improvements:
1. Batch uploads - anyone who takes a lot of photos won't like this app for uploading.
2. Slideshow and swipe to change photos - the arrows are small and I'd rather not have to touch them at all when browsing my photos, just run a slideshow.
Definitely worth downloading and using as I'm sure what is now "good" will quickly get better with updates.
