Description:
iEphemeris is an astronomical program for iPhone or iPod Touch.
iEpemeris displays moon phases, the visible surface of the moon, the distance between earth and moon, the Julian Date, the Sidereal Time, the Right Ascension and the Declination of the Moon.
The application can be customized by choosing:
- the hemisphere where you are living;
- the unit system (Meters or English);
- if you want information in real time, or if you wish to set your own time and date;
- enter your own location ( by setting latitude, longitude, elevation and time offset ) or choosing one of the 8.000 preset locations;
- to choose any of all supported languages without change your device settings; changes concern not only the application language, but even the regional settings used by the program (such as dates).
The application is localized in all main languages; Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Turkish.

Love it but needs improvement

Love the price (Free) but some people don't if they live in the Northern or Southern hemisphere. So if the developer could add a way to put in your zip code or select a country that would be great. Also, if you could see where the moon was at a particular moment,(eastern sky, north west, etc...) that would also be awesome. I always try to find the new moon and I never know what direction to look to.

Great job on a near-perfect app. The visuals are beautiful and the data is very practical. I can't complain about anything, especially the price (free!!).
However, I have 2 wishes. In the present version you can only get data on the current lunation. You cannot select a date and time that you would info about, so you can't do future planning with it or look at historic dates. Also, observers often need colongitude data to plan viewing sessions. Add these 2 abiities & it would be a perfect 5 stars app!

Like it a lot, it even tells me the moon cycle when I was born, more than 40 yrs ago. N my daughter didn't believe me that she was born on full moon. This application shuts her up:)

Could do with swipe to switch pages, as tapping on the bottom is a bit counter intuitive, but this is a minor quibble about a great app that looks slick and provides very precise information.

Presents lunar info on a single page, updated in real time. Watching the Earth - Moon distance gradually changing is neat. Almost knocked a star off for poor spelling (the preview pic correctly says "waning" while the app itself says "wanning"!) but hopefully an update will fix that.
