Fun and useful  rating of Pano
By: Tazinlwfl - Mar 7, 2009

I've taken a dozen or so pictures before just to give someone the idea of the size of a space, but now I can take one panoramic and they get it Instantly. I prefer this over the standard photos sometimes - mostly the small 2-3 photo pano (less distortion). We even are having fun with them - my friend was in every shot pretending to fight with the others. It came out great. I only wish there were a simpler way to get them off in full resolution. I have over 2000 photos on my iPhone, so it takes a much longer to load the images in XP or VISTA to grab them off. I've been using DISKAID which has been amazing for it (back ups in general, actually). If there were a way for you to allow full res uploads from the app to some cloud site, that'd be nice...? Maybe port the ip so a browser can access them? Idk Love the app - wish it was a little cheaper - but I still recommend it

This app was well worth the three bucks I spent on it. In fact, after testing it out, I'd say it would have even been of great value if it were priced at five bucks! The merging of pics are quite seamless. It's too bad that I didn't have this app a couple weeks ago when I hiked up Diamond Head Crater here in Hawaii. A panoramic view of the scenary from up there would have been spectacular! This app is a definite must have for you iPhone photographers! ;D

Works on my 3GS!  rating of Pano

Installed, then rebooted the phone. Took 2 panos of 7 shots apiece & it worked great! Was really worried based on other's reviews on their 3GS, but so far mine is working flawlessly! I pull the resulting pano in my Photogene app to sharpen the pic, adjust the contrast & levels & tweak the color balance. The results are awesome! I can't speak for anyone else's experience on their 3GS, but mine is working fine with no crashing as others have reported. Don't know if it matters, but i'm running it under iPhone OS 3.01

Great app.  rating of Pano

I've been using this app successfully in iPhone OS 2.x but it will crash shortly after launching in OS 3.0. I hope the developers will fix it! (Edit: dev's have already updated the app and the crash is fixed... excellent). While they do, if they could also include a time and date stamp on the panoramas it creates that would make it 5 star for me. Edit: received a response from the developer about this - Apple doesn't permit third party apps to edit EXIF data so this won't be possible unless Apple's policy changes or a work around can be found.

Superb (but currently broken under OS 3.0)  rating of Pano

Ignore the fools who find it "too hard to link photos"! This is no harder to use than a regular camera and desktop based stitching software insofar as you need some overlap for the software to work. In fact it's even easier than that, as it shows you exactly what overlap it needs! The basic principles of stitching a panorama dictate you shouldn't try to use close-up scenes as the camera is quite wide-angle and will distort foreground and make the panorama trickier to line up. Again - same as on a desktop app, so Pano can't be criticised for that either. Seems some people think anything on the iPhone must be some kind of magical land of perfection where real world rules cease to apply! In summary: tremendous app. By the way, doesn't work at all under OS 3.0 - won't even load up properly. I'm sure they have an update in for review at Apple though. After all, they've had literally months to sort it out!

Most Used App I've bought  rating of Pano
By: adio_man - Feb 10, 2009

I love pano, this is a great app. I recommend it to anyone as this really captures alot more of the scene than a single one could ever do it justice. For those thinking about buying, you initially take a photo, then when you take the 2nd one in sequence, about an inch of the right side of the 1st photo appears transparently on the left hand side and you can line up the next photo for better alignment, and so on and so forth. Its a great product and money well spent. The camera being what it is, is what holds this app back!! buy it and you'll thank me for it....or more rightly Debacle software!

WONDERFUL!!  rating of Pano
By: Maj. G. H. Nairn - Feb 7, 2009

The best features of Pano I think are it's ability to let in more light when snapshots are taken in low light conditions, I have suggested to Pano to allow us to just take one snapshot because of this in the next update...it would be a great "selling point" Pano!! Also, Pano takes very nice clear and crisp photos and is pretty forgiving when taking several shots that are not lined up perfectly to blend the shots to make your panoramic scene since this has to be done manually by the user....I would rather the software did this automatically but Apps that do this are a lot more expensive. Pano is well worth the few dollars to take great panoramic photos indoors or out.

Great for the money!  rating of Pano

Its very easy to make nice long PANO's with this app. However the only problem im having is that the images are rather small when viewed on desktop. Is this something im doing wrong? i tried to see if i can change the resolution but either in landscape mode or potrait mode, the full resolution of the 6 images i took of the pano are pretty small. I was hoping for something bigger. This must be a problem on my end.

Fantastic app- you'll want to take more photos with your iPhone  rating of Pano
By: Alan Holding - 26-Oct-2008

This app is dead easy to use and you can get great results with it. All you have to do is take four photos that overlap a bit, then Pano does the clever stuff of turning them into one big panoramic image in about half a minute. Dead good. Dead easy. Worth the money and the app can only get better.
One niggle but it's not the developers fault. When you take a photo and get to choose to retake the photo or keep it, the buttons are at a right angle. However, the placement appears to be 'set' by Apple and there's nothing the developers can do about it at the moment. Very minor thing, though, and doesn't take anything away from the app.

Not working right with 3GS  rating of Pano
By: Shlice - Jul 11, 2009
Version: 3.2
This app is not working correctly (or at all) with iPhone 3GS. I love this app and it worked fine on my iPhone 3G but since upgrading to 3GS it crashes my phone everytime. The pano will come out blury and will also make all of my other pictures in my library blury. I had to reboot my phone several times before correcting the problem by deleting the pano made with my 3GS. Hopefully they will fix this problem soon.

Now lets see some other great updates for it with a little bit more options like a zoom in pano-feature something creative....overall nice app one of the most used on my 3gs....great job

Super for those ultra-wide-angle photo ops...  rating of Pano
By: AconaeCat - Oct 1, 2009
Version: 3.2
Since my iPhone camera is usually the only camera I manage to have with me at any given time, I've lately begun delving into a few photo fx and editing apps to enhance my shots pre- blog/twitter/email/idisk. Pano is a useful, fun tool to have on hand for those ultra-wide-angle photo ops. It's easy to align images with the ghosted-out guides, and the resulting panoramas have turned out beautifully. Seems very stable on my 3GS.

I am a photographer, digital slr, point and shoot, whatever, but when I don't have my camera with me, or I just want to take a quick photo, and I wish I could take a panoramic picture, this app is amazing. AND you don't have to be perfect. With little practice I set up a 5 picture and then a 3 picture panoramic photo which, by the way, I edited in photoshop with pretty darn good results. I have 3GS running the latest OS and I had NO issues with the app, with my photo library, or with any other things at all. TOTALLY great app.

My absolute favorite iphone App, simply incredible.  rating of Pano
By: PDC Designer - Jul 7, 2009

This software is nothing short of INCREDIBLE.
It flawlessly stitches the photos together, and it's often IMPOSSIBLE to tell where the seam is. The other amazing thing is how it balances the exposure between the photos. For example, if it suddenly gets darker before you take the last photo (the clouds cover the sun or something) the software compensates for this, and in the result you still can't tell where the seam is. This is really quite an accomplishment. Yes, there is another App called PanOLab which gives you a wireframe 3D globe and you can paste photos on it then have them all stitched together, but the end result for me looked like a bulletin board with a bunch of separate photos pinned to it & each one has a "line" through it where they connect! That's fun, but it is nothing like Pano. Pano results look like a single photo taken with an ultra-high resolution panorama camera. Pano makes simply breathtaking and amazing results that look like magic. I've blown so many people away showing them panoramas on the iphone. Simply Amazing.

Worth the Cost  rating of Pano
By: Brad3D - Dec 7, 2008
Version: 2.0
It was worth the cost to me. Few Crashes in a month of use and Many Panos. The seams are better in the new v2.0. As good as most desktop pano software. Horiz and Vert Panos can be made, 1 row only. Cam Can now be in either direction for the pano, new in 2.0. Works with 2 to 6 images. 2 Image panos are very handy to make wider images quick. Sunset image of NY on Flickr group was good enough to make me buy this. They addressed almost all my requests in this new version. It's a 5 star app.

If you want to take Panoramic photos, this is what you need! Period. Update (9/15): Please don't listen to the people saying it's low res or that it crashes all the time. Those people clearly don't know what they are talking about. Any issues (some) people have/had should have been resolved with the 3.1 OS update. The photos Pano make are anything but low res.... they are as high as how many photos you take and stich together. Get a clue people, seriously! twitter.com/josh_hofer

Works GREAT!!  rating of Pano
By: Jen4t25 - Nov 10, 2008

I am shocked at how well this app works. Since I bought this app a few days ago I've taken a bunch of pics & they all came out great! I'm so hooked! Even zoomed all the way in where the two pictures meet you can't even see any seams. I took a few pictures where I didn't think I lined it up that well but the picture came out great, I don't know how it does it but it blends the pictures VERY well. The developers seem very cool too. Check out their flickr group pool from the URL they have in their description & you can really see how great the pics come out from other people that bought this app. This app is def worth the $2.99 for sure!!
