At first glance, this looked like a simple app that I might only play with here and there. Now I use it all the time. It's super east and the end result is a very artsy looking panoramic photo. Combine this app with some of the other photo editing app available and one can make some pretty cool looking stuff.
This app isn't a photo merging app. This app will allow you to combing multiple picture to create a panorama that is in perspcetive. I love finding new things to take photos of and making the panoramas. The app can also be used to make some pretty cool looking layered photos.
All in all, I love it.

I think anyone who gives it a bad rating expects to much or seriously lacks creativity. Yes it doesnt perfectly aline images but it creates a brilliant David Hockney type effect & It's fast. (it makes me feel like it doesnt matter that they are discontinuing polaroids) As with the impressionist painters, limiting your pallet sometimes forces you to be creative. I think i will be playing with this lots and looking forward to putting the results on my blog.
Thanks to the app makers for this one. from Funky Love Bunny Update to review: now more stable when using many source images. The new forward/backward/remove feature helps heaps! The 'drag to align' sign that gets in the way can now be switched off & When using the forward backward feature u can now rotate aswell. Wish list - To bloat/correct the middle when shrinking a large image to stop it pinching so much when you crop. To control the crop dimentions (I do it in photogene at the moment) Since I first wrote this review a pro version has been added that addresses other feature wishes

To those complaining this does not create "real" panoramic images, that's part of the awesomeness of this app. The point (as I see it) is to get different exposure levels, lighting adjustments, even coloration as you take multiple photos, then stitch them together to create a dynamic, interesting image. Not to simply create typical and boring panoramic composite photos.
If you're a creative person, and are looking for something that gives you some very interesting creative flexibility, Panolab is fantastic.

This is an amazing FREE app... one of my favorite apps available. It does EXACTLY what it's description states! Many people are complaining about issues that can be resolved by buying the the Pro version (auto saving, larger export/wider aspect ratios, adjustment of individual photos). I personally love that it doesn't blend the photos absolutely seamless. The subtle shifts in white balance and exposure from picture to picture give it a great collage look. If you don't like that look, the pro version can correct that!

This app is a really solid concept with a really good user interface and is really strikingly satisfying to use. It does seem to crash fairly often, but hopefully the pending update will fix that. The one thing it needs is the ability to save a panorama so that you can look at it later. Export as quicktime VR would be great. It also needs to have the ability to delete a photo from a panorama once it has been added. After these changes this will become easily my favorite app so far.

Great app that will get better with updates.

Great app. Mine crashes once I take around 5 pictures to add. I would love to see the ability to zoom individual photos (in addition to the current rotate) while stitching. Having a full resolution output would be great too. These are a few things that I would like to see in an update (in addition to some other things that have been said in reviews). Regardless, this is a great app, pick it up!

This app is awesome, though not perfect. Pros: it allows you to easily create panoramas from pictures already in your phone's photo library, or taken with your phone's camera. UI is solid, very easy to figure out, and just plain fun. Cons: Tends to be unstable and crash if your panorama has many pictures. Also, the current panorama cannot be saved as a work in progress, only exported to your phone's photo library, and the export function is limited to a 1024 x768-sized panorama, which is a little too constricted. Resolve these issues, and you have one of the greatest free apps in the store. A must-download.

A warning, this application does not *blend* panoramas, so the photos won't be smoothly joined. That said, this application is a ton of fun, and manually aligning the images you take is easy and intuitive - even if the results are not completely seamless.
Personally, I think the roughness adds a kind of charm to the finished results. One tip i'll give is to shoot your source photos in the default camera app and then pull them into panolab from the roll. This will allow you to take the photos in quicker sequence so that your perspective won't change too much between shots.

People who want perfect stitching and seamless photos are missing the point of this app in my opinion. The great thing about PanoLab is the unique ability to stitch together images in a non-linear fashion and do all kinds of cool effects and combinations. Complaining that it's not making perfect images is like complaining that a Holga image has dark edges. It's part of the appeal.

It's free!
Incredibly simple to use.
Smart and intuitve application.
The panoramas you can make look brilliant.
Cons:
After 10 pictures the program goes super slow.
(The most annoying thing for me) the saving feature! Saving works neatly but you can't capture panormas on nearly a full scale as I would have hope, the app gives you a confined space to save, and you can't edit your panoramas once you have left the application.
Otherwise brilliant. A must have for the iPhone. So fun and seeing that it's free, why not?!

This is my first review after trying so many apps. Give this program a try, and you won't be dissapointed. The app works a lot better than expected for a free one. If a few features were added I'd happily pay for it... Crashing after 10 pics is a pain, it stops things being truly epic. Saving the 3d version of the world is a must. Editing the placment of an image once it's been placed (maybe there are ways of doing this, but I've not found them) Adjust brightness and contrast of an image as the iPhone camera isn't forgiving with it's auto settings. Finally more varied and higher res outputs... I know that's some big features there but it would make this app a must have for everyone. Maybe this version could remain free and the improved could be paid for? Either way thanks to the people who made this!

Brilliant that this is free and is such a great app. Shame about not working properly when adding lots of pics. But hey it's an app worth paying for!! Sort of apps needed on iPhone rather than 4,000,000 to-do's ... original and great. Easy to use as well. Not 5 stars cause of slight problems ... but only very slight. Almost gave 5 stars anyway cause of being nice and free. Well done indeed for this brilliant app. Await updates egerly!

This app has great potential. A number of flaws need to be addressed but if these are acheived this would be a 5 star app.
As others have mentioned there is a lag and I have also had the app crash when there are quite a few photos (8-10) in the pano.
Secondly, is it possible to update the app so that the panoramas will save in a 3d environment within the application itself? Whilst it is a nice feature to be able to save the panos to the Photo Library this would surely be a winning feature that users would love. The beauty of panoramas is almost lost when they are viewed as a straight picture within Photos, to be able to go back and view them using the 3d feature already installed in the app when aligning your pictures would enhance the experience greatly. I look forward to any updates and wish you all at PanoLabs well.

I LOVE taking and stitching panoramas. I came across this app and was immediately intrigued. The interface is super easy and intuitive. None of the included apps allow you to rotate anything just a few degrees, so that's fun. However, you MUST know that this app does not blend the stitched pictures or correct distortion. This means that you will never be able to create a super wide picture without being able to tell it was stitched. It's the equivalent of taking printed pictures and tacking them next to each other. It's an amazing interface worth playing with, but it's not a pro app... not that it should be given the limited integrated camera.

Ok, I'm glad someone made this app. It's fairly user-friendly but most of all it's free! However, some ESSENTIAL features are only found on the pro($4.99)version, whichim not going to pay for because I know that if I keep checking back, someone else will release a free version with all the bells and whistles such as control of: white balance, contrast, auto-stitching, etc... So, how's about the maker of this awesome app go ahead and update this one with those advanced features for free and make your $ with ads OR release some super-advanced-pro-version that only rich people who dont know any difference will buy. Keep up the good work!

Although this program has crashed on me a few times, I absolutely love it. All my photos seem to be converting to panoramas and the creative possibilities are endless. This app makes the iPhone camera a blast.
