Just bought the app and I am enjoying the creative ways I can use this. I am especially happy that this app makes it so that my dog can take pictures with me or I can take pictures of him using the rear camera feature. It's great that pets can join in on the fun! Here are future suggestions to make this app even better for me, and to retain my five star rating.1). Ability to turn off timers. Would be nice to have the option to control when to capture shots.2). Ability to mms pictures. Sometimes there are great slides I just want to share right away with my family and friends. 3). More lens effects options such as sephia, blue monochrome, and so on. Thanks for developing a creative, simple, and intuitive app! I would of paid 2.99 if all of the suggested features were included. Keep the updates going! I'm really looking forward and excited for them!

quite simply, it does what it says. I recommend sending the medium or large images if you email them, for quality's sake. I like that I can print the 3-photo strips two-up on 4x6 photo paper. And when I wasn't getting my emailed test images (turns out they were being diverted to my junk folder), the company's tech support couldn't have been more generous with their time or more constructive and friendly in their trouble shooting. It was all very Apple-like, and I like that. Based on those experiences, this app will only get better, though I'm hard pressed to suggest how it could do so.

This app really shows care in re-creating the true vintage photobooth experience. The graphics and attention to vintage details are really cool. For maximum enjoyment, bust this app out at a party or when some friends are over. The only downside is your phone (or I guess iPod, I think it works with those too) will be constantly passed around and hard to get back since people are having so much fun.At this point (I've used the app for probably an hour with four or five groups of friends), I can't think of anything I'd want changed. Sure, this app provides a super-accurate, faithful recreation of a vintage photobooth - but it doesn't stop there. You can use either front or rear camera to take the photos… now on first glance I thought "That's dumb - it's totally inconsistent with the vintage details and breaks the 'photobooth' metaphor." But really, it's a killer feature that I keep using over and over and which has provided a whole new level to the experience of the app. Not only does it mean the app runs on my wife's 3Gs, but I've been surprised by how much I've enjoyed using the "rear camera" setting to take sets of 4 images together on a strip while out running, or at a park, or anywhere I can make a little "photo essay strip". It's a super fun creative exercise.Oh, and one last note. I also have IncrediBooth and liked that app okay, but there were things about it that bugged me or which were a little un-intuitive. When trying to show that app off with friends, I found myself having to "supervise" a bit to explain how to use it, and my friends and I kept running into the same frustrations (especially in regard to the slow, awkward way you have to review photo strips on that app) Not so with PocketBooth - everything is intuitive and easy. My friend's 18-month-old can even find the app icon, start the app, and take pictures of herself. It's that easy to use! Now I'm just wondering what I was thinking letting a toddler play with my $300 device. :) It really is that simple to use, though. Just an all-around fun, useful app.

It's all in the details with this app: the fit and finish is beautiful, it works like a charm, and it's true to the legacy of the real photobooths we all remember.The wood grain, '50s green plastic, and metallic details look great. The options are nice, too: color or b/w, matte or glossy, and three or four photos per strip. The app feels like a real photobooth: the mirror and lights are there, the photos drop down into the metal slot, and even the strips themselves mimic the dimensions and appearance of the old strips. It's really the next best thing to a real photobooth in your pocket.

I also own Photo Booth Classic Plus, which I just discovered laterally reverses the photos taken with the front camera on an iPhone 4. THIS app has a "mirror", which of course would laterally reverse the image, but the final prints are fine.2 things I do like about the "other program" I would like to see imported into this version. I do like the "countdown timer" feature, and wish this version had it. I don't like not being "ready" for when the camera is going to fire. The app says to watch for the Red light, but it is red all during the shooting. The other thing is I might want to shoot in color and change it to black and white after the fact, or vice versa. The "other program" has a slider, which is perfect, because often a muted color version is perfect, looking like you shoot it from a 60's photo booth. That said, I love the look and feel of this program, although I actually miss the opening splash screen after using this program once. It lets new users know what they are 'stepping into". Perhaps this could be an option in preferences, because I'm sure many would want the camera to come up immediately. Oh, and the "thank you" strip (slide it from the right)- VERY COOL!!

Yeah. This is the one to pick up.

I've tried the other, but I like Pocketbooth better; Incredibooth won't make the cut again on the next sync. Can't think of any much for future versions, aside from a few more modes like, maybe, "Found on the Floor" (to make the pic look damaged, crinkled and torn), or the ability to connect strips end-to-end.

Actually had to stop playin' with this app to write this. Whole lotta fun, with a nostalgic twist. If you take a lot of portrait pics, you'd do well to get this app. Great fun. I highly recommend this to one and all
