Description:
Essential privacy application featured on Info Mac, Fresh Apps, Apptism, and other sites. Keep your pictures safe from prying eyes! The perfect application for anyone who wants to keep people from accidentally seeing their private pictures. √ Fully compatible with pictures from all iPhone devices √ Save, view, and export pictures at original resolution √ Swipe to change pictures √ Pinch for zoom √ Use a longer password for better security √ View pictures in a slideshow √ Arrange folders and pictures directly √ Email pictures without exporting √ Set a decoy password √ Create an entire decoy library √ Add multiple pictures from the image picker HIDING PICTURES Applications cannot delete pictures from your Photo Library. If this changes, I will provide a free update. If you want pictures to only be available in Private Pics, please delete the originals from the Photo Library after adding. EMAIL Direct email feature is experimental because 3rd party applications could not send email with attachments in OS 2.2.1. It works emailing directly from iPhone or iPod to another iPhone or iPod, but images may be removed by other email clients. Specifically, web based email clients will likely not be able to receive images. Email support was added to OS 3.0, so this feature will be included in the next update. MMS SUPPORT Applications cannot access the SMS or MMS messaging system on the iPhone. A workaround is to export the item you wish to send via MMS. SUPPORT If you have a problem, please contact support. Your problem may already be fixed and in review. Otherwise, it is not possible to contact you. Thanks! NOTE ON EXPORTING If you imported pictures on a jailbroken iPhone, then you will probably not be able to export from within the application. Jailbreaking removes all security protection, alters permissions on the iPhone, and results in unpredictable behavior. For this reason, the application is not supported on jailbroken devices. A workaround to export those pictures is to view full screen, then take a screenshot (press the top and home button at the same time and release). This will place a copy of the picture in your Photos library. However, you will have screen resolution, not the full original resolution you would have exporting from the application. Note to international customers: The screen shots are in English. However, the application is fully localized in Italian, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese. Thank you for supporting Private Pics! ☺ The Dreaming Phone the_dreaming_phone david_earnest

Real App here By: mex67 - Apr 1, 2009 Version: 3.2 It's a good app and has only improved over time. SOLID app after you add landscaping. This app is way better and cheaper than the others like it
(previous review)
Email from within the app?!? How cool is that? I like the decoy password option too. Very useful in a pinch. I needed an app like this and it seems there was more heart and character put into this app than your competitors. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Amazing By: SpiritScout - Jan 17, 2009 Version: 2.2 Well I bought this when I found out that my friend got his itouch taken away because he had some pics that his parents found out about.
Right now I do have some requests, but I still give 5 stars due to price and the fact that I get to hide my pics and keep my itouch. Here are my requests:
- Ability to rename( coming in new update)
- Storage of videos ( even a new app would be awesome)
- Ability to view next pic from the pic you are looking at
- easier to rename photos
- when I go back to my menu of photos it goes back up to the top of the menu
Those are my critiques but an update will maybe fix those or some of them.
Awesome By: Ryan Trevino - Jan 11, 2009 Version: 2.2 UPDATE: new update has everything changed except name. I got it while it was .99 cents get it while you can
Nice app perfect for hiding those pictures of the romantic getaway and displaying them in full resolution. I'd like go see the sidebar fade that is displayed while it is in the slideshow mode. An update to eventually add and hide videos also. I haven't had anyone ask what privacy pic is but maybe a different name would discourage them from when asking.
Great appl. It is a photo locker! By: Aviausi - 23-Nov-2009 Version: 4.2 Nice appl. With ease of locking the pvt. Pic's from public.I would suggest following options to be added:- it should have the feature of importing the pics from web directly.- it shouldn't limit to the pic's only it should allow to store some pvt. Applications & videos also to be stored in it also could be used within the application.I believe if these two things will be added than this application will be the best
Pretty good, but a few suggestions By: pixUser - Mar 13, 2009 Version: 3.2 Overall, I think this is a good app, but I'd like to see a few enhancements in future updates. Add functionality to rotate and see landscape oriented photos in full frame. When importing photos into Private Pics, allow an entire folder of photos to be imported, rather than one at a time. Display thumbs in a table layout, rather than one thumb per line. I also noticed that, when importing photos, a single tap on a thumbnail often imported the pic twice.
thi is great. By: ruinblue - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 2.0 what i was looking for. anyway it can be improved. plz make us put images in wallpaper on the app. and emailing also. and i think it would be great with zooming by double tapping, and folders, and exporting importing multiple images at a time.
and can u make the same app for videos and notes? it would be great if u add the function to this app but i can pay more!!
2bux is worth!! for this app. plz upgrade this app continuously.
Does what I need By: rayray1974 - Dec 22, 2008 Version: 2.0 It's no joke people just start snooping on your phone without even considering that what they stumble on was suppose to stay private. A friend asks to borrow your phone and when finished starts to play on your phone. I now have no worries since this app stores my private images in an app and not in photo's. Once in the app folder you do have to remove your images from the photo folder. You can email the image by exporting the image back to photos.
App did hang my phone once already within minutes of using it and jumps to home while editing. Other than that it works for my needs.
Great app, does what it says on the tin By: MuffinDCC - 14-Nov-2009 Version: 4.2 Great app, I've had no problems with it whatsoever. Personal points for improvement: 1. Use the numpad unlock mechanism rather than a text based one, or at least an option for it, as it would make it easier to use and more integrated into the device; 2. Option to edit name of folders, rather than have to create a new one; 3. Ability to have a different password for each folder; 4. A parameter to disable a thumbnail for a particular folder; 5. General UI improvements so it looks more integrated, such as the "Create New Folder" popup, looks messy. You get what you pay for, its a password protected photo repository which can take private photos from your camera and move when necessary. 4 stars.
Perfect Hiding Spot By: Dudeizm - Apr 5, 2009 Version: 3.2 Excellent application for hiding those certain photos you don't want prying eyes to accidentally stumble upon.

Perfect By: Spar13 - Mar 13, 2009 Version: 3.2 This works perfectly, now I can hide pics my gf sends me from co-workers who want to know what I'm hiding
3.2 update !!!!!!! By: Crisco81 - Mar 11, 2009 Version: 3.2 I can't ask anymore from this app!!! It is truly professional compared to other apps of it's kind. Works great and yes, that really was the update I've been waiting for!! I could go on about all the features that make it a very usable app. Thanks a lot!
Great update! By: nervebreaker - Mar 10, 2009 Version: 3.2 Decoy is great! Just remember to put some pics in there that you might have a reason to hide so it doesn't look suspicious!
SWEEEET! By: Migz18 - Feb 25, 2009 Version: 3.2 Great application, and now this latest update makes it even better! Totally worth the money. May I suggest for a future update that you add the ability to zoom in on the pics with the pinch option??? Please?????
Awesome By: RoCkEr699 - Feb 24, 2009 Version: 2.2 It's pretty awesome. It would be cool if it was name PP cus my gf wonders bout it
Works great! By: PabloHunny - Jan 28, 2009 Version: 2.2 Does what I needed it to do, only wish it had the option to make folders (I like my stuff organized) grabbed this one mostly for the ability to export.
Developer, a folder option if not difficult to add would make a world of difference to the end user!! Thanks for a great app!

A must have! By: msf531 - Jan 13, 2009 Version: 2.2 For those times you do not want your kids or friends seeing your pix!
Great app but could use more By: krazman1435 - Jan 11, 2009 Version: 2.2 This appbis perfect but I think you should be able to make photo albums with it and when you veiw a photo it shouldn't take you all the way back to the top and you should also be able to export all of the photos at the same time
Great stuff By: Mmorr - Jan 11, 2009 Version: 2.2 This program works good w/no problems
Love it
