all the options to fiddle with make this app really great and makes the fun of it last a very long time.
the only gripe I have is: why are the options for borders and vignettes in the iPhone's general settings rather than in the apps settings themselves. going back and forth to change the settings mid shooting really kills the flow. i don't use borders all that much but vignettes i turn on and off quite frequently.
I hope this will be implemented in an update where all the settings are integrated together.
otherwise - great app! "two enthusiastic thumbs up".

This a great app. Tons of fun, and like most peope I think I must have taken more pics with this app in five mins than I had with the normal camera. I really like the lomo effect that you get. Would be cool if there was an option to use the app to get the best single pic of somthing fast moving, so you grab 4-8 pics then choose the best one and dump the rest. Very clever that you use a grab of the screen to make the pics, that's definetly thinking outside the box, and the loss of resolution is worth the cool pics I get. Would be good to have icons on screen for setting, but not a deal breaker. Keep up the good work and I look forward to any updates.

Way cool to not review

This, I would have to say, is the first review that I've written. Only because this app is way to cool not to review. I like taking pictures but don't like walking around with a camera at all times. And I like to take different pictures and fast pictures at any givin time. This app allows me to do both and an awesome new preview method that allows me to slowly look at my work. Combine with another app, makes taking and keeping pictures on the iPhone worth it. Way to go with this one. With more up dates and combinding other apps, it makes the iPhone have an unlimiteless amount of coolness.

...to write a review for this fantastic app. Like the chap above I have literally taken more photos with my iPhone camera since I've installed this app than in the whole time I've had my iPhone, five months. The vignetting and colour settings that the prog applies to your images gives your pics a Lomo feel (giving your memories a lovely rose tint, not literally). Splendid app as it is but a few minor gripes: wish that it was possible to have a four-shot pic stitched up from full-res pics (I believe that the four pics are stitched from screen grabs iPhone res) and for different colour settings, the default settings are slightly cold for my likings but otherwise a fantastic app which has changed the way I use my iPhone camera. Five stars.

This app worked fine prior to the 3.0 update. The creator ALREADY STATED that he sent in a 3.0 update for approval. IF YOU LEFT A 1 OR 2 STAR REVIEW BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE YOU ARE EITHER A COMPLETELY IGNORANT FOOL, OR ILLITERATE. When will you people learn to read.
This is a 4 star app at the least, it's fun and it's a great way to express some of your creative ideas. I look forward to the update! APPLE HURRY UP!

This is an excellent app and well worth the money. The newest update with autofocus and zoom just bring the 5 stars to a 6, if it were possible. Works a dream, never crashes, choices of panoramic & quad photo plus, it even allows you to choose the length of time inbetween snaps! Can't fault it. Thanks guys. Just an idea, would it be possible to include photo editing such as color change & crop in a future update?

This software definetly brings the camera function of the original iPhone to the next level. Well done! Keep up the great work! Just a suggestion: It would be great if the option panel can be make larger same as the original iphone button and selection interface as my fingers are thicker, I am having some problems with the current small option interface. Very much looking forward to your next update. Cheers!

Excellent by Design and Easy User Interface

This is one of the must have app for Polaroid multipix and the user interface is clean and easy to use. One extra plus the progress bar. Well done I oppose to a previous reviewer as useless for normal user. Photography is not take and delete, but think before you take. Normal user will eventually become a good photographer if you put your effort of taking advantage of any camera and photo skills.

I have a full page of photo apps and this is the one I use the most. It takes wonderful series of pictures, and I love the different layouts and color options. Absolutely worth the download price - my very favorite fun photo app. Hope Apple pushes through the update soon - I upgraded to OS3 and for now, can't use my Quad Camera. I like this app enough that if Apple doesn't add the update within a week or so, I'll try to step down to the old firmware so I can have my Quad Camera back.

I love the app and how the shots turn out - it's like having a Super Sampler in your bag :)
A couple of things I think might be useful though, are:
a visual indication on the screen in addition to the shutter sound to tell when it's taking a shot (it's hard to hear the shutter sound when there's a lot of background noise);
maybe a counter so you can see how many shots are left to be taken (so you don't have to count the shutter sound, or just guess if it's too loud);
a button that takes you to the photo album (or at least a quick "review last photo" button, which maybe then could have a link to the album...).

This app takes the crispest photos without using the accelerometer to judge stability. Night Camera works well enough, but with this app there's no waiting! Instant shutter speed power! Higher res and landscape mode are on my wishlist. Also colour filters? That would turn the iPhone into an all purpose Lomo rig. Being able to change the layout was an unexpected bonus. This is an excellent app. You can set the interval between shots and the style of the images, either 4 or 8, and I love the processing effect, which makes the pictures look like they are from a Lomo.
Do a search for QuadCamera on flickr to see some of the cool effects and images you can capture with this app.
Also, very stable for me and it loads up faster than the iPhone Camera app!

It's also my first review of any app from the dozens I've downloaded from all genres. I am a professional photojournalist and filmmaker. I can easily choose from a wide variety of pro cameras. But this app has become my personal favorite for a rather strange reason. It's a lovely use of the iPhone camera but for me it's like a photographer's game. For example, start with four images and set the pref for the longest time between exposures. Choose your subject/s and try to create a cohesive "photo essay" within the time allowed. It's harder to do than it sounds - even for a pro. I have been using it for at least a month or more and have never grown bored. And, did I mention that it also produces some excellent images?

This doesnt do high res stuff, but it does a GREAT look anyway. Don't expect to print 8x10's from these- its not meant for that. Heck... iPhone cam isn't meant to do that! Don't blame the app. This gives a great, gritty look that pro's use...but in a fun, inexpensive, easy to use, convenient app. I know...because I'm a pro who got turned onto it by another pro who loves this app. In the not so common words... "you get MORE than what you pay for!" things are never perfect and never fits everyones needs all the time, but still gets five stars.

This is by far the best addition to the horrible, built-in iPhone camera. It takes excellent photos and perfect settings to fine tune to your needs. My only complaint is the maximum resolution of the images -- sometimes you'll get an awesome sequence of images but each individual image is actually tiny (depending on layout) when viewed full size... • update: the 3.0 update finally arrived and I bumped the stars back up -- about time. Thanks...
