DataVault for the iPhone is the BEST!! I used it on my Blackberry and my Desktop for years and loved it BUT when I switched to the iPhone 2 years ago I was horrified that it wasn't available! I tried 2 other apps in the meantime but uggg, they were not near as good as DataVault. I checked every couple of months to see if Ascendo had joined the iPhone Applications and finally one day....YAY!!! There it was!! I bought it and installed it!! I had a couple of questions regarding syncing to my desktop since my version was outdated, but I emailed Acendo and they got right back to me with specific instructions! This app is easy, user friendly, looks great and is a secure way to keep your data with you on the go. THANKS ASCENDO!!!

I keep everything in DataVault - from passwords, to insurance info, to frequent flyer programs, to credit cards, to gate codes. Work and personal information is easy to separate as well. This application is flexible enough that I can create my own templates (I did so a number of data points I needed stored that weren't created by default) so information is organized in a way that makes sense to me. This is an invaluable part of digital life, allowing me to maintain security (i.e. separate passwords for various sites) with access to every piece of information at my fingertips without needing to go searching or worrying about prying eyes.

I have used this app with Blackberry for over 2 years before I got my iphone. The transition between the Blackberry and iphone was seamless. It found all my existing data and loaded directly to my iphone. This is a great app and I fully recommend it to all who have trouble remembering all their passwords, logins, and security questions like I do. Ascendo got this one absolutely right. It is a great little app for only 5 bucks.

I have used Ascendo Data Vault for years on 4 different BlackBerry models. Words cannot describe how pleased I am that one of my most-used BlackBerry apps is now available on the iPhone! There is no better password manager available. This is the one you need, and you will not be disappointed with it. It looks terrific and works every bit as well. Desktop sync-ups were flawless even with the beta versions. Great work, guys! Thanks so much!

I used DataVault when I was on a BlackBerry. When I moved to the iPhone, I wanted this app badly. I was able to get into the beta and knew from early on that this was going to be a great app! Now that it's finally available in the app store, I recommend that if you need a password manager, you get this app! Not only is the app everything I need, you can also get the DataVault desktop (windows only?) and sync with the iPhone database! The desktop app imports many different file formats that you can then send to your iPhone.

This was hands down my favorite app on my BB before I converted to the iPhone. I have been waiting for them to develop the app and it was worth the wait. The application is easy to use, very user friendly and has the best organization out there of any of the iPhone apps I have used for password management. The tree list view and the display of ithe details for each item make it easy to see user names, password etc. Ascendo has the best customer service of anyone I have ever dealt with, they give detailed, prompt response to questions and issues or concerns. This app is easily worth the $5 you pay for it, I love the OTA sync option, and hope in the future that they develop a wired sync option as well as a Mac client.

I have been looking for a password manager for my iPhone since I got it. I have tried a few different ones - both free and paid. Since I have started using Ascendo Datavault, I have stopped looking. The ease of entry (on iPhone or desktop), the encryption, the wireless syncing with desktop, the different icons, and on and on makes this the best and most user friendly password manager app available. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who has numerous passwords but wants one secure app to manage them all.

I love my iPhone and the new DataVault for the iPhone allows me to have all of my important data on hand. I can securely carry in my iPhone all my information for credit cards, frequent flyer, insurance, banking, access passwords, membership and identifiaction numbers in one, compact secure and portable place. The DataVault application has worked with no problems. Syncing is accurate, reliable and easy to use. Thank you Ascendo for developing great software.

This is the easist to use, and most powerful locker for ALL my personal information. the tree structure makes it easy to separate by type, and now on the iPhone fantastic to have with me all the time. It syncs with the desktop version, so i always have the up-to-date version at hand. The fact that all the info is encrypted gives me a sense of security if the phone is lost or stolen... After email, this is the most important application on my mobile device. Being able to sync it with the desktop version on my PC makes it that much better. I use it on a daily basis, since I have long ago passed the point where I can remember all my userids, passwords, frequent flyer numbers, etc. If, like me, you are a previous Blackberry user, you will find the transition easy enough. I needed a little help because I was using an older version on my BB, but the customer service was amazingly prompt in responding to my email. You won't regret choosing this.
Terriffic port to iPhone

I have used your Ascendo DataVault product for a number of years on my Blackberry and was elated when you ported it to the iPhone. I have found it to be one of the easiest security apps to use and provides the highest degree of encryption. More importantly, I was able to easily sync the Blackberry database to my new iPhone by using Desktop version 4.5.
In addition, similar applications usually require data entry directly on the device which can be tedious. The desktop client provides a very effective tool for immediately entering data while I am surfing the net, using programs, etc. and then syncing to my iPhone - a real time saver! I should also add that I am an Ascendo Fitness user and look forward to your port to the iPhone. Keep up the great work on great hand held software!

I used this on a blackberry and loaded the iPhone version when I got an iphone instead. It works great and I was able to use the same desktop version with all my data. The only thing I don't like is that it is hard to sync to the desktop. You have do some screwy over the air syc and give it your computer IP address. It was not easy to get working but eventually with the help of their very good support it worked. No idea why it doesn't syc through Itunes.

I had previously written a review of Datavault and its desktop companion. I had a little problem. The same day I wrote the review in iTunes, Ascendo contacted me to fix the problem. I gave 4 stars before. I going to give 5 stars now for the excellent customer support and the great iphone app and its desktop application. Both of them are very solid.
