This app has a wonderful user interface and the visuals really help to set it apart from other noting apps. AwesomeNote is extremely easy to use and the bulletin board style display makes viewing posts simple and intuitive. I do like the fact that folders can be customized with colors and icons. And it's also pretty cool that you get a set of fonts to vary things up a bit. But as many people have already suggested, this app is in need of more folder color and icon options. The selection available now is very limited with only 4 color options and a small handful of icons to choose from. I'm sure this can easily be fix with an update. It's definitely not a bad start but for the price developers may want to offer the customer a bit more.

I was looking for a "relatively" simple note app and hesitated over the price, but Awesome Notes (+To-do) is well worth it. Works great and lightening fast. My particular favorites are the Quick Note, different views, fonts, colors and themes, the ability to move notes from one folder to another, and all changes can be made easily and quickly. The little arrow that closes the keyboard should be a default feature on the iTouch from the get-go, and landscape mode is much appreciated. Very easy to learn and use. Great app and worth the price.

Fantastic Notes Ap... I bought it looking for a program for Journaling, but have found that this is perfect for A TON of other things. I locked it on my tool bar because I use it for: recording quick notes throughout the day (so I can access them and file 'em later) via the 'post its'; keeping detailed records of the day's events (meetings, client calls, etc.) which can also be broken apart and placed into different folders. I'd say that I use this ap nearly as much as my daily planner and have NO major complaints. The only features I'd really consider improvements would be: 1) Get crackin' on the passwords for individual folders (brilliant idea - much better than one password for the whole program)! and 2) let users import graphics for icons for folders - You don't need to create any more, just let us access our photos page to pick 'em. By FAR one of the most COMPLETE aps I've bought on here. For anyone serious about being able to take important note or journaling, this is a MUST HAVE! Thank you BRID!

Surprisingly elegant and multifaceted. UI is exceptional, flexible, and intuitive. Fluid interface effects. Perfect for my use; needed app to categorize and organize thoughts, current to-do list, and future projects. Could be made more perfect by online synchronization account. All in all: most pleased. Great application. Would pay $20 or more for this little gem. A must have for all iPhone and iPod Touch owners.

This app is insanely sticky (can't stay away). I have used and abused it. I have called on support for help and recieved it. I use it for pleasure and pain. If I forget something it is without exception, my fault now. Everything about this application speaks quietly of quality. The UI makes me want to sit with a mocha or a beer and fritter away an entire afternoon. The privacy lock makes it easy to store info not for all eyes. Even the color palette is a cut above. Nice work people... Other than that, I hate it.

This app is the bomb! Its a to do note and password keeper! I have been intiminated by buying the full version beacuse its 4 dollars (i don't like buying apps) untill i was about to writh my eleventh note when it sayed i cant do anymore notes beause its the lite version. i loved it so i just bought it. Two days after it was my favorite app. it has so many uses. THANK YOU BRID! THIS IS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The app is absolutely fantastic!!! Can't wait for the new update in the next coming days... 1 more thing & the app would be even better.. If u r laying down & holding the iPhone horizantely, the landscape mode is great but if u tilt it a bit more - so u r nearly holding the phone upside down - it will change 2 the normal mode, can u fix that & do like safari, in safari if u were in landscape & then u hold the phone upside down, it won't change.. I hope u guys got the idea...Thanks 4 such a gr8 app & keep up the good work...

Updated 9.21.09 (Awesome Note 2.0) Love the new task management features. Simple, smart and elegantly done. Now can combine notes and todos in one app. Integration is good. Now your Todos have never looked so good. A few more useful features like photo attachments and full google docs sync are coming in future update according to website. I put my vote in for some possible future enhancements ... Clickable urls in notes/todos (data detection) Selection of plain pastal color backgrounds (yellow, blue, green, violet, etc.) Bulleted / Numbered lists Calendar view for tasks by due date Word Count of text Flagged notes / todos and be able to sort by them Home button on every view Sub-folders (and be able to view contents of from inside a parent folder) Trash can for deleted notes (extra level of protection) Push notifications for items with due dates. That may be a tall order I know, but thought I'd throw them out there as ideas for future updates. Awesome Notes currently owns one of the spots on my bottom bar. And it's freed up one because it combines two apps in one -- note and todo. Great job on this 2.0 update! Previous review (4 out of 5): AwesomeNote is a great app and quite a functional and good looking notebook. Few features ... Search. Creation date of note -- in addition to modification date. Comment: If you open a note and click anywhere it updates the modification date, which is fine but there's no way of knowing when a note was created without manually typing in that info. As is, if sorting by date you are only going to see notes at top that were modified yesterday - even if they were created over a month ago. Also, once creation date is available - allow us to modify it manually. Several apps allow this, like Momo and other journaling apps. Clickable URLs in notes. Tags for further classifying notes. Lastly, a calendar view would also be welcomed - a cross reference of all notes created by day. Thanks and good work.

Excellent design and execution here. The page themes and the folder layout on the main page are great innovations and work really well in the iPhone environment. A lot of thought obviously went into the design, and the result is an unusually effective and fun-to-use app. It creates an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. That's more than I was expecting in a notebook app, and it made me dump the old one I was using.

This app has helped me to get everything so organized it's insane. Especially since I am quite possibly one of the most unorganized people ever. Though I do have some suggestions that would make it that much better-A way to transfer all my notes from the lite version (aside from transfering to google docs and transfering back) and the notes app that is standard on the touch/phone-A setting so that you can change the text setting for all of the notes at once instead of having to do it per note. Though keep the individual note option-A setting to change the formating on the notes (add bullets, etc) would be cool to be able to do it for all of them or individually. -A way to upload and use custom backgrounds or use pictures for backgrounds on the notes.Other than those suggestions this app rocks! Keep up the good work!!

For a scatterbrain like me, this app is perfect. I can create to-do lists, shopping lists, story ideas, expense records, and whatever comes to mind, organize it all into colorful, easy-to-find folders, customize like crazy, and bam! My mind is eased from the burden of having to keep track of a million things, and I'm free from the worry that I'll forget something important.
All the features are terrific, and the user-friendliness is very high. My only wish is for the ability to organize individual notes in whatever order I want, so that the most important ones are at the top. You can do that with folders, I'd like to see it made possible with the notes themselves. Also, I could use a greater variety of folder icons. Something relating to money, and something relating to shopping, for starters.
Other than that, this app has been well worth the money! I highly recommend it.

This app it really blows me away. Worth the money every penny of it. But I still think you can do something better. Generally I use this as my todo memo, and I feel that it would be great if you guys put an iCal sync feature onto it. And also, sometimes one thing happened to have several sub-things, and it will be great if you add an optional checklist feature on to your notes. I would buy it even if you list it for $10 after you add this two features.

excellent interface, best note app out there at present but it lets itself down badly by not having a simple search function. I keep finding myself having to refer back to the basic iPhone notes app to be able to find a specific note. That on it's own makes it impossible to give this app a rating above 3 stars. I like the interface and all the features of this app but for the time being I have to run it alongside the iPhone notes app until a search function is added. Please hurry that along guys!
UPDATE: Ive changed my rating to 5 stars as the search function has been added. This is my most useful app now! Thanks guys!!

Update: Version 2.0 just increase the 'awesome'ness. It adds To Do, remembers your folder settings, badge on the icon and default font/note design per folder! Honestly, i can now delete my To Do app and save one space in the Home Page for something else. Awesome Note is a great note app and To Do list. Two app in one with great eye candy. Go get it! Original: One look at the screenshot and you know you have a winner in both design and polished app category. What you don't know is that this app is easy to use and Fast! Startup is fast. Entering notes is lightning fast (I'm using a 3G iPhone)! Kudos!! Easily worth the $4 I paid.

I think that really good apps generally don't deserve more than 4 stars because they always need some polishing or they don't have quite all the core features that I think would make for a truly great application. Not so with Awesome Note (at least as of ver 2.0). It is without a doubt, I don't have to give it a second thought 5 star app! It has an exceptionally well designed interface. It is so easy to use for organizing work and personal priorities; combining todos with notes, and lists. It replaces all the other notes and todo applications that I have tried. An absolutely must have application for the iPhone. Highly recommended!

The name doesn't lie, this is just a 100% awesome app!! There is one thing I think that could be added in the next update, and that is sub-folders. I would love it if I could create folders within folders.
But honestly, this app is so awesome already that I have to give it 5 stars as it is despite that one tiny thing that I would love if you could improve. Thank you for this gift, O' Wondrous App Gods!

I bought this app a couple of weeks ago and have been using it since as a replacement for "Notes". The fact you can export/import to google docs (not to mention backup) allows you to type docs on your computer which is very practical. This also allows you to easily print documents, export to PDF etc, all through google docs. As great as this app is I do have two feature requests to make it even better: sync due alarms / dates with Calendar app then you can sync calendar to google it desktop Calendar. Feature two is formatting, bold , italics, bullets, color etc. Great buy, awesome app!

This App is easy to use & looks great. i like Quick memo and Quick note, it's really useful to me. And full support Landscape modes in all view! this function made comfortable to type with wide keyboard. Plus This App is Fast. fast to sync with google and fast to note. Really Awesome. it will be nice more icons and Theme. :)
