I really think that this app is great for just fooling around with pictures or creating your own. I keep my 4 year old happy while at a restaurant or grocery shopping by letting him draw with it. It's also been great for teaching him to write letters. Tracing with their fingers is the first step to writing so this has been great. I think most people complain about app's because they expect the world out of a free app. This one it great!!! Thanks guys!!

Great app!! This is my #1 quick pick app when I don't have time to start a game or I just want to chill. I'm a graphic designer, but this let's me recapture my youth. My hubby and I love to play hangman. I like the chalkboard bg and I love that I can import my own work. I'm going to make my own bg just for this app. My cop hubby loves the chalk outline bg. Here are a few ideas for upgrades: BACKGROUNDS (I'm going to make some of these so my neices/nephews can play with it): ***Coloring book picture bg ***Dot-to-dot pic bg ***Checker board ***Notebook paper bg ***Paper doll (see stamp list below) ***Blank face (see stamp list below) ***Preschool writing lines so they can practice drawing letters. Make the solid line/dash line/solid line spaced wide enough so they can draw one large letter. The teacher/parent can draw the letter with one color, and child can trace over it. Perhaps, border it with the alphabet. STAMPS: ***Mr potato head stamps (or face features to go with a blank head bg); eyes, noses, lips, hair, glasses, warts and zits, scars and bandaids, etc ***Body part stamps for hangman (head, torso, arms, legs, etc)..this idea came to me when I used the head and footprint stamps to be funny. ***Paper doll clothes (to go with paper doll bg) ***Checker (black and white) MORE SUGGESTIONS: ***Make the stamps movable(this will go great with the checkerboard bg and checker stamps). ***Transparency slider ***Charge people for it. It's worth at least $1.99, am I right, Guys? Thanks for this app!! BTW, the only problem I've had is that it often cuts off connection mid-game with hubby. We have strong wifi signals.

I just bought this app today for my ipod touch. It is very addictive if you have any pics on your ipod. It is really fun to doodle all over pics and different photos taken from videos. If you are wanting an app that consumes some time, then I'd suggest you get Doodle Buddy. There are a lot of cool things to draw on and you can save your drawings and also set them as a wallpaper. I think its one of the best apps out there for free.

Yes, you can doodle with someone else on this app that isn't in your wifi network. Yeah, it isn't an easy way or good way, but it is possible and I did it many times last night. (that's what she said) First, you enter an email address in to the invitation and send it. STAY ON THE APP. DO NOT PRESS THE HOME BUTTON AS IT WILL NOT WORK. Wait for your friend to get the email and click on the link in the message. This is the only way to get your friend to doodle with you, your friend MUST click on the link. It will take him/her to the app and voilà, you guys will be playing together. I did this yesterday with my boyfriend who was about 2 hours away at the time and it worked just fine. A little hard to figure out in the beginning, but I thought I should inform all the people who got this app and don't know how to connect to another person. Very fun and cute app, better than scribble lite :)

This free app is a lot of fun. It allows you to collaboratively draw a picture and add messages. The picture is kept on the hosting iPhone/iPod, but both have to agree before anything gets erased. My daughter likes to screen capture the images before erasing, and they all end up in her iPod film roll. There are several fun backgrounds, ability to change chalk colors and thicknesses, an eraser tool and a smearing tool. The stamps section has fun sound effects. The change made by one person shows up immediately on the other person's screen. There is even a tic tac toe background that is kind of fun. This is a great app! The only major improvement I can think of would be if you could invite someone that was not currently running their copy of the Doodle Buddy app to get them to turn on their app. Minor suggestions include if you could get three people to collaborate and additional backgrounds such as hangman.

Maybe if your dad was a competent lawyer he would bother to read the terms of service, stating that you are resonsible for what you purchase. I've downloaded a lot of free apps and developers always put a 'Lite' suffix on the apps name and the moment I see such an app I feel I'm missing some really useful stuff which I realize is mostly junk when I actually spend time with the full and paid version of the app. Here's hoping that this app never gets this treatment because even though it's simple it does what it promises wonderfully. By far the best doodle app I have used so far. Hope that the app remains as simple even with future updates. Also, I'm shocked to see how people can rate this app lower than what I think it deserves.

I've had no problems with this app whatsoever. It's great for when ur bored and u need something to do. I've bought several doodle apps and this is the only one that has kept me enthralled. I don't have to waste post-it notes at work anymore. I like the chalk look and the smudge tool. The tools are easy to use and well laid out. I like that it has different backgrounds like hangman and tic tac toe. Now I don't have to buy a tic tac toe app. Thanks slot for making this app FREE!!!

My one year old son loves this app!! Keeps him occupied for a couple minutes. I would suggest adding more drawing tools like animals cars etc that would be nice and can teach as well as have playtime for younger kids! I would buy an app that was geared towards teaching toddlers up to $9.99! Maybe you can make a jr of this app for that... When they draw with the color pen tool it should say the name of the color their using, same with numbers!! I have other ideas contact me if you want!

like other pinger.inc apps. it used to cost 5.99$. if I'm not mistaken. so all these people complaining that it's crashing and all... it's free. deal with it. it works fine for me. although 1 thing I could live with Is more stamps. but once again, it's free. I don't ask for an update. the smear tool is nifty I think. and choosing your own backround from you photo album is awesome. I like to draw on peoples faces that I don't like. haha. thank you pinger for another awesome app! and I'd also like to recomend TextFee unlimited. which is also a Pinger.inc application. so once again, Thanks!

Be warned guys. This app could very well earn you a slap in the face. How you may ask? Well one day you are going to be enjoying a romantic moment with your wife / girlfriend. You'll take a picture of her all cute and smiling. Next she'll ask to see the pic and you'll make some kind of excuse that you are filing her picture somewhere in your phone, when what you are really doing is using this app to scribble glasses, a moustache and a beard on her face. Then you'll show her the picture and then WHAM! Like I said this app could very likely earn you a swift slap in the face!

It was a great entertainment not only for my seven-years old nephew but also for my twelve-years old students. My nephew saved several drawings and made a book of them. Also, he titled any one of his drawings. It means, he created a digital picture and practiced his writing skills. We had a wonderful evening playing with Doodle Buddy.

This app is a useful one like if you are waiting for somthing you can pull your ipod out and start doodling. I love this app. Now i can draw anywhere i want to as long as i have my ipod. You can also draw on a picture of yours. You should get it.
