Does what it says on the tin: Access your Dropbox on the go.Straightforward navigation, very simple to use.Having the ability to "Favourite" a file for offline access is invaluable. Makes it so much faster to access my regularly-viewed files.I used to use the iPhone web interface to Dropbox which meant reloading the file everytime you wanted to view it (both slow and consumes more data). That problem is eliminated by the native App. On top of that it notifies you when the file you've Favourited is out of date & needs to be updated to the latest version - excellent!Photo gallery view works as advertised, but I don't really use Dropbox for this. It may seem basic, but even with this simple feature-set, the usefulness of Dropbox has just gone up a few more notches for me.I would like to see more features added over time, like the ability to manage files within the Dropbox (move them around, Cut/Copy/Paste, delete etc.), and perhaps further down the track things like seeing the versions of a particular file (or deleted files) and be able to restore them, but this is a great start.Highly recommended.

Dropbox fans will breath a sigh of relief when downloading and launching this app. It does everthing it's suppose to do just as smoothly as the desktop applications on all platforms. Plus the amazing addition of video and photo saved straight from your iPhone. I took a short video saved it to my dropbox and within seconds it's was on my mac laptop, and my pc at home. Simply perfect. Highly recommended company, great product.

I've recently moved from using MS Live Mesh to Dropbox on my desktop/laptop at home. The software seems a lot snappier than Microsoft's offering. Then Dropbox release this tremendous free app so I have access to anything I need while I'm not at home. Great work guys!I'm loving that you can upload your photos/videos directly to your dropbox and then share the file via a link in email. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!!!

Dropbox for iPhone is a fantastic addition to the existing Dropbox ecosystem. If you are already a Dropbox user, you have no reason not to use this. For newcomers to Dropbox you will enjoy how simple it is to use, on both the iPhone and your desktop.
It's hard to explain what Dropbox is, you should just try it for yourself. It's free, you have nothing to loose. But remember, it will be far better if you use it in conjunction with the desktop application.
My favourite feature is the ability to view documents (PDF, DOC, etc.) from the phone. I also love the way you can take photos/videos and upload them directly into your Dropbox.
Definently one of my favourite iPhone apps.

Not sure how anyone can say this duplicates iPhone 3g stuff-maybe reviewer thinking of different program. This neat little app allows you to synch your iPhone through a cloud and have documents stored on the iPhone and all your computers (mac or windows) effortlessly. We have copies of our medical insurance cards, passport, etc on the iPhone now. Wife has a virtual shopping list. Also allows distributing large files to others like videos that are too big to directly email-the recipient is given a link that turns your computer into a server. Dropbox is one of the most innovative ideas in awhile, and I'd be surprised if Google doesn't buy them.

Drop Box reviewThis app is awesome in letting me upload my files/images and then be able to access them wherever I am and keep up to date without having too many redundant files around. A few things that could be added. It would be nice if I were able to download my images directly to my iPhones camera roll, and it would be nice if I were able to choose what type of view I wanted to use when viewing photos, such as having the option to view the photos in either filename or the See All feature immediately off hand, without having to go and dig for the See All feature.

I'm not at all disappointed with this app. It's a great addition to this amazing service! That said, here's my wish list … I like the ability to send temporary links to items not in shared folders: Please add that feature to the desktop client and web interface. Traversing directories will soon become a bore: Please add ability to mark folders as favorites with the option to download folders contents to iPhone. Please add recursive search. Please add search filters. Please search file contents. Please allow the creation of "smart folders" based on search criteria, etc… Thanks!

I didn't believe this could be true & so waited to write a review but here I am to sing the praises of the incrdibly well- engineered, superbly usefull (with no annoying frills) storage/sharing tool! This is really cool and convenient! yet, since it is still the ver1.0, there is too less things u can do in the iphone with dropbox except to view what we put down. I hope the dropbox can update more features:
1) enable iphone user to arrange the files by open new folder, at least can delete a thing we add.
2) enable the user to magnify photos or documents in the dropbox. It is weird that I can't magnify the photos I put in the dropbox to view.
3) enable the music to open in the ipod system but not just open the music one by one in quick time.
I believe this will become a main app in apple store! Please keep update!!!!

This app makes my life easier. I love that I can have my teacher's notes in my hands while reading the book. I use less paper cause I can just upload labs and work right from the palm of my hand. I can even read articles I'm far from any wifi. Perfect for any student. Especially ones on a tight budget. I love this app.The only thing I wish I could do on this app is take notes. But hey its free. I can't complain.

This app does exactly what you need it to: gives you access to your Dropbox files. For free. It works and it's easy. Does that sound like a 1 star app? Of course not. Look at the distribution of reviews. When you see a weird bump at 1 then you know something is fishy. Try reading some of those 1 star reviews. The only valid ones are the ones compaining that 3.1 was required, and that's fixed in this new release. Works with 3.0 so you can ignore all of those reviews. The rest are obviously from people with agendas.

I have had a DropBox account since the beginning when they only offered memberships through invites only and I loved it from the beginning. Now that they released this wonderful, flawless app, its even more amazing. Now I don't have to email myself documents to open up on my phone, I can just upload it to dropbox, open it up on my phone, and save myself the hassle of emailing and storing documents on my phone.
Very impressed with the DropBox team; they have been amazing from the start.

I'm using dropbox on my computer since a while it works like a charm!
It really is the best way to transfer files from computers to computers, sync files for all the computers you use, share files to friends over internet or simply to keep a backup of your important data!
Great thing that you can at last use this directly on the iPhone, you can be sure I'll never send file attachment or use FTP transfers anymore!

*This* is the application I've been waiting for ever since I discovered Dropbox. So far it has worked flawlessly, allowing me ridiculously easy access to all my critical files while on the go. I've been using the free service thus far, and have been on the fence as to whether to move to a paid subscription, but this application has made the decision for me. It's simple, to the point, and does exactly what it needs to do. Dropbox is taking Cloud computing where it needs to be.

I love Dropbox on the desktop; so easy to send files to people that are too big for email. My problem had been that quite often I get asked for files while I'm on the road and I had no way of accessing Dropbox until I got back to my office. Even when I already had the file uploaded to Dropbox, I'd still have to be at my computer to send the public link to download it. Dropbox for iPhone solves that.

This app is really great. I have a Mac laptop and an Iphone, my GF has a Windows laptop and an Iphone. I regularly have to print documents for my GF. So before she would create the documents then email them to me which wasn't hard but now all she has to do is put the documents into the drop box and shoot me a quick text message with how many copies she wants. It's also awesome because she can see view all her documents, my pictures, etc. on her Iphone and I can do the same from her dropbox. This is definately a killer app, very easy to use, works on both Windows and Mac it's just awesome.

I *just* downloaded this app and created a Dropbox account and I am simply amazed at what the capabilities. Files that I could not otherwise read on my iPhone are now accessible. I have other 'reader' apps that are terrific, but they could not handle .html or .htm files that I saved to disk and whose website is no longer available. I tried this app thinking that I would eventually delete it and my Dropbox account because it didn't do what I needed, but IT DOES!!! and so much better than I anticipated. Files get uploaded extra fast too, compared to my other 'reader' apps. Well done!!!

Dropbox is simply fantastic. You choose the documents you want to have synced and backed up, and Dropbox takes it from there. I LOVE having my important documents available (with all the original formatting intact) on my Mac at home, on my iPhone, and available via the Web from work and other computers - all updated to the latest version. This may not be your one and only backup solution, but it makes an awesome complement to something like Time Machine. Extremely easy to use and intuitive.

I have been using dropbox on my computers for nearly a year. I was using the web-app that was ok. This new feature is very well done. I can see why they waited to release to do it nicely. I really like the ability to upload photos from camera. Dropbox is one of the strongest online storage programs I have seen. They have laid down a strong complement to this service with the addition of the iphone app. I will be upgrading to 50GB soon. Keep up the good work!!!

Multi selection of favourites.I would like to add contents of a folder which has over 100 files to my favourites, to make them available offline. It is very annoying having to do this one by one. There should be a way to favourite a folder or enabling checkboxes with select all function in the list view.Allow sorting the favourites view (by name, date, size, type) would be nice.Also having folders in favourites.Thanks for the great product.
