I love it. I own some other apps from the developers. HOWEVER there is a lot of wide email apps to choose from which all work great BUT no one as of Nov. 2 has SMS support with a wide keyboard. The iPhone is a PHONE where I SMS a lot more than email. PLEASE ADD SMS with landscape keyboard! Apple developers are obviously not to intelligent when it came to cell phone user interface design. I mean DUH apple. I keyboards should be I'm landscape. They obviously don't SMS on their phone.

This is probably one of the best or the best landscape mode application out there. I really like the fact that you can change your font, font size, and color. I also like the premade drafts that came with it. The only thing i can complain about is the spell checker. It works ok but needs improvement compared to the spell checker on the iPhone. Also another thing I haven't found any other app work doing this but when I'm on craigslist looking at a posting and click on their name to reply, it opens your primary email account but in the web browser (safari) not Mail. When I exit safari and open easy mail and send it to email, it sends it to my open account on Mail not the one in safari. Bso ifyou guys could some how fix that it would be flawless. But thanks for the free app. Hope to see some updates in the future.

I've tried them all, free and paid versions. Tried the free version of Easy Email then purchased the full version with spell check and it's only $1.00. I have been using it for a month now and like this enough to keep it above the rest. It has so many different options. It can change font color (and it is recieved in that color as well), font size, font style, special charactors, emoticons and landscape mode and more. Stable appliation and gets my mail sent w/o problems. Highly recommend this or even the free version w/o spellcheck above all other e-mail apps. Spell check is a must have option that is invaluable assest to have when writting. Thank you Rockifone, nice work!

Update: These guys actually listened. They added spell check, smily faces, fixed some of the bugs, etc. They made a fantastic app PERFECT!!! I have changed my 4 stars to 5. Good job guys! BRAVO! ======+++++====== This is really very good. I especially liked the fonts, colors too! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would really like to see a few changes: First - I would like to see the bug for longer email fixed. I have had difficuilty sending longer emails. Second - I would really appreciate if you would add spell check to the application. One question: Can I use this app to write this review? If yes please put the instructions within your app introduction on the app page. I will certainly chage my stars (from 4 to 5) in the future with further updates. Updated: now there are emoticons!!!! We still have to wait for more fonts but im thrilled with the update! Thanks for your responsiveness, developers! Previous review: Get it now. You won't regret it. Currently comes with 19 fonts. My favorite is zapfino. You use a slider to change font size, and you can choose among several colors. Tons of special symbols, most of which I personally won't need! Clarification: cursory reading of into can mislead you to think you can only reply to an email. No, you can actually compose original emails, not just reply to those you have received. You compose it using the cool fonts and colors in landscape, then hit the reply icon which gives you the choice to send the email. At that point your apple mail app is opened. You will notice the fonts are retained. Then you can address the email in the ways offered by the mail app and then add your subject line if you don't want amy of the standard offerings in easy mail. Then hit send! I usually blind copy myself on iPhone email so I saw what me recipient actually received and it's just what easy mail composed! And another cool observation: when I go back to easy mail, my most recent composition is still there until I ask it to erase! Seems that might be handy if I have to interrupt writing to do something else. It's a very good app. Free now, but it is worth paying for. Apple really should have done this out of the box but glad others are allowed to make it happen. Please add: 1. More fonts! More! More! 2. Since you do special symbols, add emoticons!!!!! They will be more usefull than most of the special symbols are to me. Don't kill the symbols though because others may find them very helpful.

Great keyboard. Makes typing much faster for emails. Just a couple problems... 1) needs to return to alpha keys from numeric automatically when the apostrophe is hit, like normal keyboard does. 2) don't autosave the email after hitting the send button. we don't need to compose the same message again. 3) multiple fonts in one email as mentioned earlier would be nice Other than those that could be fixed in an update... Great!

Yesterday I purchased Wide Email, Touch Type with spell check and EasyWriter. After playing around with all 3, I decided upon Touch Type due to the spell check capabilities. As a professional, it is important to me that my emails do not look like they were written by a juinor high school kid.
I was pleased with my choice until I checked the new apps released last night and came across Easy Email. I downloaded that one and found this one to be my absolute favorite. While it does not spell check, it does provide for numerous colors and fonts for your emails, as well as allowing you to set up quick responses and/or signatures.
After trying to convice myself that I was supposed to like Touch Type best, I finally gave up, removed it, and, for now, have settled on Easy Email as my favorite. With a couple more features, this will easily become a 5 star app.

Great app but would love to use for SMS

This is a really great app what more do you need horizontal keyboard lots of fonts and colors my only complaint is that it can't be used for txt messages and no option to send attachments otherwise it is a great app. One thing would love to have added is SMS intergrated to the program and sent using the iPhone's SMS program just like how the email is done I use more SMS than e-mail so that is why I would love to have this added in. Look foward to updates.

I am really enjoying this app. I would, if possible, appreciate if SMS typing was added. It would be great to have only one keyboard app for everything. The ability to save is great for drafts/notes and even use as a bookmark for audiobooks, instead of 'Trakked' app. Also, it would be great to be able to change fonts/colours in parts only. This would make certain words stand out. As for the 'broken' spell checker, dude you push spell check. It tell you to waits 20 seconds, or so. You wait. Then you press spell checker, again. Go through the chosen items, the ones in red on the document and in the panel on the right, pressing forward or back. At the end push back to either send or save. It hasn't got a dictionary in the traditional sense. Just like the iPhone's 'dictionary' it chooses words that it does not recognize. It says this in the information on iTunes.

I like this one the best because you got rid of that stupid status bar and you put the subject line inside the top menu thus saving valuable vertical space when typing in landscape mode. I also love the font adjustability. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but it makes all the difference. The only suggestion I have is make the white background of the subject line an easy on the eyes soft grey just like you did for the body. And while you're at it it would be useful to set different background colors for a white text on black etc. Or a soft linen/ manilla color background. You should also theme the title bar with a little more custom of a color than the standard boring blue.

I started off with the basic app but like the idea of more colors to choose from. I really like to have the choice of a variety of colors, fonts and sizes. I like the emotions but I am like some of the folks with reviews, I really would like icon emotions versus text. Otherwise I think app is fantastic. I would give it 5 stars if there was real icon emotions instead of text emotions. Thanks, looking for newer updates!!!

WAAA! (what an amazing app) I absolutely HATE mobile me mail and I absolutely LOVE this app. All you need is copy and paste and spell check to be 5 stars. Prior to the iphone I had a microsoft based phone. The iphone is great, but one of the most difficult adjustments was the plain email, no fonts, no buzz, no bling. I still can't do tables in the email, but at least I can have fun colors and different fonts.

I"m lucky becuase I got this for free right when it came out. Lol

Although I wished I had noticed this app when it was free, it is well worth $.99. The developers have done an excellent job. I only wish this was part of the iPhone's software so it could be used with text messages and typing reviews. 11/11/2008. This does not work when there's a photo attachment. Why?

I hesitated to download program while it was free, but after reading the reviews, I decided to download it and the reviews were spot on! This is a nice program. I'm frugal, so I probably would not have downloaded it, but, I did while it was free and I truly enjoy the program. Kudos to the developers!

Very nice. Works as indicated and has cool features and easy to use. I really like the different font and color options as well as the predefined intros you can use. Best full featured landscape email app being offered at this time. (11/11/08)
