Introducing Hide-A-Caller, the iPhone or iPod touch application that helps you secure and hide sensitive contact information. Use Hide-A-Caller to mask the true identity of your callers in your text and call history.
Overbearing boyfriend/girlfriend keeping a tight tab on your incoming and last outgoing calls. Clearing your call logs or having unknown numbers in your history only makes things worse. Hide-A-Caller allows you to easily create aliases for your secret contacts. Entries in your Hide-A-Caller are mirrored with an incognito entry in your regular address book. Now those private conversations you have with your office romance can look like calls to your favorite aunt or that old best friend back in your hometown. Can't think of an alias name, Hide-A-Caller can randomly generate thousands of common names for either gender.
Access to Hide-A-Caller is secured with your own private password. The application was created with simplicity in mind and we made creating and managing your Hide-A-Caller contacts a breeze. Create a new Hide-A-Caller entry from scratch and store their phone number, email address, photo, and other miscellaneous notes. Import and move existing contacts to and from Hide-A-Caller and your regular address book.

Wow this is a badass app. I have been waiting for an app like this for a long time. Too bad I had to have the "who the he'll is that calling you blocked again" conversation more than I can count. Thank you for this blessing. Only one thing, the title has to go. It brings a lot of attention. But other than that it's perfect. Now that the name has been changed to HAC, this is the app everyone needs to have on their iPhone.

This is a very nice application. No you don't have to be doing something wrong to want to hide a caller's ID. I get call's from recruitment agents, and don't want others to know. This helps disguise this.
It would be great if Apple allowed you to selectively delete call history (like most phones), but until then, this is a must have application. I upgraded to the Pro version (much the same functionality, but I wanted to say thank you to the developers)

I think this is cool, there are definitely a few people I don't want my g/f to know that I talk to, but couldn't I just save them under a different name in my contacts? That is what I did before, lol. At least then I wouldn't have a suspicious app in my phone called "hide a caller". I thought the goal here was to stay out of trouble!
On the one hand I guess it's good because if you have lots of contacts and can't remember who you saved your ex g/f as you can always go to this app and enter your password to remember.

A good little application, I think most people if they didn't want anyone seeing a number in their phone they'd just rename it as something else anyway, still a very good little application, definately needs renaming and a different icon though.

This is the best app on the iPhone. I love to cheat on my wife and this app just makes it that much easier only if they had a version that hides text alerts. Scpsraiderchick needs to stop nagging does she not know men don't like being nagged maybe that's why she gets cheated on. If you love to cheat and fool around behind your partners back get this app.

Evan and the gang have done another outstanding App. And it's Free. But the Pro Verison has more. When you or your Job need the secrets of your phone book names,address,numbers hidden from others.
Hideacaller Pro is just the right program for the iPhone.
