Jaw-dropping By: drfranni - 04-Oct-2009 Version: 1.1.119 This was the first app I have bought which made me resort to gasping and incoherence. Of course, it isn't cheap and you have to buy a subscription for your PC as well BUT it works! It works perfectly, brilliantly and fast on wireless and OK on 3G - you would get bored using it a lot on 3G but when you need it (eg turning up at a friend's new house without the address, being able to read all of the emails on my desktop whilst huddled in a doorway in deepest Kent) Fantastic - if you need this, it will do the job for you
Worth the money By: CreativeFiction - Dec 18, 2008 Version: 1.1.85 I am a Logmein Free desktop user and have used it for a while to connect to a work PC to run proprietary software. I have an original 8 GB 2G iPhone. This app works surprisingly well. Moving the screen under the mouse works well and I got used to it very quickly. It was very responsive on WiFi and usable with just Edge. I highly recommend the app in spite of the high price. I can now work from any location.
Customer Support +++ By: 19kings - 30-Nov-2009 Version: 1.1.130 This app is fantastic! After speaking to a friend I went ahead and set up a LogMein Central account and bought the app. It is worth every cent and more! Now within five minutes if a client rings in even, if they do not have LogMein on their computer, I can log in to my office machine, deploy a link to the client, have them load the program and be logged on to their computer and fixing the problem. That is service plus for the client and a point of difference for us. The use of the Pinch and Zoom feature makes this easy to read and easy to use. Just had to get used to moving the screen to the mouse rather than the mouse to the screen, but it works beautifully. I still need to spend time discovering all the features but that will only add to a brilliant experience. Great program, great company to deal with.
Amaaaaazing!!! By: Angelo30 - Jul 18, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 I read about this app on some post about fav iPhone apps. I was hesitant to purchase it because of the price but it's worth every penny. I'd pay more for this...i logged in 3 of my servers today no problem on 3G and was amazed with the speed. As an I.T professional I'm thinking I never have to bring my laptop anywhere anymore because this app is awesome. Thank you guys...the weekends are going to be less stressful for sure.
Worth the money System Admins! By: mepilot1 - Dec 4, 2009 Version: 1.1.130 I am a field engineer who supports many remote clients. This app is sooooo worth it.Sure, you can use RDP for your fixed IP address machines like servers but for supporting your clients PC's, this app makes you look like a champ!Well worth the money!Plus the WOL (Wake on LAN) is great! You can remotely power up computers that are off!Logmein is one of THE best remote apps out there. I've tried them all. Plus, it's encripted so safer than RDP.Way to go Logmein with this awsome app! You've got a lot of SysAdmins like myself who love your pruduct and are actively promoting it!Cheers!
Great App By: Spurgeon13 - 17-Nov-2009 Version: 1.1.128 One of the most useful apps for the iPhone or touch. I have used logmein for a few years now (on mac and pc) and downloaded this app when I bought my iPhone. Works just like it should. No problems using it over the moble network or on wifi. Paid for itself the first week I had it when a client called and I was able to fix his computer from the side of the road on a trip to PEI. If you are thinking of buying it just do it you will not be disappointed you did.
Worth the price actually. By: impulseengine - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 I put off purchasing this app for
weeks. Today I found myself in a situation where it would be very handy having access to my home computer from my iPhone, so I decided to just eat the $30. It connected quickly and worked well even on 3G!
This is fantastic because now I don't have to find a WiFi connection when I'm traveling! I was going to give this four stars because of the price, but it deserves five. Freedom to access my home computer from just about anywhere I happen to be is worth the one time fee.
App crashed at remote login By: Pvirga88 - Oct 15, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 I have been using log me in fir years now and jumped to it when I found it can be used on the iPhone. The app over all is good but I occationally get a memory issue and it won't allow me to log into my remote server. The remote servers i mostly log into have a resolution of 1920x1200. But I have mo problem loging into servers that are at 1280x1024. That is my only complaint. Hopefully that will be fixed in there next update.
Awesome app, a few niggles By: PixelsByPaul - Jul 14, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 This app works really well and is reasonably quick, for what it's doing. I also bought JaaduVNC and will compare them here briefly. LogMeIn Pros: Very easy connection over the internet (non WIFI). Jaadu is very difficult to get working over the internet. It requires a highly annoying 3rd party website subscription (No-IP). And Airport admin which does not even work for me. Ugh! This is a BIG issue, as my principal use for these full remotes is over the internet. This is a deal-breaker for JaaduVNC for me. Both handle my 2 high-res-screen setup really well (2560x1600 and 1920x1200). However, I prefer LogMeIn's approach. It shows one screen at a time, which is faster. Then you shake the iPhone to switch to the other screen. How cool is that! JaauVNC shows both screens at once. With either app, it's easy to zoom in and out. LogMeIn technical support is truly excellent and responsive. They got right back to me on some initial issues I had, and that was on Sunday! JaaduVNC has yet to get back to me on my internet connection issues. LogMeIn Cons: JaaduVNC has a nice touchpad screen that gives allot of welcome control. There are 4 screens of control. The first offers large buttons for esc, back, tab, space, up, down, left, right, ok. These are VERY handy. The 2nd offers 9 large buttos: quit, close, switch, esc, media, select all, cut, copy, paste. Also really handy. I really miss this in LogMeIn, although it does have 3 partial screens of extra buttons when the keyboard is shown. LogMeIn has this annoying two tier pricing approach, with a yearly subscription required for full functionality. Ugh! JaaduVNC has no such annoyance, and is $5 less expensive than LogMeIn.
Great app By: sobeservices1 - Dec 18, 2008 Version: 1.1.85 Great app I love logme in and have been waiting for an app like this for a long time from the company yes a bit buggy and slow and I would have to agree with others in some aspects $30 is pricy to start off with. I have used Ignition on my desktop bit let my subscription run out waiting for this app it would be nice now that I have paid for the iPhone app to be able to use the desktop version as well. I will have to try that later

Great - 9.5 / 10 By: Nimec - 11-Nov-2009 Version: 1.1.128 I don't take the time to review purchases after they are made unless there is something to be said for future potential buyers. In this case, I can offer nothing but praise for this excellent application.Being able to remotely control a desktop from anywhere is so useful, especially when you have elderly parents who often need help with something. That combined with the fantastic LogMeIn service makes this application a must have for anyone who sees being able to remotely control PC's on the go.The price is fair considering it works well with their free service. Those who buy won't be disappointed.
Just amazing By: Another nickname - Jul 14, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 I know that re-reviews are bumped back to the top so that's why I do it :)
If you use logmein on a regular basis for any reason, be it free or paid (especially free, I wanted to give the $ to them because the product worked so well and all i have are free clients) buy this app!
It works exceptionally well on the iPhone. Better than any RDP or VNC app out there right now. I have over 30 systems with the free client loaded that I can admin anywhere at any time! It's worth every penny!
Logmein for iPhone By: DeNerd - Oct 12, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 Was a bit put off with the price, but after trying, feel better about it. Been using gotomypc, but won't work with iphone. This app fits the bill nicely. Bit different moving around the screen, but works as advertised. Am IT Manager with a financial firm and found this app to be a big help in getting to my servers when out of office. Additionally, I really like using the full browser, as when logging in from home or kiosk, offers much more than gotomypc in way of file transfers and such. I'm considering this product as gotomypc replacement for corp. use. Been very impressed.
Impressive app gives me freedom By: Hollisterdoc - Dec 17, 2008 Version: 1.1.85 This is an absolutely incredible app! I was sad not to be one of the beta testers, but am so glad it did not take long to release. Once I reset the iphone after installing this app it works great. Very intuitive interface. I can now access all my computers from anywhere. Very liberating. A little expensive but in the long run probably will be worth it. As more people purchase this app, hopefully, the price will come down. Keep up the good work LogMeIn!
Great app! By: Wilrsnds - Oct 11, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 Dollar for dollar, best app I ever bought. I have used logmein for a few years and when I saw an iPhone app I had to get it. I use it to connect not only to home, but to my office computers. I'm in the IT field but this app is easy to use and configure. For those who say it has issues a few points. 1. Depending on the bandwidth from the pc you want to connect to will impact performance. 2. I know 11 people who use this app, one had issues and it was found his phone was jailbreaked. Enough said there. If u want easy remote access this is your ticket.
Does the trick By: Jud - Dec 17, 2008 Version: 1.1.85 Sure it's a little slow even on wifi. I have duel monitors and you need to shake your device to switch back and forth from each monitor. Pretty intuitive.
It's a little cumbersome but overall it's a pretty good tool for me to log into my companys proprietaire software for the occasional information I need on the spot.
Well done and look forward to any future updates for this reasonable $30 price tag.

Perfect By: DaveTheDrummer - 06-Aug-2009 Version: 1.1.119 Stunning app. It's fast over mobile and like lightning over wi-fi. It does everything I could have wanted from a mobile PC access app in the way I would like them done. I have used the desktop LogMeIn app for years to help out friends and family when they have computer problems so I was expecting a cut-down app on the iPhone. I was wrong. It's perfect. Can't imagine it being better. Easily worth the money. Just pay it. You won't regret it. DtD.
Works great! Smooth and easy By: chrisallen8888 - Jul 9, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 This app is allowing me to cancel my additional wireless card for my computer! 66 bucks a month saved! I need to be able to access my computers 24/7 as IT guy in my company and I can now do it via 3g on my iPhone. The zoom function is perfect and typing and clicking is 2nd nature. I have 12 computers with logmein free and I can access them all anywhere now. A bit pricey but a life saver for me, well worth the money.
Amazing Application By: Redbike2001 - Dec 16, 2008 Version: 1.1.85 I have been using LogMeIn for a few months to access my PC at home with my netbook. I have come to rely on it. I thought a few times before spending $29 on an application. A trial would be nice, but if you have used LogMeIn in the past, you know it should work. They have a forum on their website for the iPhone. Checked it out and people were very happy. The one thing I would suggest is that you turn off "Push" on your e-mail settings. Otherwise you will likely get an error message about memory and lock-up the iPhone. The settings are simple and the GUI is very easy to use. I connected into a Vista 64 PC and had no problems openning mail in Outllook and sending out new e-Mail.The only bug I saw was the error message that others have also seen. I actually find it easier to use this version than the free version I have on my netbook!
LogMeIn just works! By: TheSuperDD - Jul 9, 2009 Version: 1.1.119 LogMeIn is by far the best remoting software out there. I have used the desktop version to remote control PCs and Macs around the world and I have never been let down. It always worked. This little gem is no exception. It works just how I would expect when trying to control a 1680 x 1050 screen from an iPhone. It's not 'just like being there' but IMO, it is as close as I can imagine given the fact that I can use my Mac like this (i.e from my phone, on a bus, 6000 miles away). If you are an amateur complaining about the price, go use something else. If you are a road warrior who needs remote access at all times, the price of the app is tiny compared to the peace of mind.
