Works great. It has handled 500 page PDF and Word files. No way to do copy/paste with PDFs but it works well with Word docs. Great to be able to have these docs available offline like this The only upload method I've used is via Internet where I log into my gmail account to get PDF attachments. Tried to access the IP address that they list but the page was not found. Overall, fairly intuitive and east to use.

A no frill application that fits in with the iPhone look. It opens my very large PDF/Adobe files very quickly with no problems, and the ability to zoom and go to page to page is great. Downloading the third party program is a bit tricky, but they chose a reputible third party program that is easy to use and turns my phone into a USB device. Great discovery on both parts. I would pay $10 for this application, but it was only 99 cents!

This is a perfect app. Unlike other pdf reviewer, this app provides a great function. It is able to transfer files into my iphone through USB cable directly. I am able to save my documents on my iphone and carry it with me without internet. Moreover, it works great. I am able to open a file with ease; also, there are several modes for reading. Even though a large file, it still works very well. I recommend it.

Safari download work arround

Download failures are avoidable by changing http:// to pdf:// in the address by in safari. This brings up this downloader. The download was fast and complete. The reason probable is memory saving without a loaded HTML page in this app. It wass useful for the following reasons. 1. Opens and reads large PDF files with graphics in high or fast resolutions 2. Downloads files from internet. 3. Downloader remembers download history, allows pause, continue, and resume broken download due to interruption in wifi connectivity. 4. Tranfers files with desktops using internet explorer (not the desk explorer) and other browsers. 5. Options to lock scale and rotation. 6. Folders to organize files. Things to improve: 1. In normal view, display does not become blured as soon as a view is moved on large PDF files where the fast view mode is blurry and unreadable. High resolution view does not behave the same, but movements are jerky. 2. Touching outline to bring up the corresponding PDF page. 3. Display the download manager automatically once download starts on a webpage and give the user the option to close it.  PS. Emoji by spell numbers

I have not looked at other applications in this same niche, but this one is pretty good. The uploading and file management is pretty easy (make sure you don't use / in your folder names though). Reading is pretty good as well. My only recommendations would be a) implement a click to scale jesture, b) remember my location in a document when I transition between documents and c) let me update my bookmarks. You can pinch to zoom in and out, but a methaphor that I use a lot in email and web reading is to tap on a paragraph or image to scale the view to its bounds; really helpful because pinching can be annoying to get it just right. Currently the application will remember the last place you were when you closed down the application; really nice. But I have several documents that I transition between often, and the application does not remember where I was in the documents during that transition. Therefore, I have to either remember the page and jump to it or (and this is what I am doing) set a bookmark before I transition to other file and jump to the bookmark which is why having the ability to update a current bookmark would be helpful. The best solution would be to retain the page location on each file so the application will just pop me back where I was. Overall, though, this is well worth the money and has been helpful when I have those few minutes here and there that I need to fill.

I can finally read my c++ and programming books on the go!! But one problem us that it's very slow and continuiosly loads when using the browser so I have to do a FTP to get my books on.

Best app for reading PDF!!!!

Have tried a few different app for pdf files. The update makes this app the BEST pdf reader in app store! Reading pdf and dociments become surprisingly convenient and guess what, SO CLEAR!! Either uploading or downloading files are pretty fast that save a lot of time for me. Highly recommend this awesome pdf reader!

So I think I would have failed out of medical school if not for this application. I carry all of my lecture notes and study aids around with me all the time. Since you can save anything in PDF format this app enables you to carry documents, PowerPoints and practically anything else (saved as PDFs) on your IPOD. For the price you can't go wrong!

PDF Reader opens a password protected pdf (but only after you type your PW). It opens Powerpoint downloads, too. It's fast. It's easy. It's great.
