This works!  rating of Todo Lite
By: Gem State Mama - Sep 14, 2009
Version: 3.0.1
This works! I downloaded the free one (Todo Lite) and within an hour I needed (wanted/downloaded) the full version. I get to use my iCal and my iPhone! Yay! I like iCal and how it connects to the Address book and email, and other apps mean switching to their calendar or some other one like Google (I just don't like the Google look and feel). Anyway, this works just great with what I already like using! One wish: When adding tasks to a project, please list them in the order that I put them in. I know it's easy to reorder them, but why have to? Ok, second wish: Let me put a project within a project. This is not as geeky as it sounds. For example, my son's birthday party is coming up and one of my "tasks" is "fix up the yard." If you could see my yard, you would know that that is a project all of it's own and it would be nice to list it that way and put "mow the grass" "move the swing" "set up the Krusty Krab tent" etc. as tasks under the project of "Fix up the Yard" within the bigger project of "Son's Birthday Party." Otherwise, I really like this app. It's the only one that I have spent so much on ($10!), but it works and I am happy. Thanks for offering a free version first so I could test syncing it with iCal and see how it worked.

Great option to evaluate before buying full version (It is worth the $10!!)  rating of Todo Lite
By: cobra87 - Jul 17, 2009
Version: 2.0.1
This is a great app that allows you to assess functionality and work out syncing connecting problems before spending money on the full version and it does the job really well. Todo has a great interface for adding Todo's and syncs well with iCal and the free computer Appigo Sync program (no need to have your lists floating on someone else's server). I liked that it basically is a fully functional trial version, aside from limiting the number of ToDo's and the number of items you can have in the grocery list. Syncing problems I have had were all related to something I did (changing the computer Sharing name in System Preferences makes it hard for the iPHone to find it, but was fixed by reauthorizing). The problems getting some later iCal generated ToDo's to show up on the free app was likely due limitations on the number of ToDo's in the trial version, as that problem disappeared when I upgraded to the full version. Their support team is very responsive with step by step instructions to pinpoint any problems.

Great app, needs a few things, hoping they are in the upgraded full version  rating of Todo Lite
By: Mettle Mama - May 9, 2009
Version: 2.0
I decided to try the Lite version before forking out $10 for the real deal, knowing that Lite does mean lite, but hoping that, like many reviewers of the upgraded version, I would find this introduction app to be a perfect fit for my multitasking needs encouraging me to go for the upgrade. So far, not disappointed. I did have a bit of a problem getting the Appigo program on my computer to recognize my iPhone, but that could have been user/Airport error. To overcome this, I just watched the Appigo screencast and also googled the subject, there was plenty of info to help me through. Once it was configured, my iCal Tasks were synced to my iPhone. This was a tiny bit disappointing because I thought it synced my entire iCal, meaning my daily entries/appointments, directly into the calendar, Lite only does iCal Tasks, I am hoping that the upgraded version integrates the daily entries/appointments, but, even if it doesn't, the app is far superior to other GTD apps I have tried.
Couple of things for the developers:
Projects is very important to me, love the sub catagories. In the Lite edition when you create a Project and then add a sub-catagory, if you don't immediately designate a "Type" you can not go in later to edit or assign it a "Type." You have to re-enter/add the subcatagory into the Project with the "Type" and then erase the old one, which is timely and repetitive. Also, it would be great if you could have a project within a project. Another thing that would be tremendously helpful would be an alarm option in all catagories and sub-catagories. Hopefully the real deal version has these options, and if not, I hope the developers add them in the future.
If you are looking to organize yourself, this app will certainly help. Please realize that organization doesn't just happen with the wave of a magic wand (or in this instance, the press of a finger), the app is only as useful as the person who is commanding it. With all things in life, you must read the directions (watch the screencasts), experiment with it, and allow time for user trial and error. Patience is a virtue, with this app, it pays off.

Great way to try out/evaluate the full app  rating of Todo Lite
By: Stuuu - Feb 2, 2009
Version: 1.6.1
As best I can tell this application is only intended so you can try out/evaluate the ToDo application before buying it. If you treat it that way then this works well - you can check out all the functionality and make sure it does what you want it to, for free, before spending $10 on the full version (or not, if you don't like it).
I've been looking for the most seamless way to get to do items, or notes, on my iPhone and to get them to sync nicely with something on my Mac that is simple and works well (ultimately I'd like it if this worked via MobileMe, since I use that for calendar and contact syncing... dunno why Apple hasn't done something like this yet). So, I plan to use this to easily synchronize with To Do items in iCal, and this looks like the best solution I've found so far! Thanks Appigo - I'm going to buy the full version.

Excellent!  rating of Todo Lite
By: Devin06 - Jan 21, 2009

I had been thinking about downloading Todo but wasn't sure I wanted to spend $10 on something I didn't know if I would like or not, so when I saw this I had to get it. I had been using To Do for task management, but I like how this program allows you to add due dates and seperate tasks by day and priority. This "lite" version is fully functional, it just limits the number of tasks you can have at once, so you get a feel for what the actual Todo app is like. The only thing I'd like to see in this app is the ability to set alarms, but since there isn't a way for the developers to achieve this I guess i'll have to stick to the calendar if an alarm is really needed. I'll definitely be picking up the full version of Todo soon!

Great demo for a great app  rating of Todo Lite
By: JJJDDD - Jan 16, 2009
Version: 1.4.3
I bought the full version after trying this. I liked that it was full-featured (aside, of course, from the 7 task limit) so that I could get a true feel for using it. I would have been much more reluctant to spend the money on the full version without having been able to try this. The people giving one-stsr ratings to this are missing the point: it's not supposed to be a standalone app, but rather a demo for the full version. And it does that very well.

Fantastic. Why can't anyone else get it right  rating of Todo Lite
By: smellydmz - 14-Feb-2009
Version: 1.6.1
It syncs with ical and mail! It's just what I have been looking for since getting the iphone. No more emailing notes to my self and complex mail rules. I can still email to do's to co-workers. Also, unlike other ones out there you don't have to click though many screens to jot a quick reminder. It would be 5 stars if it had some sort of push or scheduled sync. Thanks you VERY much. I'll be buying the full version.

(can't stand toodledo sync!!! hate to save my personal info on some website!!)what's taking you guys so long?I wouldn't mind paying for the app but $9.99 is way too much!!! you should have a sale before your next release comes out.. then I'll be more tempted to buy it.

Best To Do app out there  rating of Todo Lite
By: Mhollin - Aug 14, 2009
Version: 3.0
There are so many good features to this app. I really like the ability to remind myself to call or text a contact, and then press a button within the app to do the action. Push for me is working great so far, and it's awesome! 2 things would make it perfect and a lot of people have asked for them. 1) Push notifications with badges. I could almost do without a sound alert as long as the # of To Do's popped up for the day. It makes no sense to have to go in the app to show the badge after I've already been alerted. 2) Price reduction. This is a great concept but $10 is a bit much for this type of app. If badges are added for push I might be a little more inclined to buy but we'll see!

The best ToDo so far...  rating of Todo Lite
By: ashley_rox - Aug 9, 2009
Version: 3.0
I've tried this free version out for a few days and really like it. Once I downloaded the free desktop sync they offer, my iCal To Do synchs with this app perfectly and vice versatile. That was the main thing I was looking for. Also, I did see a badge alert pop up on the icon one day before it was due. It is very flexible as far as adding projects or simple checklists. The only feature that is lacking is the reminder options. How about being able to choose what DAY you need reminding rather than a time on the SAME day (too late). Waiting to upgrade to paid version but fell $10 is a bit steep.. discount it and I'll buy!

Best free app I've seen  rating of Todo Lite
By: Chewieez - Nov 28, 2009
Version: 3.0.1
This is the best to-do app I have come across. It syncs easily with my iCal task list which I could not find any other app that would do that. You can have simple tasks or create shopping list style tasks or even projects. The shopping style lists don't keep their formattig when you sync with iCal but the idea is nice on the Touch/iPhone. For the money, free, this app is the best to-do app I've seen.

nice product with integration w/ Outlook, Google  rating of Todo Lite
By: ewj123 - Jul 10, 2009

I am not sure how people can give this less than 3 stars. It is a very nice free product that will integrate with other task/to list. It also allows you show date and importance level.
I am a outlook user and my task list already integrates with MS Project so having this on my iphone keeps me and other people on track. I tried and paid for a number but this free one was nice. I now have the Pro version and get pretty much unlimited information with alerts

Stunning  rating of Todo Lite
By: Qov - 31-Jul-2009
Version: 2.0.1
Instantly easy to use with excellent defaults, and no need to fill in all the fields. Shortcuts minimize keystrokes, but it's also extremely powerful if you want to use it in more depth. Appigo has been extremely generous with the features included in the Lite version.
The blank field problem reported by another user may be a 3.0 issue, as I have had it in another professional app.
