The week view here emulates the iCal week view closely and is a better interface than the built in calendar or the other calendar apps I've tried. It will become your default view. A simple but very helpful improvement would be to indicate with a thin colored line where appointments are hidden above or below the screen for each day so you know to scroll up or down to see them. A pinch to zoom feature to control the number of hours shown would be great. Ultimately we need calendar apps that allow continuous pinch zooming from a single appointment view to a multi month view, with intelligent rearrangement of the data at the various time scales. A calendar designed for the iPhone interface! For that I'd pay even 5 bucks!

Perfect app for simple week view

I had a hardtime going from the blackberry to iPhone and giving up the week calendar view. I use it a ton to make plans, see if lunch is open for the week etc.. This app is great. Not much to it, just a week view, but it integrates totally with your iphone calendar. Totally worth the cost to me. And it's not just for display. You can update appointments, create new ones like normal AND you can copy and paste or drag and drop which you can't do on the normal calendar. Love it! I plan on using this pretty much full time.It is a little small so I do use landscape quite a bit, but I never have gotten used to the list or day view since that wasn't my style so I'm very thankful to be back to a week view!One small bug is that when I tried to invite someone to my meeting it crashes. I just add in regular app so no biggie bit just wanted to mention the issue.

The latest update seems to have fixed the lag problem on my IPhone 3G. The app now runs smoothly and loads very quickly. The badge bug as mentioned in the update info isn't a problem for me as I had it turned off anyway, but maybe that's why some users are having a crash problem. I'm surprised some have criticised the fact that sometimes the text flows vertically when there are two appointments at the same time. The iPhone display isn't exactly A4 size and it is quick and easy to touch the appointment to view or edit any of the details..... My best app yet, and no... I don't have anything to do with the creators, I'm a driving instructor.

AMAZING APP. JUST BRILLIANT!!! I've been waiting for this app to come along, it completes the iPhone. Custom colours are great!!!!! Would be nice if the MS Outlook colours would automatically show up in the calendar on the phone but syncing doesn't do that, you have to manually change the colours on the phone. Hoping an upgrade will allow that to happen automatically. Still at least i have the option to have differnt colours and the landscape view is excellent.

What a great little find this app is. Does everything that the iPhone calendar does but so much better. Love how you can tap to go from week view to day view. The best feature for me is the ease with which you can move events around to different days by dragging and dropping or simply copy and pasting etc. A short help file would be useful to learn all its features. eg. If you tap on the date you get a selector that allows you to choose a date easily. Great job!

Fantastic update, thank you. This provides a great week view of your calendar like iCal on the Mac. It's brilliant and should have been shipped with the phone from Apple.It's easy to scroll through weeks quickly by holding the arrow buttons but would like to see a month view where you can navigate to a particular date/week. It syncs seamlessly with the native calendar app and with MobileMe without having to do anything. Drag and drop is fantastic with copy and past as well, it really is just like iCal for the mac. I'll no longer open the native calendar app and just use this one, as you can do everything in this but more.

The first thing I wanted was direct access to the iPhone calendar data; done. No copying required - the data was right there when I opened the app. Swipe, pinch zooming, easy moving of appointments, custom colour coding, opening up with the current time ... I may never open the built in calendar again. Hey Steve! Business people use your products too. Put some effort into the calendar next time; hire these guys.

Why the iPhone doesn't show weekly calendar views is beyond me. That I have to have an app just for this ought to make the iPhone dev team permanently shamed!That said, the app works really well, and because the weekly view is so useful, I rarely look at the Calendar app now - I'm always looking at Week Cal. Integrates fully and supports multiple calendars, such as your Microsoft Exchange calendar, Google calendar, etc.Unfortunately, I have to highly recommend this app. Steve now owes me $2!

Does exactly what it says it does. This app pulls the calendar information directly from the calendar on your iPhone. No need for a google calendar or any others. Simply plug in as before to sync from your desktop pc. Syncs well with outlook just as the iPhone calendar does. There are many settings to choose from to customize this app. Weekly view is very easy to read. Definitely recommend this!!!

Great App !!Spent a long time looking for a calendar app, and tried a bunch of them. Finally found exactly what I as looking for with this one. It gives me a clear, easy to read week view, with words rather then dots for events. And I can pick a color for an individual event, rather then having each entire imported calendar be one color. Changes I make to this calendar, or events I add, go right on the Iphone calendar too, so I don’t have to change how I sync my calendars. Great app – easy to use, great look – absolutely perfect.

Finally! Like my beloved dayplanner!

I have always avoided using phone calendars because I hate seeing only dots signifying items posted. Week Calendar is great! I can see each item clearly at a glance - best if you cancer away with smaller font. I'm pleasantly surprised. It has convenient alerts and automatically posts birthdays from contact list. Even color codes events if you want. Great customer support too! I'm showing friends and they are really impressed too!

No setup!This app is a win. The fact that apple hasn't added a week view for iOS is a fail and this app picks up nicely where apple falls short.My wife and I use google calendars to keep our lives straight and juggling the kids and their activities. This app is good for a couple calendars but I have 8 calendars and there could be some improvement as to how this app displays multiple calendars. I'd like to see it more like the day view in the native calendar.

It's not perfect "yet" but I have not seen any other week view calendar app that comes close to this one. I had some questions/problems and the developer responded right away. I was impressed that they politely answered all my questions and while I am still having a couple glitches, they are looking into them. They said one of my suggestions was already planned for the next update, so it seems like they are on top of things. I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, but I was happy to learn that you can tap on the date in the header bar and choose a week to jump to. Very nice.

Great app giving a weekly view of your calendar(s)! You can even zoom in on a day to get that day's events. Even with this, the best feature I find is the ability to create an event more quickly because I can default the settings better than iCal allows. The ability to make the 'default event duration' something other than 1 hour makes entering a varied work schedule much easier. For those who don't work "9to5" shifts, this is a great added bonus to this already cool app!

Good Week Calendar

Overall since i have been using this Week Calendar it seems to function quite well, but the screen shots of the events shown in Red & Blue is a bit false. I have yet to find any settings that allows you to change the events colors. Also i would like to see either a way to see the event a bit larger or maybe on the bottom of the calendar with a scroll feature. This app is a good addition to the default calendar that comes on the phone and it does work as far as creating events and seeing them for the entire week, so i guess if the developer continues to improve on this app it can only get better from here. I will change my review once i see some significant updates to improve the quality & functionality of this app.

The app is excellent because the iPhone Calendar application lacks of a weekly calendar and "Week Calendar" takes advantage of that. The integration between the 2 applications is good you can enter an appointment in the iPhone calendar app and it will show up on the Week Calendar and vice-versa. However the interface needs improvement in text size and when you set up the hours in 'Day Starts at" and "Day ends at" options the hours it should display are the ones you set up, instead it displays the whole day. I hope this option can be included in future updates.

Simple enhancement to existing calendar

The existing iPod calendar app is screaming out for a week view. This app provides just that. Simple and easy to use it's a genuinely worthwhile. I think it needs multiple coloured activity types and this is in the next release. I used Palm Desktop previously and loved it until my Palm died. My iPod Touch has nearly filled the gap and enhancing the calendar will be the final jigsaw piece. At just over a quid this app deserves to do well.

Finally, the ability to clearly see a whole week and be able to edit calendar entries as well. A much needed app. Could I suggest to the developer the ability to switch off the display of the time in the event boxes to allow for greater display of the event title. I have a number of half hr events that only show up with the time - this means I need to click in order to view title. This feature would gain my 5 stars. Other than that, the perfect week calendar.

I have been wanting a week view calendar for ages, this is perfect! I can see my week at a glance and all the stuff in my day and move and change things around so easily. Much easier to see and faster to move things around than with the iCalendar you get with your iPhone.
The only thing I wish it had is what the iCalendar has - its icon with the day's date on it so you can see at a glance. Because it doesn't have this, I keep the iCalendar directly underneath this app on my screen so I can have the best of both worlds.

I've been using this app for almost a month. It has replaced the iPhone calendar. I did installed the latest update and it did caused the app to crash 5 seconds after I launched the app. Tried to go to the setting to turn off badging like the instruction but the app crashed too quickly. Ended up deleting and reinstalling the app. That fixed it since it rests the app to default. Once the app is fixed, it would be a great app.
