The purpose of this app is not to dazzle non-iphone owners with awesome graphics or cool "how does it do that?" features. The purpose is to have a information-filled country guide in your pocket. In this sense, it succeeds. Some of the info seems outdated because this is 2009 and most of the infomation is more than a few years old, but if you are seeking late-breaking news on a specific country this isn't the "app for that." This IS the app to use as a quick reference guide to know all the MAJOR details of a particular demograpgh. This has been on my iPhone for 4 months and I rarely used it, but I was reluctant to ever get rid of it because if I ever needed to know anything about a country then this was the app to have. If you want current news then "Google News" it. If you want the basics then "All The Countries" provides.

Does anyone know why this app is rated 17+ for frequent/intense horror, profanity, mature themes, sexual content, and tobacco/alcohol references? Because if you check the rating in the app store, that's what it said.

Love the app, it gives a great run-down on the countries. Would love to buy the pro version but it's only available for 2nd generation iPod. Sad times.

One of the most useful apps I have. Also, Puerto Rico is not a country, it is owned by the US.
