This application for iPhone or iPod Touch makes it easy to consult the online French dictionary TLFi from the “Centre National de Ressources Textuelles et Lexicales” (http://www.cnrtl.fr/).
It is possible to view the definition, the etymology, the synonymy or the antonymy of a word.
The TLFi (Trésor de la langue française informatisé) comes from a dictionary in sixteen paper volumes which contains 270 000 definitions and 430 000 examples.

Facilite la consultation du TLFi

"Dictionnaire" facilite énormément la consultation du TLFi en affichant les pages au format de l'écran du iPod. Plus nécessaire d'augmenter la taille des caractères et de faire défiler constamment à gauche et à droite !

Attractive interface; connection can be a bit slow depending on telephone service level. Doesn't adjust for even slight misspellings, so must be careful typist or you'll get "cette forme est introuvable". But otherwise, very satisfactory app and well worth the price, as well as being a lot lighter to carry than Le Petit Robert.

That app is excelent! I'am a great fan of its widget version, which gave me the certainty of its quality! But need some improving because the app takes too long to respond, what is very annoying!
