Good App, Few Suggestions

I am in the market for a dog and find this app a great resource for learning about dog breeds. That being said, the small icons don't really work well for me. I'd like to have the option to display bigger thumbnails without breed name or with it under the picture. Or having the ability to swipe left or right forward and back in the list when at the full screen picture. That would make this app better and I would think would be extremely easy for the devs to do. Thanks for considering my ideas!

A comprehensive compilation from Wikipedia of almost every known breed (and many designer breeds) with easily readable, detailed descriptions. Sure, you can get the same info searching on Safari, but for dog-lovers this makes it MUCH easier. Its limitations are mostly those of Wikipedia itself; some are better written and much more detailed than others. Also, because they're written by afficionados, many are short on negatives when describing temperament. (Everyone thinks their own breed is great.) Dog-a-log is well designed overall and dog lovers will be glad they bought it. I'd like to see more photos and the ability to zoom in or enlarge a photo, which it doesn't currently seem able to do.

This application is brilliant. It has detailed information on many breeds of dog, even ones I have never heard of. I love the fact that you don't need to be connected to WiFi to get all the information, it's all stored in the application. An added bonus is that it's easy to use. The one fault I have found is that the pictures are very small. I would give it five stars if the pictures were bigger, and there was more of a gallery feature to it, rather than just one picture per breed.

I'm a huge dog lover and I know lots Of breeds and now I know like100 more I lernd alpha blue blood bulldog Biewer and more.... Hope any dog lover gets it it's better than other dog Breed apps I love

Missing a few breeds, but if you want helpful information on a favorite breed, or if you're just bored and want to look up some fun facts, this is the app for you. It is chock full of information, and will keep you busy for hours. I easily would have paid at least $3.00 for this app. It didn't disappoint me, and it will not disappoint you.

This is my first review, so it might seem a bit jumbled! I thought the app was very good, because I have always loved dogs, and it's just amazing how much info is on there! I also thought that the pictures were cute, great for your wallpaper. Check out the Parson Russell Terrier! AWW!!!

My daughter always used to lug around a big book with all the dog breeds in. This is brilliant...loads more breeds and I've always got it on me. No more bored moments :-)

Really great app for dog lovers. I just wish you had more and better pictures, some of the pictures are very pixelated or blurry. An other problem is that for some breeds the font size changes for some reason and becomes really small and hard to read, I wish that could be fixed or that you could zoom into the text or have just one standard font size. Besides those issues I really liked it, Great!

Very informative app. It had significant, useful data for people interested in the origins of how toy or mini breeds are created. I do wish the font was slightly larger and there were more photos. Overall, a quality app for the price.

Helpful for dog shopping!

We lost our 16-year old border collie/springer spaniel and didn't know where to start looking for a new dog. We've used this app every day to research and narrow down our choices. The only improvement might be to include some common mixes of breeds. The new designer dogs are a bit confusing and some info would be great!

I love it! Could use more info & pics.

I'm a Dog lover & me and my GF just bought a Golden Retriever & we are looking to purchase him a buddy now! This app comes in handy when your on the road & want to read about different breeds you might want to think about getting. If you're doggie shopping or just plane love Dogs get this APP. And as for our Goldens buddy, we are leaning German Shepherd or Doberman Pinscher. :)

I love all the breed information in this app. We used it at a dog show, where we used to lug a book around to look up breeds. My only issue is the type size. If there were a way to make the type size larger, either by zooming like a photo or choosing a larger font like the ebooks, it would be really helpful. Thanks.
