gWiki is a unique location aware application that connects you to nearby points of interest in a wiki. No longer do you have to search for what's near you, gWiki finds your location and shows you points of interest based on entries in its wiki.
gWiki Features:
* Finds your location and presents a web page with the closest point in the gWiki database
* Choose your own location from a list of nearby points of interest
* Filtering based on category tags in the wiki
* Toggle on or off automatic web page refresh on new location detection
gWiki is a project led by Dr. Sorin Matei, Associate Professor of Communication at Purdue University and was developed by the Purdue University ECE VIP Program.
