Priceless, well worth the money By: a4u - Aug 5, 2008 Version: 2.1 I paid a lot more for a set of quran CD’s and this does a lot more. iQuran is free for people who can not afford the iQuran Pro. People who complain about the price should know that it takes time and effort to put all of this together. The People who brought this to you also gave you the choice for the free one. Money is well spent for them to improve both the free and the pro applications. For all the Christians please explore the free “iQuran”. Read all and do not believe quotations that are placed out of context by haters. Read all that is before and after such quotations and judge for yourself what islam is all about. “Alssalam Alaykum” translate to “Peace be with you” as we Muslims greet others day in and day out. I assure you we learned it from this holly Book and no where else.
Masha-Allah! Exactly what I was waiting for! By: Samad Ali Siddiqui - Aug 1, 2008 Version: 2.0 When iQuran for iPhone made its debut on the App Store, I thought, "this is truly an well-designed program that makes it easy to listen and follow along with the Qur'an"—that means whether you listen to it a little bit at a time or for hours at a time on end. The interactive, easy-to-use selection interface will get you to where you're at in the Qur'an quickly with no fuss. Now with the ability to select among various translations and recitation recordings, this program is an absolute *steal* at $33! Normal CDs of Qur'anic recitation go for a LOT more than that—and you only get to pick one recitation! This one gives you all the major players—Husary, Al-Afasy, Shuraim, Abu Bakr Ash-Shatree, Abdul Basit (wow!) and Ghamdi... along with the four major English translations, translations into 6 languages *AND* and an Arabic-to-English transliteration to help with your own pronunciation! Alhamdolillah... this is truly a benefit to everyone that has an iPhone.
Alhumdolillah! By: 1danishzoh - 17-Nov-2008 Version: 2.2 MashAllah, great app. I have been using everday ever since i installed it. The new update is great. Though, I was wondering if you guys could respectfully add one more feature. The only place i have seen it is on reciter.org, where you can select from which ayat to which ayat you want to listen from. If that gets added in there, it would really help me out with my ongoing hifz. Jazakum Allahu Khairan.
version 2.2 is the best yet By: Mukmin - 29-Oct-2008 Version: 2.2 An abundance of new features, I especially like the new Notes and Mail It features. And of course the Search! The saved searches showed a search using Arabic characters but I haven't figured out how to input using an Arabic touchboard. Jazakallah khair for this free update. One bug: when mailing a verse using Mail It, the verse text that is in the mail message is not the correct one. For example if I try to mail 30:58, it will mail 30:59 instead (but the subject of the email is correct). I was using the Asad translation.
To AK29 By: sayoubi - 27-Oct-2008 Version: 2.1.12 My brother, I appologize for the brothers and sisters that "attacked" you. You are write about one thing. You are write that you should be able to say what you think. But ... look back at your comment and let one of your friends read it and Insha'Allah you will see that you were a little bit harsh. Regarding attacking the person who wrote WTF, it hink it is not worse the effort as he is not a muslim and we see plenty of those ignorant empty headed "animals" all over our forums. He addressed his words to you because you are a msulim and you should be more supportive to the brothers and sisters who do work such as this product. You are using the free version of the Quran which means the program is useful to you otherwise you wouldn't "keep the free version and don't buy the PAY version". Consider the amount that you will pay as a donation for the brothers and sisters who worked on that product to give them a financial hand to do better and better. Int he end, I ask you to forgive me and all the brothers there were harsh in their responses to you and May Allah forgive all of us. In Sara Al Hujurat, allah (SWT) Says what Means, do not call each other names ... to the end of the aya. Please be good to each others so a person like the one who wrote WTF doesn't laugh at us. Jazakum Allah Khairan
I love the Quran and this app By: Salahuddin15 - Sep 21, 2009 Version: 2.4.2 But there are some things I want to be fixed/improved. 1) when I change the setting to have the surah page open at startup, then when I do open the app, it does so in landscape mode and it doesn't load correcty. Bottom line, it doesn't work well when I change the startup setting to the surah page. 2) when I'm listening to Quran from the iPod app, and I want to open iquran to read the translation simultaneously it doesn't work. The ipod app gets shut off automatically when i open iquran This is with ipray also, and only occurred with the new update. And to sarsoora87, if you were going to taraweeh to listen to sheikh mishary efasy live, then of course it will sound different than this!! Lol this is a studio recording. Live taraweeh will sound different undoubtedly. And the pause is annoying but not that bad if youre listening to surahs with long ayahs.
Update 3 By: Newbie1791 - Aug 31, 2009 Version: 2.4.2 I bought this application for double the current price. How do i get the price difference????Thanks guided ways for listening and lowering the price! I purchased the application and it is as i previously said: priceless. The only comment that I had is that the pauses between ayat could be better adjusted. I noticed this with a couple of reciters. The content of this application remains PRICELESS and the application is wonderful. I would love to see ipray added to it. Please consider it! Raters, pls. be fair to this application and its content (star wise) for it is not just a piece of software and write any feedback in the body of the review
Absolutely brilliant By: Ali1980 - 14-Apr-2009 Version: 2.3 This app is pretty much perfect. Theres not much more to say than that. Does everything, and does it all exceptionally well. The free version is more than good enough, but I think these developers deserve to get paid for such an amazing product. £6 is a an absolute steal for this. However, I dont think the pro version is worth the £6 more than the free version, which might be why most people go for the free one. Something for the developers to think about, in terms of pricing? Also, any chance you could get Sudais on it for the next update? Check out the 'iPray' app aswell, same developers, same top standard.
Best application in apple By: A peny too much for this app - 14-Mar-2009 Version: 2.3 Its unbeateble.

Just amazing, By: mrs.arshad - 08-Feb-2009 Version: 2.2 First i had the free version, but than i had no choice but to buy this, its a complete package and so easy to use, i have tried different recitors, sheikh husary and Abu bakar ash sahtree is my best, sheikh husary is good for children as to learn quranic verses because of his clarity and voice condition.on the whole i will give 5 star as its got transalation in several languages plus visually easy to read, and listening to it while driving is always a bonus.well done.and lastly i had always bought several games but spending on it was not a waste believe me.now i wanna see some application for tafseer (commentery) on quran too.

Bought this when it was £14.99 By: Bablu1234 - 26-Jan-2009 Version: 2.2 And worth every penny. They even have my favourite reciter al mishary on their aswell. It's taken too long for me to finally write in my thanks but I have been enjoying this app immensely. Well worth it bros & sisters of Islam and also helpful to those interested in Islam as well. Help the Muslims get paid. We need more Muslims to come together and develop Ourselves and our ummah needs to get stronger and educate like our Muslim forefathers before us who were seekers of knowledge and pioneers of science as well as being steadfast in Islam.
Best app ever. Keep up the good work inshallah.
Brilliant By: Machievellion - 14-Jan-2009 Version: 2.2 What a beautiful application. The user interface is just so pleasing to the eye, and makes the experience so much easier. The only fix that I can think of is the sharp transition between verses, as others have mentioned, and also a backup issue that u am having with iTunes, in that it takes forever to backup and then eventually just fails. Once this is fixed, it will make the already great application...better. May Allah reward you for your efforts.

Wonderful app By: Penghulu - Aug 9, 2009 Version: 2.4.1 Just this app alone makes it worth getting the iPhone :) It has everything I could wish for - multiple translations (my favorite is Asad, which to me is the easiest to understand) and also into Malay, - different reciters (my favorite is Mishary), - unlimited bookmarks, and - search feature Initially I downloaded the free version and quickly saw the benefit of having such an app, so I went ahead and bought the Pro version - well worth every dime. This is as good as reading the Quran with the added advantage of understanding what is being read (since I'm not a native Arabic speaker). With Ramadhan coming soon, this app will see a lot of use on my end. May Allah bless the developers of this product each time someone uses iQuran Pro. Amin.
I love this! Must Get! By: Ahmed Siddiq - Aug 6, 2009 Version: 2.4.1 Masha'Allah. What a great app. It really helps you with pronouncing words in the Holy Quran. It's like reading the actual Holy Quran. There is are many languages that you can translate it in, so you can understand. It has English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese, Malay, Indonesian, Farsi, Pashto (I think), just to name the some. There is Arabic above the language you choose to translate. That way, it still keeps the word's of Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala correct. You can choose from many reciters. They all recite the Holy Quran beautifully :) I give this 5 stars! I would give more but I can only go to 5 hehehehe! Great app! Must get! Very handy!! You can read anywhere, and it helps you with your pronouncations when you are reciting the Holy Quran. Very good to have, you can take anywehre. You can read anywhere! Get this app!!! :D
Pros and cons By: Grandpareza - Aug 3, 2009 Version: 2.4.1 Alhamdulellah for allowing guided ways to make such an application. Pros: Lots of recitations Search Muhammad asad translation Bookmark Notes Functionality Cons: -When the recitation is playing and goes to the next verse, it takes a full second. I like to recite with a recitor while I'm doing salah and it would be great if it transitioned smoother. Please fix this. -I can no longer play my own recitation on the iPod. This is quite sad. I have many many recitations on my phone and do not like to have to listen to only the ones that the app allows. May Allah guide us to the straight path and along it. Ameen.
Excellent app By: Ibn islam - Jul 23, 2009 Version: 2.4 Alhamdulillah this is the best and easiest Quran for a mobile device. That being said, I bought the pro version mainly so that I could download different recites, and for landscape reading. If I may offer a suggestion to the developers, I would like to see the option for larger text in lanscape mode - what's the point of reading in landscape if the extra screen space isn't utilized?
So far that's my only wish for this app. Please purchase the pro version and support the developers so that inshallah more apps such as this become available and the barakah spreads!
May Allah reward you for this wonderful effort and I'm eagerly awaiting updates.
Amazing By: maaz - Jan 25, 2009 Version: 2.2 Been using the free one for a while and made the jump to pro when I saw the 9.99 price (too good to pass up).
It has every translation I have hoped for so far. I don't believe the developer alters or even transcodes any of the translation themselves, so to those claiming mistakes, please do not blame the developer.
Loving the pro version, latest updates were just foam at the top.
This app alone makes the iPhone worth it.
Good job!
Excellent Product By: Techie-User - Jan 6, 2009 Version: 2.2 I have been using the free version of the Iquran Pro software for a while, and I am very impressed. I have played around and used atleast 6+ different quran softwares and this one inspite of its small package ranks at the very top. The Free version pretty much fulfills the needs to the everyday user, I specifically bought the pro version to support the developer. Excellent product, and even non-muslims might also want to check out the free version just to view the graphics & slick interface. Thanks Guided Ways
