Thank you for your great app and the fact it's free! It's much easier for me to browse what's on, thank you.I just wanted to ask for one thing... (this has been fixed in the update. AMAZING thank you)When clicking on a channel from the channels overview page - after browsing the details of that channel and returning to the overview page - the time of that particular channel defaults to its earliest time rather than the current time as displayed by all the other channels on the overview page. Could this be fixed?

Brilliant! I downloaded this dubiously as all other TV Guide apps I have tried have either had bad advertising on them, or a rubbish update/channel list - but thought why not for free!
I was not let down! Far superior to the other apps. Does just as advertised! Lets you reorder, choose what you want to have shown (you can even chose regional) and has some presets including Sky, Freesat and Freeview! Tinkering around on it this morning it also seems to go 5 days into the future! Great for planning those nights in with a movie! 5*

Does a good job of telling you what is on TV now and next and more detailed listings for each channel. I use it quite a lot. I'd like the next version to include a remind me feature that would make a pop up alert or alarm for when my tv show is going to start.Anyone giving this app a low score is either comparing it to a fully blown website implementation or are lacking the grey matter to operate such a simple and well designed app. 5 star app, one you'll actually use ;) keep up the good work.

This app is pretty cool and does what it says for the most part, but for some reason it doesn't seem to recognise that there is a part of the day (or night if you're being pedantic), in fact a whole six hours from midnight to six am which is filled with programming just as the other eighteen hours are, unfortunately this app skips from midnight (00.00) to six am (06.00) and will not list any programmes within this time frame. As I've said this is a good app and for ninety percent of people who use it this will not be a problem, but for those other ten percent night owls who absolutely have to know what's on the goggle box through the night (perhaps you're a long distance lorry driver and it's the only thing that keeps you awake, lucid and not mowing down hapless hitchikers on a rainy night) I guess old style analogue technology, like a newspaper with TV listings is probably the way to go...hope this is helpful!

Great app, but icon is awful...

This seems excellent. I've used it for a week or so now and it seems stable and reliable.
My only complaint is that the icon is horrible! I know it's the logo for the website, but it looks awful on my phone with all the naff effects. One star lost for that, otherwise it would be five stars. ;) It's a shame, because the design in the app is really clean and great looking. Even the white text on a flat red heart with a flat blackground (i.e. lose all the shadows and gradients) would be a huge improvement.

I can't imagine this will be free for long but at this price it's worth every penny! A few tweaks - searching, bookmarks, reminders and the ability to delete channels you don't want (TopUpTV anyone?) - and it would be near perfect and rate five stars. For new users an info. page would have saved me wondering how to scroll to the next day (thanks Milky12345) due to the black-on-black navigation icons in the top-right of the screen.

I use tvguide.co.uk online but when I found out that they did an iPhone app I couldn't believe my luck, use this all the time. I gave this 4 stars because it doesn't (as far as i can see) show any channel numbers. On the website it lets you choose what tv service you have and then shows relevant channel numbers if the devs can sort this then 5/5 from me, really hope they can do this :).

With a minor tweek I'd rate it 5!

This is a fantasic app, you can add and remove channels from your line up or use presets. I have two niggles with it though, please look at for your next updates - 1. it would be really useful if we could add program reminders possibly to play an alert tone. 2. When viewing listings in the middle of the night it is only possible to view niw and next, if you tap though to see complete listing for a channel it automaticly displays the following days listings from 9am which is no good if you want to read about anything between 00:00 and 09:00! Please fix.

This app does everything you need to check what is on TV, and it's free. iPod touch users will be pleased to know it saves the current day's listings so you can check what is on when you're travelling back home or out and about away from WiFi access. I don't see why anyone could give this 1* or 2* as it works, and works very well. It's easy to setup the channels you are interested in, and you can quickly see what is on now and soon, plus get more details on all programmes for any channel up to 6 days ahead. It hasn't crashed on me once and I've been using it every day since when it was launched.
My only reason for not giving it 5* is that it could really benefit from a landscape view mode where it switched to a time-based grid with channels down the side and time along the top, and scroll vertically through the channels and horizontally through time of day, and tap on a programme to switch to that channel's details starting with that programme. That extra view would make this already very good app pretty near perfect.

Good app but not perfect... Yet.

I've read a lot of reviews, yes, it definitely needs channels numbers for the various types of viewing, ie: freeview & sky. Also could do with personal viewing planner to highlight & remind you of up coming programs you don't want to miss etc. I've written up these things to tvguide.co.uk and their website warmly welcomes new ideas for their products, so maybe with time we'll have that perfect tv guide App we're all looking for.Also, it's FREE! Keep up the good work tvguide.co.uk!

At last a tv listing that is stored on my iPhone. Would give it 5 stars if: 1. Font slightly larger. 2. Could store up to 8 days worth of listings. 3. Had channel numbers (2? For main tv on cable and spare tv on freeview). 4. Reminder option. 5. Search option (by program or genre). Also, I don't see the point of showing rating score, it is irrelevant when just wanting to find out what's on tv. If it had all the above, I would even pay for this app.

Great app but lacks movie feature at least

I love this app, it shows V/Media & Sky and lots more. One thing it misses is the movie feature that the other tv-guide uk-free app has. It has a neat feature where you press the movies tab and it tells you all the movies on tha night from the channels you have selected. Oh, and the sports feature, too, same scenario.
Please add these features to this app in the future. With those features, it's perfect.
