This is the best App ever! I have used it many times!! I like that it also gives the address when you look up a reverse phone number. A friend of mine had gotten several wrong numbers on her cell phone and didn't know where they were coming from, so I told her I could find out for her... Checked the numbers and Wa La there they were, name, number and address. I really wish it could give you the name of cell phone numbers though. Since our world is all about cell phones now, and fewer people have home phones, that would be a nice added feature to this Application! It also has saved me time and money trying to find a number rather than having to call information or look up numbers on Google. Thanks for a great app!! :)

This is a very nice app. The "Reverse Phone" is very cool. Typed in my phone number and it found me and my wife.
I have another app (People). This seems better so far. I downloaded it and installed it on my iPhone.
No problems or crashes (like a few others mentioned). I have a few suggestions to the developers:
1. Add an "Edit" button in the "Recent Results" that lets you delete (and optionally rearrange) entries (not a clear, like others have, I don't want to always clear all entries, just some of them).
2. In the "People" app, there is a "Near" option, that returns people "near" where you are using your GPS location. This would be a nice addition (it was a bit buggy in "People").
Anyway, great job on your app. Hope you add some of my suggestions.

Great interface, quick and accurate. Very impressed with the thought that went into all the features -- Such as, contact merge, directions. etc. Couple suggestions for future add ons... (1) From the merge function allow what data to merge by checking a field box or the like. As i may prefer to keep the name as i entered it originally vs middle initials etc being added to contact. (2) From the People Search it would be cool if you had the option of pulling from your iphone contact list. (3) In the same context, Reverse Numbers Search would have option to pull #s from the "recent call" list. (4) Allow Directions to offer choices of the "From" location... option to pick from Contact List, Manual Entery or via Location Services. ONE PROBLEM I have is when I check "Do Not Allow" from location service view it just hangs, forcing me to close app.

other services charge around 10$ a search and mainly can only be used within your city! but this is truly amazing for a great price! I found my 2nd grade teachers number and gave her a call because she was cool and I also found my girlfriends address another cool thing lol also saves up all the struggle of flipping through pages and credit card scams great! I also like to use it to call back those annoying cmpanies selling mortgage

Developers please read!!! : This app is great and it deserves 5 stars but I would give it six if there was a way to use the reverse call feature in recent calls/missed calls part of the phone itself. Usually when I see an unfamiliar number in my phone I want to use this app to track it but when I go to the white pages app and select the reverse call option, I then have to type in the number (from memory or off a piece of paper) it would be very convienent if I could just select the number from my recent calls/missed calls.

A must have app for your iphone. The reverse feature is great! Ever wonder who the last caller is, Well if they are not in your contacts, just use this app and if the number is listed, all the info on the listing will pop up. Best part, it's free!
Gotta get it for your phone, Also Goggle app and the yellow pages app. White Pages PLZ !!!! Add the option to search reverse calls from the recent calls list.

The Update Works Fine on iPod Touch 2G!

There have been a bunch of reviews about the update breaking on the ipod Touch. I have a 2G Touch and I ran into some problems at first but I eventually got it to work.
I did see that the app store was saying "This application is not supported on the ipod" at first. So I deleted the application completely from my app store account and then "re-purchased it" (yes, I know its free). Then viola!!! I was able to sync the entire 1.1 version of this app to my ipod Touch and IT WORKS GREAT!!

This is a great app with great features - a must have in its category. By way of improvement, this app should have an email and/or text feature to send contact information directly from the app to other mobile phones or email accounts. It is annoying when you need to pass on the information to have to write it down and then type it into a message (I suppose you could make it a contact with one touch and then text it, but who wants to add unwanted contacts). Otherwise, thanks for a great app.

Amazing - This app will save you lots of time.
I love the reverse phone number. You give it a number and it gives you a name and address. It lets you add as a new contact or an existing contact and also provides a map. This is all besides the normal people and business search.
And I have also found the recent search useful when I don’t want to save something right away but don’t really want to re-input all the info.

This is terrific, I'd even pay for this. Any person I tried it found, even one with an unlisted phone (didn't give me the number of course but did find the address). Assuming address info is available you get a little map window that will take you to the Maps app with one click. Also does Yellow Pages for business and reverse lookup from a number to a name. Easier and quicker than firing up a computer, browser, yellowpages.com!

I use this app more than any other. Think about somebody you haven't thought of in years? SO easy to type in a name, try some likely locales and find them! Quickly add to contacts, see map of home, etc. Can't think of Boss's wifes name? Put in phone # under reverse phone look up, his name and address appear, the names of other residents will appear below. Was great for verifying addresses for party invitations also. I'm your biggest fan! Wish there was one for cell numbers-I think!!

I absolutely LOVE WhitePages Mobile and have recommended it to all of my friends! I use it all the time! It works great! It allows you to search a name, business or reverse phone number (won't tell you a name on a cell phone number though, just the city and carrier). Once you find what you are looking for, you can immediately get a map to that location. One of my favorite things about it is that is works with Outlook. When I find what I am looking for, I can create a new contact or add it to an existing contact in Outlook. And best of all, this fabulous app is FREE!

Wow! Well integrated! One of my most used applications.

This application is wonderful. I've looked up a business, got their address and phone number from that look up, added it to my contacts (including existing ones), and touched the map icon on the results screen and used GPS to find my way to their store, all from one screen! I use this app just about as much as I use my phone application! I am so astounded that it was free. Only improvement I can think of is if they would add the option to select from a list of categories rather than typing one in. Keep up the good work!

I spent days trying to contact an old friend. I googled, I tried information (that was a waste of money), I tried classmates, I dialed my fingers raw calling everyone we knew in common. Then I stumbled over this whitepages mobile app. 5 minutes later I've got a familiar voice on the phone. Amazing! This icon goes right on page 1. I cannot believe this is free! This has easily got to be the most useful app you can put on your phone. The best phonebook many can't buy! Thank you whitepages!

Hate the new colors! Makes eyes water and it's way to bright. Bring old colors back please! Noticed some features are now gone and it would of course be ones I used. I used this app all the time but now I think I might delete it unless I can get the old version back. It also doesn't give addresses alot of the time or says it doesn't find what I'm looking for. If you have the old version keep it, definately don't upgrade!

This app. is a great app. I use it all the time. There hasn't been a search yet that I have not found the number /address for. This is a very reliable app with a simple to use interface. My only thing against this app is that I have the first generation iPhone and so it is slow. I wish that we had the ability to download the phonebook to the harddrive to our phone. Overall great great great app. Quick and easy way to find numbers/addresses.

Nice App ... Needs Zip Code in Business Searches

It's a well designed application, but needs refining. There should be a zip-code field, or allow zip-codes in the City/State field of business searches. Being there is a limit on search results shown, all you end up with are maybe A-C on a search for Pizza in Seattle, rather than searching for Pizza Seattle, WA 98102. This would narrow down a search to a specific neighborhood.
Also wish there was a way to update or delete information on a listing you know is wrong, or outdated like you can on a Google map search.

Great application, but there are a few features I would like it to have in regard to the reverse phone lookup:
I want the ability to select from within the application from a list of phone numbers who have recently called me that were not in my phone book. That way I wouldn't have to receive a call from an unknown number, memorize the number, run the application, and then enter the number to do the reverse lookup.
I also wish I could e-mail the results of the reverse phone lookup, etc. to myself.
Otherwise, this is a very useful and well thought out application.

Great app! Time and money saver and it's free. Even if they chafed a dollar for this app I would pay for it. Would like to see it more google based when it comes to searching for a business or personal number. Ex: county court house is what I entered to find where to vote was listed under election board. This is why I gave 3 stars will give 4 when if you fix this ;) stii awesome and practical app! Thanks to the developers for sharing it.

I originally installed via the iphone app store and when i tried to launch, it would crash and when trying to access my iphone settings it would freeze, so i had to reboot my iphone (hence knocking off one star though i'm not sure if its an apple problem or the app itself, but i haven't had that problem before with any other app installs directly from the iphone). i deleted it, and then reinstalled it from itunes on the computer and synced it to my iphone and now works like a charm!!! the look and feel fits right in with the iphone and the functionality works great!!!
