Good potential, but needs improvment. It disconnnects after only a few minutes inactive, sometime drops packets and some characters are displayed wrong. To the other reviewers, of course it does not work with MSN, did you even notice the name of the application??

Su iPod touch il push funziona solo mentre il display è acceso. Altrimenti arrivano ogni 15 minuti le notifiche.

why is this app only eligable for 2.2.0 version of iPhone software I had it and tried to update it and it wouldn't work. now I don't have aim thanks a lot.

Here's a handy guide to all those reviewers who apparently know nothing about this app or the device they are trying to run it on.- No, it won't do MSN. It's AIM. Does MSN support AIM? No. The clue is in the name. If you want to use MSN for whatever reason download one of the free IM apps that supports it - IM+ Lite, Fring, Palringo, Nimbuzz, that sort of thing. Don't download an app that was never designed to do something and then rag on it because it doesn't do it. All you have to do is put "MSN" in the App Store search box. It's not AOL's fault that there is no official MSN Messenger app for the iPhone/iPod Touch.- if it keeps crashing, restart the iPhone/iPod Touch. That means properly switch it off with the big red slide-across switch and then turn it back on again, not just sleep it and wake it up. This should be your absolute first troubleshooting step for any app issues at all; the App Store has been out for over a year now so you really should have learnt this already. Needing to do this doesn't mean the app is broken. It doesn't mean your iPhone/iPod Touch is broken. The iPhone/iPod Touch is a little computer and like all computers they sometimes need to be restarted to clear out all the clutter and make them work properly. This is normal.As for my review of this app: can be a little fussy if you're in a weak signal area or moving. I preferred it before it was ad-supported (AIM's desktop client is ad-supported as well). By and large this app does what it's supposed to do and it's free.

せっかくどこでもiChatを出来ると思ったら入力の際に変換候補がキーボードと被ってしまい、大変入力しにくいです。早くバージョンアップしてほしいです。Ver1.2いまだ日本語入力の改善は見られません。早急な対応を待っています。Ver1.31.3にて日本語入力の不具合が直っています。使用環境はiPhone2.1でやっているのが原因かな？

Seit geraumer Zeit stürzt die free Version nur noch ab. Nach der Anmeldung logged sie sich sofort wieder aus und lässt sich nicht mehr anmelde. Schade, aber deswegen kann ich nicht meine anderen Apps löschen

Japanese and T9 writing

Great application, but has anyone tried to type either in japanese ( maybe not many people care about it..) or in T9 mode?The pop up menu blocks the the upper line of the the buttons.... very hard to write.Hope in an update this pop-up could be moved elsewhere.:-)
