the update isn't very exciting:p. actually I don't like it at all. like some other people said, it's slower, alot slower. the lifestream, livestream thing is ridiculous&we could do without. did anyone else notice that everythings bold now? I don't like it. for the new update, you should put in a landscape keyboard, but an optional one. other than that, this is an awesome app:). I use it everyday. I hope you read this, if you put in a landscape keyboard, alot of people will give it more ratings. & ALSO; a place to edit your profile. I found that you can't do that from the mobile aim. you should do that:).

uhmm okay so I updated the new aim and now every time I try to go on it loads then says reconnecting and the reconnecting thing never goes away so I can't send IMs and it's really annoying

It's okay I guess. It deff needs the landscape mode for sure and the adds are annoying and I hate how you can't change your buddy info. But it hasn't crashed yet.

This is a cool app, but it needs some fixes, like maybe a better tone for when you recieved a message and letting us be able to know when you get a message even when your not in the app. And a font color and size would be cool too.

Plz updated I liked it b4 this two updates u made I liked the big letters better now it's just tiny and it crashes to much and also when I send a im and get out the app and go back in it says the same thing in the keyboard plz fix and make a chat room too that would make it 5 stars

Just download the updte again.and it should go allot faster then before. It did for me anyways.the reconnecting I hate,should fix that.but I would give the new update and this app a five star.

This new aim is horrible I can't even change a word in my away if I wanted to and on top of that I can't copy and paste something from my notes to make it an away WTF is up with that?? No where is the old aim.. We need that back ASAP or just a new upgrade and fix theses problems please.. And y are you trying to mr like Twitter and facebook .. Aim is aim leave it alone!!

This app would be 5 stars if it didn't sign me in and then try reconnecting after 5 seconds and never stop reconnecting unless I exit the app. I've even tried uninstalling it and redownloading it. Fix this problem please.

It's a little slower and should have landscape, but my biggest problem is that when I update my status people on aim and iChat don't see it anymore. Plus this stupid lifestream thing is complete crap and gets in the way. get rid of it.

Works fine on my 3gs BUT battey goes from 100% full to almost dead in about 30 to 45 min of chatting or even just logged in and not chatting. Yahoo lasts 10x longer.

If u guys didn't read, the last update said that the update didn't have the landscape keyboard included, BUT they will include it for a future update!!! And yes u can recieve IMs while not on the app... I recieve texts showing the IM all the time, I can even reply through texting... I don't even hav to go on the app... U just need to set it up properly!
